Thanks for connecting! Options are to keep hands in lap if doing chair yoga, or at heart center, by your sides, or on hips if doing a mat yoga practice. The important thing is to listen to your body and make modifications that work for you 😍

I’m new here Sue. This is exactly what I was looking for and needed. I used to be so active and fit working with a trainer and boxing etc. Then I got breast cancer and almost died. I suffer from lymphedema in my chest and back on my left side if I do too much. I’m trying to incorporate at least yoga into my meditation and hope to gradually get to where I can do more. I see you have a disclaimer so this comment bears that in mind. Your video is aimed at beginners over 50. I’ve been doing yoga for a few years now but one or more of the poses in this video are more advanced than beginners. Whilst I’m responsible for participating in your exercises I wanted to let you know that I will be staying with the dozen or so yoga videos that I trust won’t be too risky and cause any unwanted muscle pain as did your video.
Gentle stretches and calm demeanor are perfect for a day when I'm a bit tied up in knots.Thank you!

All I can say, Sue, is that my problematic upper back feels alive and open! I have not run across Yoga focusing on the upper back, so this session was an absolute treat...and very VERY sweet. Shoulders, too, feel looser and more relaxed. Your gentle, precise guidance literally puts me in a trance-like state, especially your close attention to breathing in concert with each move and position.
