- In this video, we will do some easy chair yoga exercises together. Chair yoga is great for seniors or beginners who are new to yoga. This video features my favorite chair yoga exercises for seniors or people with limited range of motion, but everyone can enjoy these exercises. Perfect if you have injuries or want to know how you can use a chair to stretch in the airport, office, or on the go.

I am 76 years old but still very active...playing pickleball 3 times a week. When I arrive home I find that chair yoga helps to stretch and elongate my muscles. It balances my body and gives me energy to continue with my day.

I am 67 years old and live with degenerative disc disease and arthritis. My doctor suggested yoga as a way to strengthen and elongate my muscles, improve flexibility and balance and help with pain. The chair exercises challenge me enough to keep doing them. Instead of being overwhelmed trying to attempt something I can't do, this video has inspired me to keep going. I like the chair yoga and stretches I can do standing. I can't do the floor exercises due to vertigo. I love this video! My Mama always said getting old is not for sissies. Mama was right! Thank you!

I am suffering from a pharmaceutically induced Fibro. The pain is unbelievable & over the last year I have seen my body undergo serious delapitation. I've also got pretty severe forward head. This short video has helped me more than any amount of PT. I can't believe the reduction in pain. I can't thank you enough. God bless you!

I am physically disabled and decided to try some chair yoga for some easy exercise. I loved your video! The pace was great and I was able to make simple modifications in the stretches for my limitations. I'd love some similar videos and plan to use this one on a daily basis. Thanks!

I'm 67 too! I use a ironing table instead of a chair for the forward fold at the beginning because of the shape of my chair. It works fine. When getting to the hip stretch, I stretch an arm across the the desk in front of me. That works too. Thanks Brett!
The routine was perfect--halfway between very difficult yoga and some overly easy chair yoga I've tried. I'm planning to use this in a new group I'm starting at a day program for adults with mental illness. Thank you for your wonderful yoga routine. I feel great during and after doing it!

Thank you for this video! I used to love yoga and aerobics but stopped because life got too busy and hectic, and exercise became another chore that I grew to dislike. This is not only the perfect length of time, but it is also gentle on my inflexible body. Feeling better already.

Brett Larkin you might have saved my future. My back has been so tight after a car accident 11 years ago my drs said I'll be in a wheelchair in my 50s. After doing your chair yoga my back has loosened. I cant remember the last time my back was loose. I feel like ive lost weight too doing it although the dr scale always says I've gained a pound. Thank you. You inspire me and I've been doing your chair yoga for 7 weeks now everyday and haven't missed a day. I do it even when im in pain and twice have cried doing it due to the amount of back pain im in but im dedicated and refuse to miss a day. Thank you again for giving me a new meaning on life.

Just started chair yoga at 62. Had a sitting job all my life and now my body will not move. So stiff and unused. Someone suggested chair yoga and after just 2 weeks I can feel more flexibility. I hope you post more chair yoga and maybe for 30 minutes . Thank you

Yes, more chair yoga like this please! Yoga classes are too intense for my aging body, but this I session was very do-able. I really enjoyed the stretching without feeling as though I was trying to do something my body was incapable of. Thank you for this video!

Going crazy compiling with stay at home, the joints were getting stiffer and stiffer. And then I found your video. Thank you for helping me begin my day feeling rejuvenated. I totally love this! I have degenerative spine disease and scoliosis. Today was my first time trying chair yoga. :-) I used so many different parts of my body. Yes, the stretching hurt a little but I didn't push it. Looking forward to doing this as part of my daily routine. Everyone young or a bit older :-) should try it!
