This yoga class is led by Sue, a certified yoga instructor. Sue is 200 hour YTT trained, Thai yoga massage certified, Reiki certified Level 1 and 2.

Wonderful experience!! I am 68 and I have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for twenty years. CFS comes and goes so attending a class is difficult. Your Chair Yogurt is perfect.

I don’t think too many seniors could do the hand and feet both on floor at same time.

Thank you for your feedback Hilda! There are some modifications you might want to explore. Using blocks underneath your hands gives more support. Or folding part way and not fully, keeping the hands on the thighs . Everyone’s body is different and won’t look exactly like the poses in the video. I appreciate the feedback and will keep this in mind in future videos to include more suggested modifications! 🙏🏻💕
I agree that the stretch to floor, to blocks or whatever, is way too ambitious for many older folks. Maybe after weeks of practice. If I were flexible enough to reach floor I would do regular yoga. But thanks to
you for this.

What does Namaste mean?
Hi Sandra, this is a great question. I'm going to give my understanding, and welcome others to post their interpretation as well. The literal meaning of namaste is *bow to you. It's used as a greeting. On another level it's often used in yoga to acknowledge and recognize the light in another person, that my inner self sees and honors your inner self, and that we share that light in common.
