- This Chair Yoga for Seniors class is a great way to stay active and stay healthy as you get older. In this video, we'll teach you the basics of Chair Yoga, Level 2. This class is designed for seniors and people with limited mobility and will help improve your balance and core strength.

one of the reason's Kiersie's sessions are better than others, is she repeats folks should do what they can. "is perfect". She doesn't demonstrate her super flexibility, she focuses on what many of us with sore joints might be able to do. And makes us feel good about just moving.

I already see a difference in my posture and muscles. I do your Level 2 every day with your doggies resting in front of you. I feel so different and I never thought yoga would do that. I started with first level. Today I upgraded to second level. Thank you so much . I’m 70 yrs old with lots of arthritis and it helps keep my joints from getting to stiff. I’m so happy I found you . GOD Bless!
This young lady's sessions are just wonderful on so many levels! Strengthening, relaxing, and great for relieving stress. I find these sessions very therapeutic.
I'm 80 and pretty fit, riding a bicycle over 2,000 miles each year. However, I've always been as stiff as a board. Your chair exercise is great for helping gain a little flexibility. There are 100s of chair yoga sessions on RUclips, but your's is the best IMHO. It would be great if you added one more that was just a bit more advanced. There is a huge leap in your videos from this to your standing yoga sessions, at least for a guy as stiff as me.

Kierstie, I'm a 71-yr-old female with severe lower lumbar issues. My physical therapist and two physicians highly recommended yoga for core strengthening to alleviate pain. I've started participating with your restricted mobility video daily. You are such a wonderful instructor and your class doesn't feel like drudgery. in 3 days, I already feel more flexibility and notice improved balance. Thank you!

Hi Kierstie, thank you so much for these videos! I'm 67, had two total hip replacements within the last year and a half, and both knees are bone on bone, which prevents me from doing many other types of yoga. These videos make me feel much more flexible, and energized! I've been saying so much lately, "I'm too young to feel this damn old," but having only been following you for a couple of days, I'm already starting to feel better. Thank you!

I have been doing your 3 chair yoga exercises for many months now. I am 72 and have a lot of arthritic joints and one knee replacement and another due. I get very stiff and found your sessions helped my flexibility to start the day. I have taken a two week break as I have been on holiday and I really notice the difference. I am 69 years old and I started doing your chair yoga and balance exercises each day 5 months ago. By incorporating your yoga sessions with a fasting programme I have lost 56 pounds up to now, I am much more flexible and feel so much better. I can't thank you enough and I look forward to level 3!

Kiersti, you are doing something for many people you may never meet. My wife and I are in our early 70s, and we know the importance of staying active. Until a few months ago, we were avid tango dancers, but my right shoulder developed tendonitis; I did physical therapy for a few months with mixed results. My wife struggled with increasing hip pain. Then about 3 weeks ago I found this video and your other videos. We have been going through this video just about every day; we do a shorter chair yoga before this one. Both of us feel better - better breathing, movement, and my shoulder, although not yet pain free, has a greater range of motion and flexibility in general is better. Thank you, and Namaste.

I have MS and I do your level one in the morning when I awake up. I do your yoga chair level 2 in the afternoon and an evening yoga before going to bed. It is so good and making me feel so good thank you so much xxxxx I am 62 years young hahahahahaha

I am 79 and have only recently started this chair yoga level 2. I am amazed how good I'm starting to feel. I had a hip replacement a few months ago and still take it easy on a couple of exercises but I am totally confident that doing this daily is going to speed up my mobility. I am 68 with some osteoarthritis of my knees and I love the way she delivers her instructions. She is mindful of seniors needs and limitations. I recommend her videos!❤
I started with your Level 1 a little over a week ago. I thought maybe I'm ready for Level 2. What a great step up to slightly more challenging moves! This will be great to stick to for the next month to get to the point where the moves are easier. I am younger but in a wheelchair, so this is perfect for someone like me. Thanks.

I became a regular " fan" late last year and thank you so very much for level 2. At 86 my health is excellent and I am fortunately in good physical condition but I wrestle with a chronic balance problem Your seated sessions and presentations are outstanding and help keep me both physically and emotionally centered. I start my day with you. Your seated yoga is perfect! I have multiple sclerosis and being able to move/stretch a bit helps me to feel more free. Have progressed to the second session, having begun with your first session. Even my 70 year old hubby sometimes joins me. Thank you

I just saw your yoga exercises and i truly love this. i been doing sitting exercises for over a year, with music, ad using different types of exercise equipment, my story is very difficult to tell you. but i been in so many accidents from job related and and accidents that happen to me long time ago . but my last one was a winter accident in 2001, i was a active person, snd loved to power walking. my sister got me hooked, i eas very over weight from 1992 to 1998. when i started i was 188lbs but i started taking a diet supplement in 2001. buy 2002, and walking every morning and evening i lost 58bls and down to a size 10 and weight 147. but now I'm eating healthy and exercising, i weight myself once a week, snd i like the scale that.i got it tells me everything. and.my weight is the same as it was back then, i just saw you're video and will give it a try for the next few weeks, and your handsome Samoans are beautiful. 😊

I've only just found your channel after feeling that, as I have problems getting onto and up from the floor, chair yoga might be a good fit for me in my quest to improve my mobility and stamina. I have to say, I absolutely love these classes! I combine them with a walking workout, using these classes as a cool down and stretch, and they leave me feeling energized and relaxed. I'm already noticing a difference in my mobility and posture so thank you!
