Didnt a fnaf pro say that fnaf 2 isnt always possible if you get the worst luck? Even if you play perfectly? I think Ambience was his name in the fnaf guide he made.
I have to imagine Bones5 was getting ready to finish up his UCN video, went through hell and terrible bad luck trying to finish his FNaFlocke, then stopped and said "No...a full video talking about how terrible the luck can get in FNaF max modes is more important..." and I am completely here for it. 😂
So animatronics NEVER move basically. FNAF 1 you'd have to run out of power and have Freddy kill you, as the best luck allows you to survive like an hour after. FNAF 2 you'd have to let Puppet's music box wind down, and as said in this video, Puppet still has that grace period where it will possibly wait before leaving, so best luck = never moves, so probably not. FNAF 3 Springtrap would just never move unless you use the lure on him, and phantoms wouldn't spawn. FNAF 4 actually would be possible due to multiple animatronics, Nightmare Freddy is a counter, Nightmare Foxy WILL kill you if you do not turn around from the bed for an extended time, Nightmare FredBear/Nightmare/Nightmarionne all kill you if you idle too long. Sister Location, assuming you're talking about Private Room, maybe Funtime Foxy would move due to being a timer and not movement opportunity based, I may be wrong on that, but everyone else would likely not attack. FNAF 6, the animatronics would either not move or always move away from the Office, but the salvage minigame could be arguable. UCN... Puppet, Nightmarionne, Chica, Nightmare Bonnie/Mangle and Circus Baby, Funtime Foxy (maybe), Lefty, Music Man, and maybe a few others would be able to attack due ro being player reliant instead of random reliant. Not sure how Easter eggs would be treated, I figured Golden Freddy poster always appears in the worst luck, as that is indeed bad luck if you have him in the Office, same with Shadow Bonnie, so those two would never appear if you consider them threats and alter the randomness to them. I'm likely missing context and some conditions of characters that are/aren't rng based, but that is all what I can think.
@@panicwolf8586 Funtime Foxy is a yes short of 0-frame flips (although IIRC that's more used on the plushtronics than Foxy). He always attacks on the hour, so the best you could do is probably not necessarily make it the absolute latest possible but the most advantageous--depends on if you can force a single-hour night instead of two, and if that first/only one is at 3-4AM while the possible second is okay at 6AM over 5AM. Is Shadow Bonnie an issue in the office in FNAF 2? I know what you mean with Golden Freddy in FNAF 1 (worst means it's always there in the closet, best means never), but I'm not aware of how SB affects FNAF2.
Without watching the video, my initial thought is that if the pattern is fixed, it's easier than if those unlucky moments were still somewhat random. Idk how to explain it, it's like how someone once said that Bonnie in FNaF1 on 19 AI is technically harder cause there's a chance he won't leave the door as soon as his next movement opportunity comes; but in this case it's kinda that you can acquire the knowledge of how everything will go wrong and how you can adapt and learn to deal with it, unlike if it would happen randomly in different scenarios. But honestly, since we are talking about FNaF here, and it's more like a timer simulator, I honestly not sure which one is more troublesome, so I'm really interested in this video
You're right that adding some uncertainty makes it harder, but it's not practical for the sake of this video. You would then be adding randomness to remove luck which stops making sense and it's not clear how that would be programmed into a new mod. You could just play 19/19/19/19 or whatever instead, it wouldn't have to be a video about removing luck. Also, I think 'worst luck' doesn't have to mean 'hardest combination of RNG' possible. If we agree that an animatronic succeeding a movement opportunity is the worst outcome of their movement RNG, then them succeeding all of them can still constitute 'worst luck' even if it's easier than having some randomness
Ironically the unluckiest position you could be in is a 1 AI Bonnie, and Chica at your door. They only have a 1/20 chance to attack or leave, so they'll just sit there. Wasting your doors power. The optimal way to ensure you survive is to close the door on every single movement opportunity.
