Demon Hunters shouldn't be tanks

Tier lists never impact what I play. There’s classes I like to play and classes I don’t. What I like about them is it tells me how good the classes I like to play are feeling right now in Beta/PTR. It helps me either have hope or no hope at all.

got back into the game at the end of june, hadn't played since legion, but super missed mythic plus dungeons, got my first bullion and cape was one of my worst items so i bought it absolutely not noticing the lack of stam, thankfully someone told me a few days later

checking back in--- Max wanted Season 4 for cooking..... there was absolutely no cooking. and no balance tuning. garbage season.

The problem with tierlists are not the tier lists itself but the idiots that take it too serious and become toxic to other classes. These people cannot form an opinion for themselves and all they have to go off of are the tierlists. Also, as you guys also accepted, tierlists are trash and you all do it strictly for views because you like to use idiots for views.

Never forget the days of seeing a geared out player in WoW and whispering them about their talents and rotation. Lol.

I was forced to tank for 2 Xpacs Straight due to all the other tanks just leaving like mad. I constantly referred it to prison, so If I want to wear two Damage trinkets to feel something while playing that dogshit role I will. When I died because of no cheat death trinket everyone got to enjoy a little bit of my prison sentence along with me.

It’s the social aspect. Games are most fun when your buddies are playing a new hot game and talking about it. MMO players want a new game to be a wow killer so they can know if their social group might switch games or they may migrate to find that new social hub.

On the cheat death trinket topic, thats why paladin tanks were so OP in wotlk and wotlk classic. They just had a built in cheat death passive in their talent tree. In cata they reworked it to be an active ability where you had to predict when you were in danger of dying.

i love Max's "class expert" takes on the specs. What is new, what is the hype, what is dog or how does the new set bonus's play out for the specs.

tww will destrroy a lot of the appeal of dmg trinkets for tanks with that 35% nerf - but man would it feel bad not to play dmg trinkets on smolderon or some of the easy fights where its literally impossible to die as tank with somewhat good gear - i dont mind running cheat death - but after you didnt procc it 100 trys... beside making the wipe call 10 seconds longer with it -.-

I really miss the time when having a main was a thing. Now leveling and gearing alts easier than ever and all of the specs have such good quality guides (and are streamlined enough) that if you are not rerolling each season you are just intentionally playing sub-optimal choice and I dont like that. I want to play one class (preferably even one spec) and become good at that one thing, but now I just have hollow characters who mean nothing to me on random servers that mean nothing to me. Of course I could dust off my Shaman who I played religiously for a decade, but then doing stuff just becomes unnecessary struggle. Rather just play something like Aug that just gets into every group.

Dratnos is and always will be the comedy relief.

Dratnos reading bed time patch notes to me is how I"ve fallen asleep every night this week.

People are psychologically damaged from WoW (this is an overly simple conclusion - of course one cannot blame the needle for their addiction). They cannot imagine turning the game off without the game itself dying. To many, WoW is a piece of themselves. To jump ship is not to cheat on WoW but one’s self. Therefore, the game to replace it must be the WoW killer.

The thing about the modern warfare progression that dratnos brought up is weird because if anyone who has played mw2(2009) will tell you no one gave 0 fucks about prestiging and game was just fun overall to play from level 1 to level 70. Everything was broken so nothing was more OP compared to everything only like very slightly better. Game was just fun to play from start to finish.

I will comment that the reason people want a game that’s going to stick and be THEIR game is because most of us don’t have the time to play multiple games so we want something that will be satisfactory as our main game.

nono its true, I actually love the grindset mindset. I look forward to long grinds for progression just like how Runescape works out

I played a lot during DF release, but I didn’t dive deep into the rep grind. I figure it’d be replaced by a +5. To those who like it, good for you.

One of the thing with tier lists, is, as a guy with kids and limited game time. It can be extremely helpful to get a small snapshot of the relative viability of a spec or class. Something I do not have time to play test myself. Give me a snapshot so I can make a semi educated guess on what is complete trash or not.

Actually wild to hear other tanks worry more about dps and not staying alive. Tbh I only grab a dpsntrinket when I know I can survive without assistance. Then it makes sense but then the not taking gore fiends or abom is absolutely wild

i love meta acchivement and all that, i really love taking my time and doing alot of diffrent stoff :D but deffendly also some of the harder content like raids and mytic + ;)
