    This yoga class is led by Sue, a certified yoga instructor. Sue is 200 hour YTT trained, Thai yoga massage certified, Reiki certified Level 1 and 2.

    Thank you for a lovely slow-paced video. I am not a senior, but have dizziness and RA pain. Your voice was gentle and your descriptions of how to do the poses were excellent.

    I have really enjoyed these videos - they're very much about breathing and stretching with a very lovely infusion of spirituality. I have found they really translate into my regular day. My breathing has really improved under stress!

    Thank You Sue, I am doing all your Yoga classes online ! Your voice is soothing , thank you ! I used to go out to a advanced chair yoga class for seniors ( pre covid ) . Now I have started doing all my yoga classes online , yours is one of my favorite !

    i really thank you for this. i am having nerve pain in my legs, I can hardly walk but this really helps. i hope to do this for a month or so and then try more. again. thank you for helping me deal with my pain.

    Wonderful experience!! I am 68 and I have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for twenty years. CFS comes and goes so attending a class is difficult. Your Chair Yogurt is perfect.

    Repeat this out loud in front of a mirror twice a day while smiling and nodding your head up and down, because you are agreeing with your affirmations.
    1. Every decision I make is supported by my whole and inarguable experience.
    2. I affirm and encourage others, as I do myself.
    3. I alone hold the truth of who I am.
    4. I am allowed to ask for what I want and what I need.
    5. I am allowed to feel good.
    6. I am capable of balancing ease and effort in my life.
    7. I am complete as I am, others simply support me.
    8. I am content and free from pain.
    9. I am doing the work that works for me.
    10. I am good and getting better.
    11. I am growing and I am going at my own pace

    I don’t think too many seniors could do the hand and feet both on floor at same time.
    Or maybe it’s just me.

      Thank you for your feedback Hilda! There are some modifications you might want to explore. Using blocks underneath your hands gives more support. Or folding part way and not fully, keeping the hands on the thighs . Everyone’s body is different and won’t look exactly like the poses in the video. I appreciate the feedback and will keep this in mind in future videos to include more suggested modifications! 🙏🏻💕

      I agree that the stretch to floor, to blocks or whatever, is way too ambitious for many older folks. Maybe after weeks of practice. If I were flexible enough to reach floor I would do regular yoga. But thanks to

    What does Namaste mean?

      Hi Sandra, this is a great question. I'm going to give my understanding, and welcome others to post their interpretation as well. The literal meaning of namaste is *bow to you. It's used as a greeting. On another level it's often used in yoga to acknowledge and recognize the light in another person, that my inner self sees and honors your inner self, and that we share that light in common.