Using miracle matter's boss fight gets off the exact feeling of frantic reactions it requires. You are just fantastic at choosing music for every occasion
I was looking to see if someone had commented this. Miracle Matter is driving and intense, it really was the perfect pick. Also, this is Kirby, not FNaF, but have you ever noticed that the "Bum! Ba-Bum!" sound in MM is the same as Meta Knight's boss theme from Super Star?
Taking a break from the Fnaf challenges is well-deserved and we'll fully support you throughout. I say do some rides on your motorcycle to unwind at night time and you could even record them! (I thought about this after watching some videos of people post late-night motorcycle rides during night rain to help people fall asleep or just relax)
The thing about the worst possible luck possible is that everything is going to be basically scripted. Because everybody is going to move to the same spots and at a consistent time (aside from fnaf 1)
Pretty much so you could actually calculate based on the intervals alone whether or not it's possible before even playing. That's assuming the Animatronics have a fixed path they take every time tho and I know about the movement opportunities but not if they move closer every time on a fixed path.
I think the bigger picture here with the "unluckiest run" is not that it becomes a script and might even be more consistent albeit more mechanically challenging, its to see whether or not you can lose the game and die just because of luck and rng even if you play perfectly, as because in fnaf 3 its revealed that given enough unluckiness, it becomes literally physically impossible to win, literally a TAS couldn't win, but the other games stayed beatable. Plus he did add a 50/50 scenario for fnaf1 so it didnt end up being a script
Arguably the worst luck possible in fnaf 1 would be where Bonnie and chica only succeed on movements at your doors once your door is open; albeit this doesn’t apply to 4/20
The only problem with this is that you actually know what all the values/luck is set to so you can work around it, as apposed to a normal run where these things just happen without the players knowledge. So in making the unluckiest playthough, you actually removed all the luck entirely.
Bro seeing you sitting there for those past 30-40 seconds after toy bonnie got in the vent had my heart beating out my chest. Literally jumped when the night ended. So happy you succeeded with that one.
TheBones5: "The unluckiest player in videogaming history" Also TheBones5: "So today I'm going to handicap myself by modding the games to have the worst possible luck"
The only thing I know is that FNAF Pizzeria Simulator will be impossible. The animatronics have a chance to choose whether or not they'll JUMPSCARE you, and there's no way to prevent that due to the permanent 10% chance.
Maintenance panel math is wrong; Springtrap will INSTANTLY go for the kill with the panel open AND if he has SUCCESSFULLY entered your office, NOT a second or 0.5 seconds.
I just wanna place my bets here, before watching the vid: FNAF 1 - Possible, but might be harder than it seems, maybe requires Foxy-kill\ FNAF 2 - Possible with Minus 7 FNAF 3 - Possible, but only with FGP FNAF 4 - Not sure, but I could see it being impossible FNAF SL - Possible FFPS - No idea, could go either way UCN - Technically possible (unless I'm forgeting something), but barely/not humanly possible
FNAF 4 in theory should be possible, as Foxy has no way of tracking which door you're going to/looking at, only if you're at the opposite door when he's in the hall. It's just a matter of A.) always selecting the right hall and B.) reaching that hall in time to not get jumped by Bonnie/Chica. As for NIghtmare...that's a bit tougher. Given that their movement to the doors is always silent and that worst luck means they move at the first possible chance, you do in theory have enough time to check both doors but idk if you'd have time to check the doors PLUS get back to the bed in time for the next attack. And that's not even mentioning the laughs, though if fake laughs always happen then maybe you only have to check on the real laugh intervals.
