  • Invite a gentle, all-over body stretch using the support of a chair. This practice is accessible to beginners, seniors, and all-levels of yoga student.
    This yoga class is led by Sue, a certified yoga instructor. Sue is 200 hour YTT trained, Thai yoga massage certified, Reiki certified Level 1 and 2.

    Your gentle direction to create that mind body collaboration through breath is invaluable. Your gentle instructions, and the choices you offer to make many moves an individual 's practice friendly experience, has a hypnotic affect on me which increases the relaxation I seek in your lessons.     Sue, my body has been ruined in recent years. I was once super fit, then I got MRSA. I was getting over that and developed a heart and lung problem. I've even been unable to put on my own socks. You are helping me and I'm so glad I found you.

    Sue, I have an extra challenge. I can't raise my legs to cross them. Is it OK for the time being to rest my ankles and feet on a Gym Ball?

      Hi Grenville, this is a really good question. I like that you’re proposing adjustments to fit you. That’s exactly what you’re supposed to be doing so well done! Just wondering if a ball is steady enough or if the movement of the ball might make the poses difficult. You might also want to play around with yoga blocks if you have them and see if those help. Another modification if this works for you is to keep the feet rooted on the floor and gently hinge forward a bit to find sensation in the hips. Hope this helps and look forward to hearing how it’s going. 😊😊
