    I've watched a million balance exercises, and yours is the only one I do. You don't waste time yapping about your credentials and explaining your program. We start moving and you explain as we go. A great time saver for me and very beneficial!

    Thank you so much for this video. I’m newly diagnosed with osteoporosis at 54. I didn’t realize how important balance is and also didn’t realize how much I needed to work on mine. I’ve added this to my daily routine, and I’m already seeing an improvement. I’ve since found other helpful videos in your channel and have subscribed. You’re easy to listen to and follow. As a busy person, I also appreciate how well you use the time in your video and get right to the purpose.

    I am almost 89 years old and I must tell you ,I love this exercise.I do not have any problem to keep up with you.During the Covid I stop going to my regular exercises and I got kind of “rusty!” but I didn’t give up my every day 40 or more minutes walking.     Excellent presentation. I'm 73 and I just had partial knee replacement and discovered I now have balance issues. I love the calmness and quiet encouragement, and I'm now doing this every day. This is the first video I've "Liked" and well deserved.

      I am 72 and discovered I started to feeling balance issues, when I broken my left ankle, two surgeries same foot right and left side.👊👊

    Oh this was exactly what I needed. Had surgery and on crutches for 6 weeks. Limited mobility for a year. This massaged my joints.

    I'm over 70 yrs old. Due to covid's SIP in CA, I've become a couch potato living with my son. Aged fast, no gardening and losing my balance. THANK YOU! It is what I need. God bless you!

      From another 75+,
      The reason for couch potato is different from what you mentioned.
      It’s mindset, living with son,
      - first is dependability, sons are supposed to take care of parents.
      - watching videos are more interesting, is urge creator leads to habituation & couch is cosy.
      - pseudo depression due to not in control of mind, always diverting from what you want to do and not being done.
      Sometimes done at last moment or not done at all. And that create more depression, I call it recursive depression.
      I have most of this, except I do not live with my son.
      I have important expiry dates for chores on Dec 7, 14 & daily.
      Cardio Walk 4+ km/50 minutes I would do 2, 3 days/week, this week FOCUSSED for 6 days/week
      I need to gain muscles mass & gain 10 Kg weight.
      Yesterday I did some streching, but I don’t have balance of standing on each leg.
      So, I need to FOCUS on body building.
      Overall, we NEED FOCUS & ACTION, by self, no dependability.
      Though I am PARTIALLY FOCUSSED ON SOME - I coaxed myself into this some time back
      - cook my own food, gourmet too, all natural, NO canned/processed/microwaved/pressure cooked/plastic containers/non vegetarian
      Healthy selective products conducive to Diabetes-2, Hypertension, Coronary disease, salads, veggies, fruits, legumes, dairy,evoo
      The daily one,
      Today I woke up at 5:30 am, slept last night at 10:30 pm, FIRST TIME trying for it for many moons, because the idea was perpetual & last night, I had a FOCUSSED MOMENT, to lie down under cosy blanket.
      So, you get some idea, what I am talking about.
      To boost yourself by yourself one of the MOST IMPORTANT FOCUSING TRAIT IS TO KEEP SELF MENTALLY ACTIVE PRODUCTIVELY.
      - Think about your achievements during your productive era, and in today’s word explore how would you enhance them. That with lead you to mental exploration mode about the lifestyle around - even take you out for gardening to start with. Just imagine you can grow your own organic produce much better, fresh & cheaper than the one from market. You would save the carbon imprints too.
      I am in the process of designing & building self sustaining Food Jungle on 3000 sq feet more reclaiming 3 lawns. I already have an orchard covering 1000 sq feet developed some 40 years ago, totally organic, no chemicals, not even insecticides & pesticides.

    The problem I have with a lot of these senior-targeted videos is that the instructor is chirpy-syrupy-sweet and thinks cheering us on like we're dim four year olds is going to inspire us. Nothing could be further from the truth! Jessica treats us like ADULTS, doesn't waste time with chirpy platitudes, and respects the fact that we are going to be at different levels of ability. This is the first video I have WANTED to use and have used repeatedly. Kudos to Jessica!

    I really glad I found this. I am 90 years old and these exercises help me. I can stand 4 seconds on one leg but still wobbly so I have a long way to go. I am, trying hard to do this every day and I hope in a few months I can report some progress. Thank you.

    Great video. I like the fact that you encourage people to close our eyes as this is not often mentioned and does add a challenge. I've seen an improvement in my balance. Thank you.

    Thank you for this set of balance exercises. I have broken my left ankle twice and then had a grade 2 sprain. This was very helpful in working on my balance.

    Brilliant. My wife and I are in our late 70s and our experiences over the past few years has deprived us of a level of fitness. My wife has been doing this for a couple of months and her balance has improved immensely. I have now started and I feel confident it will help.
    Good balance is key to remaining fit.

    I’m 35, and had always been active throughout my life; a swimmer in high school. And I am unable to do the calf crunches in the beginning of the video with my eyes closed unfortunately. “A body in motion stays in motion.” Thank you for sharing this video, excellent presentation.

    These are excellent! I just started doing balance exercises a week ago and am looking for more things to add on. I’ve been a tripper my entire life and it hasn’t gotten any better so I’m hoping these will do the trick!

    I'm 77,had to stop running last year due to Osteoarthritis in one knee,I'm getting on great with long walks and my exercise machines.Started this program because the leg which has the foot bunion is not too strong at balancing although I have been practicing for a while.I think this will help a lot,thank you.

    This video is exactly what I have been looking for. I have low vision AND have been recovering from a broken ankle. These exercises would have been a great addition to my physical therapy but will be a great help now!

      @@JessicaValantPilates will these exercises help if I don’t have real balance issues. But I find when I do exercises that include squats and lifting my knee I lose my balance. I never noticed it before. So will these exercises help for such a thing?