21:19 You would get better mouse movement if your mouse cord wasn't draped off your desk like that. I personally use a mouse bungee. I use the one from Glorious, same company where that mouse you have is form. I would say do some makeshift tests to see if it actually makes any difference for you first. Have it to where when you pull your mouse back from the top all the way down that there is zero cord drag. And have a wonderful day, keep up the grind
I got bad luck trying to beat nightmare in FNAF 4 bc right when 4 AM came, Chica’s kill timer was high enough to stay during the nightmare segment and as I heard nightmare laughed I checked the bed and BAMN Chica’s cupcake got me (I COULD’VE WON TOO)
@@HerpsmoRumas of now I’ve just beaten nightmare mode not only unlocking the cheats but 4/20 mode and I went in blind with all cheats on and now it’s gonna be a pain. (Btw I AM NOT going to beat 4/20 with the cheats, I just wanted to know how it is and how the characters work, in which I’ve already known)
I think this time because we always know what actions the animatronics are gonna take (the worst ones), it eliminates rng at the cost of being more mechanically challenging, since you can’t pray for mercy if you make a mistake. At least it’s 100% consistent
FNaC 3 but better got an update and might have made the cat & rat all challenges much harder than before with the new nightmare difficulty. Anyways great video! I really enjoyed it :>

Considering I guessed yellow red yellow for how possible this was i was pleasantly surprised with FNAF 2. Regardless absolutely insane gameplay, truly its awesome watching someone who is absolutely CRANKED at specific games/challenges.
This is just TheBones5 playing Fnaf normally so it shouldn’t be hard at all Also can’t wait until TheBones5 fully completes Chuck E. Cheese’s, I know it’s coming.
One tip I give you about the FNAF 1 challenge and which easily made me end the night with 27% power, and also made me beat the shooter's greenrun record, is that usage is only checked every second of the night , that is, if you have more than 1 usage at intervals of 1 second it doesn't matter, as long as you have 1 usage in the exact second of the check, you can manage this using the nighttime counter on the shooter's timer(the first check is exactly when the night start), so In short you will only leave the doors closed during intervals and the same with the lights and the camera, maybe you already knew this but I hope it helped, 1 usage for the whole night will make you end up with 28.7%.
For FNAF 1, you could combat the desynced intervals by intentionally looking at Pirate Cove to pause Foxy's timer. Judging from the video, you would only have to do this once per night for ~500 units sometime around 3 AM. Assuming you do this successfully, just check the cameras when Foxy's interval is at 500 instead of 0. The hardest part now becomes not overshooting/undershooting the ~500 units on Pirate Cove. You would only have to do this once, and with enough practice, I think you could pull it off (assuming you stay on pace for power).
This technically isn’t the worst luck Animatronics like Bonney and Chica in fnaf 1 could fail the movement opportunity to leave your door, couldn’t they? Not on 4/20 mode, but if they have AI levels below 20 they could theoretically always get perfect movement opportunities except at your door
Fnafs movement counter is all on one counter. Different from toy bonnie never moving from the vent in Fnaf 2. It would then be 4/19 mode instead of 4/20 mode, which isn't the max mode
I couldn't believe this channel started uploading so recently, it has such nice vibes to it, and it feels like no AI, clickbait or pointless talking to extend video duration were used throughout.
Hey Bones! As a huge fnaf fan, it’s very fun to see you do all of these soul crushing challenges with fnaf 😅, this comment probably won’t reach you but I’d really like to see you do a challenge maybe with Tyke and Sons Lumber Co. It’s one of the more interesting fnaf fan games in my opinion and it would be really cool to see you do a challenge with it!!!
The slight interval difference in fnaf 1 is probably to remove the feeling of intervals being there at all. If it's just slightly off the 5 second mark and slightly different for each character, they eventually desynchronize and the movements will feel very random.
From what I remember of SmallAnt’s worst luck Pokémon run, everything becomes way, way harder, but since it’s always the same luck, it becomes completely, 100% consistent, so if it’s at all possible, a strategy can eventually be found, and you can always try something and tweak it just slightly with little variance (just your reaction speed affecting the timing of things) Basically you’re playing scripted fnaf, you just gotta follow the script to win
I subscribed when you beat fnaf4 without doors, because i absolutely love the way you think and explain the game. you gave me tips i never knew and it helped me beat the games. Def watching your videos.

