I made a mistake at 12:57, the animatronics move if the number generated is lower than the animatronics AI value, not higher. I can't believe I've said this in so many videos and forgot it here
I noticed that I missed two entries in this video on tier 5, I'll cover them in part two.
Also flumpty’s is made in game maker, not clickteam, my bad
Expect part 2 to come out either after the next challenge video, or after the UCN video, depending on how far along the UCN animation is by that point.

With how people see Markiplier celebrate after all his "custom night" modes, we have to remember when he completed them, the games were still new. A lot of the new strategy to beat the 7th nights a lot easier were not around when people first played the game when they came out. That's also the reason why people see them as hard, the easy strategies weren't known yet.

I can't really blame people for thinking fnaf 2 max mode is impossible, on a game design standpoint, the game sucks horribly; you shouldn't need a freaking timer, use exploits, and all of this hidden knowledge in order to defeat the challenge, especially since golden freddy isn't even capped correctly, the actual 10/20 is much less agonizing.

Also post shift 2 is flat hard to beat, a completely different sentence from "this is the hardest challenge mode". There are VERY different ways of measuring the difficulty of a game, and using just this ONE interpretation to laugh at it being considered the hardest is flat stupid and elitist.
I don't really care about whether it is the hardest by any metric, I just hate how the list made is just flat wrong because it only cares about one single aspect to claim multiple games are harder therefore it can't be the hardest. I am sure you can pick any souls game in the soulsborne series and find a way it is the most difficult, because Dark Souls 2 is simultaneously one of the easiest to no-hit and beat outright, and the hardest to no hit if you beat ALL bosses.

hey bones, i think you didn't to chickeninja justice in the PS2 part
if you remember his video, the main point of it was to show how hard the game is because of how bad it was at explaining what to do, and the main challenge of the run was to beat it without googling and asking anyone about it, going off of just what the game tells him
even though it might be easier than a lot of games when you have a cheese strat, it definitely hits way harder without one - something that can't be said about some of the more known fan games in the list, like the FNAC series

13:20 TBF those videos were talking specifically about being the hardest fan game if going in blind. Much of Post Shift 2's difficulty is merely how obtuse it is to work out the mechanics on your own from the bad game descriptions. It's still definitely hyperbole, but it does contextualize where a lot of the difficulty came from.

While I get your reasoning for the dissection of "Markiplier is the king of Fnaf", it really feels like you are downplaying how impressive it was at the time.
Just because we now 10 years later know how the games works in and out, doesn't mean that Marks feats weren't impressive, and especially for the time. Just because we know of several strats now that render it very manageable, doesn't mean it isn't impressive. I think it's impressive he did it without an in-depth knowledge of the technical aspect as we do now, and he has the moniker more because of his consistency in being able to do these, while also at the same time it being uncommon for people to do this

    • @slavprinceuro
      @slavprinceuro 8 месяцев назад +29

I agree, it really is sad how little he really considers this and is definitely throwing in as much about mark in there as he can for his own gain too, including eluding to him somehow faking his 10/20 completion. I'm noticing that Bones does definitely have the ego of someone who got into fnaf well after all these strats came out so now all he has to do is study the work that other people did for him, and that somehow makes him the best and all knowing or the one who decides what is and isn't impressive with total disregard for the differences in time periods. Him downplaying the whole Markiplier thing is like downplaying the moon landing as easy and not much of an accomplishment because now we have technology 100x more advanced than the computers they used to get there in the first place.

@TheBones5 after reading the document and seeing markipleirs video I do unfortunately that the fnaf 2 allegation probably might be true, though all it really does is just make my day worse as I doubt this'll be a huge controversy. I still think that just because you beating the fnaf 1 20/20/20/20 with the old strategy changes anything. Sure it is an easy strategy but that doesn't discredit his achievement there, I know and agree that when comparing purely skill that markiplier isn't that good, but he still beat fnaf 1s max mode, and even with that strategy someone not as experienced as you would still probably find it challenging. I tried my best to make a fair argument and stuff, I do not mean any ill will as I do genuinely agree that his fnaf 2 max completion is iffy , when compared to when he beat fnaf 1, and that by skill he isn't the king of fnaf. But I disagree of discrediting his genuine accomplishment, even if it is easy today or as easy as it was back when fnaf 1 realeased, it is still a max mode completion.

The 3rd star is definitely the weakest point, as he could have just done 4/20 as a warmup or whatever. We don’t know. The problem with post shift 2 isn’t that it’s the absolute peak of fnaf fan game difficulty. It’s the fact that it’s pretty high up there, for every single night. There isn’t one insanely hard max mode challenge, the game itself is just difficult.
If for example you instead created a general difficulty list that was just based off of beating the primary nights and ignored any additional challenges and max modes ps2 would probably be very high on that list.

I’m really surprised nobody says anything about it but you don’t need to have your mouse over toy Freddy nose in fnaf 2 while doing CD+ you can have your mouse anywhere. Also, you don’t need to hold the buttons for a certain amount of time, it only activates when ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘+’ are held at the same time

7:22 - Another mistake TechRulez made in his video in regards to Foxy, is that on Night 6, Foxy’s AI level is 6, not 16.

@@namesmitt Personally, that wasn't as bad of a mistake since anyone who actually played the game would have known that was wrong, whereas the mistake of saying Foxy's A.I. on Night 6 was 16 wouldn't have been as obvious.

@@FusionCyborg That’s a good point. Another thing he got wrong was saying Freddy’s cam cooldown couldn’t be reset

I spent an hour and a half on pre nerf night 4 and was very happy to have my gold star showing I completed it before the patch. so aggrivating. the springlocks would just go all the way loose with like. 2 shakes.