the way your duel with rat and cat actually helped you against fnaf 2 is actually awesome, feels like every video is part of a journey!
Technical FNAF fascinates me deeply, I'm absolutely floored by the amount of detail that goes into your strategies and the skill you demonstrate.
This isn’t even a worse luck run this is just an average TheBones5 playthrough
It is a worst luck run AND an average TheBones5 playthrough
I think you should do the same thing but opposite, so you would have the best rng and try to lose
W idea
Actually good idea
@panicwolf8586 nice analysis still would be cool to see bones do a vid on this tho.
25:02 Hey this time you actually did tamper with the animatronics. what do you know?
@ it actually is huh? Never really thought of that before
The bones already has to deal with this already this is just him playing the game normally ngl
That's assuming the Animatronics have a fixed path they take every time tho and I know about the movement opportunities but not if they move closer every time on a fixed path.
he literally added a 50/50 in fnaf 1 specifically so it would not be scripted
Worst possible luck doesn't always mean fastest route or guarantee movement
So in making the unluckiest playthough, you actually removed all the luck entirely.
yea but the point to see if it's even doable worst case scenario or if the game can just screw you over
that's true but also despite you acknowledge it, you couldn't do anything. like in fnaf 3 you're just dead
FNAF 3 here is just how William would act canonically. He isn't waiting to kill this time after FIVE WHOLE NIGHTS

I love how all timestamps are small, and then there's fnaf 2
HONEY, THEBONES5 IS TOTURING HIMSELF AGAIN.
I just wanna place my bets here, before watching the vid:
FNAF 1 - Possible, but might be harder than it seems, maybe requires Foxy-kill\
FNAF 2 - Possible with Minus 7
FNAF 3 - Possible, but only with FGP
FNAF 4 - Not sure, but I could see it being impossible
FNAF SL - Possible
FFPS - No idea, could go either way
UCN - Technically possible (unless I'm forgeting something), but barely/not humanly possible
FFPS is either yellow possible or impossible.

I find it funny how 2 is possible, considering how everyone says it’s rng based.

This is my favourite of your videos just because I love technical fnaf and this changes how the game is played entirely. Can't wait for part 2!
18:39 “FIFTEEN COUNT EM FIFTEEN SECONDS” LMAO idk why this is so funny to me
For FNAF 1, you could combat the desynced intervals by intentionally looking at Pirate Cove to pause Foxy's timer.
Thought you did this every run anyway lmao, great video! Great job on the mods brayden! Have a nice vacation!
A bit later, and some secrets uncovered, and now all 3 games are possible with the worst RNG.
19:10 As a mario kart speedrunner and online player, I speak up for the community to say “thanks for adding this banger to the vid”
This technically isn’t the worst luck
Animatronics like Bonney and Chica in fnaf 1 could fail the movement opportunity to leave your door, couldn’t they?
Not on 4/20 mode, but if they have AI levels below 20 they could theoretically always get perfect movement opportunities except at your door
Keyword, the worst luck on the MAX MODES. 4/19 isn't a maxmode, even if it is theoretically harder/more unlucky.

It’s one of the more interesting fnaf fan games in my opinion and it would be really cool to see you do a challenge with it!!!
babe wake up!!! new bones5 chapter of downwards insanity!
The slight interval difference in fnaf 1 is probably to remove the feeling of intervals being there at all. If it's just slightly off the 5 second mark and slightly different for each character, they eventually desynchronize and the movements will feel very random.
"What could possible go wrong?" -Bubsy, 1992
From what I remember of SmallAnt’s worst luck Pokémon run, everything becomes way, way harder, but since it’s always the same luck, it becomes completely, 100% consistent, so if it’s at all possible, a strategy can eventually be found, and you can always try something and tweak it just slightly with little variance (just your reaction speed affecting the timing of things)
Basically you’re playing scripted fnaf, you just gotta follow the script to win
