Dratty, as someone who has horrible teeth issues genetically, I know that you could maybe be self conscious about your situation, but I promise that most people don't care really at all! And you're such a good and likeable dude that leaning into it for the time being until you get a replacement would be very funny and wholesome. There's been a long line of public figures and entertainers with temporarily missing front teeth, and it only endeared folks more to them, so add yourself amongst that list!

I wish they'd de-anonymize the players in MDI a bit for us casual viewers. Maybe display their actual character name in the UI rather than arxloltwo. Maybe a flag showing which country they're from to get viewers from that country something to latch on to. Or some short player/team profile interviews before the matches.

Back to back ace procs in a crackshot windows as outlaw is so satisfying. Least satisfying is outlaw when you get no procs, run out of energy, and have to wait 3 seconds just to press sinister strike once.

Chain harvest on enhance shaman during shadowlands felt SO GOOD, especially when it applied flame shock to its targets aswell

the most satisfying button to press is a good spellreflect that deals like 3 million dmg from a abilty that should need a tank defensive or a kick - like pulling the fire mage in everbloom while rest of group isnt in range and reflect the fire cast or the bossreflects in waycrest manor - that little datch sound and a big jump in details to dps lvls of dmg - so good ;D

As someone who plays every class currently (M+ mostly) I can tell you what the feel good buttons are for most specs.
WW Monk - Spinning Crane Kick with Dance of Chi-Ji proc
Havoc DH - Eye Beam, Also for me Death Sweep-Meta-Death Sweep while Innertia and Essence Break are up feels good.
Retri Pally - Wake of Ashes
Holy Pally - Divine Toll
Unholy DK - spamming Epidemic on big pulls
Feral Druid - Convoke, multiple free Ferocious Bites procs in a row.
Surv Hunter - Fury of the Eagle, Kill Shots during Coordinated Assault procs
Devoker - Pyre spam or Disintegrate spam with lots of Essence Burst procs, Fire Breath on big pulls.
Disc Priest - not a single button but PW:Radiance into Mindbender into Penance into Mind Blast and pulling your group HP up like crazy.
Fury Warr - none, sadly
Outlaw Rogue - Between the Eyes procs spam
Ele Shammy - AoE Lava Bursts ofc
Frost Mage - none
Arcane Mage - Arcane Barrage spam on AoE with lot of Arcane Orb procs
Demo Lock - Free Dreadstalkers proc, 10+ Implosions

The Hunt on smolderon as a tank jumping out with debuff and then using the hunt to get back to boss while threading the needle between all fire tornados
in terms of buttons i really like a well times spirit bloom from a preservation evoker, just shoots out and ricochets to many targets
On topic of satisfying buttons on blood dk 1 out of 10 death strike is like that (more in big pulls) when you time it and heal for like 70% of your hp bar but 9 out of 10 are just death strikes for the sake of not overcapping rp, maintenance buffs or low heal since you are not taking that much dmg.
voidform feels amazing to press, but I wish it like, still had the whole legion/bfa ramping style to it etc
Tranquility is a feel-good button and a half. Especially back in MoP when it seemed to heal through everything.
Been there done that - happened on a skittles, took some time to fix and I got my dignity back. Now its just a blip in a distant memory. So don’t worry too much.
22:32 I dunno, I’m someone who gets annoyed at seeing the same comp in every dungeon, and I think one of the ways around that is to allow some of the more exploit-y strats. If (for example) hunter pulling mobs through a wall means we get a hunter in one dungeon of the MDI when we wouldn’t get one otherwise, I think that’s great!
I loved the Patroen question so much that I had to think about it and make a list of my personal favorites buttons or things about each class here it goes:
DK: Frostwyrm's Fury, Army of the Dead
DH: The Hunt, Eye Beam
Druid: Full Moon
Evoker: Dragonrage or even lust hearing a massive dragon rawr is hype
Hunter: Beastial Wrath, Explosive shot
Mage: Meteor,Glacial Spike, Arcane Surge
Monk: Strike of the Windlord
Paladin: Avenging wrath, Wake of Ashes
Priest: Ultimate Penitence,Divine Hymn, Shadow Apparations (not really a button but god dam they look cool)
Rogue: Roll the Bones, Kingsbane, Secret Technique
Shaman: Ascendance has to be one of the best things in wow but implemented so badly but you still get the hit of indorphins when it happens
Warlock: Seed of Currption, Nether Portal, Tyrent, Inferno, Chaos Bolt
Warrior: Thunderous Roar, Bladestorm, THICC Executes
I was just thinking that it wasn't really Monday and then this showed up...

Buttons that feel great to press imo:
Warlock: Infernal, Cataclysm, Soul Rot, Implosion
Paladin: Divine Toll
Priest: Any holy word, a nice setup of aoe dots for a big aoe pull
Druid: Incarn?
Mage: Frozen orb?
Warrior: Shockwave
DH: Eye Beam, buffed dash?
Monk: Explosive Keg + Fire Breath combo, Ring of Peace
Evoker: Big Fire Breath, Deep Breath
Shaman: Stormkeeper + Chain Lightnings
Hunter: Barrage
Rogue: No idea
DK: Mass grip and frostwyrm's fury
Def agree with 99% of these, but I'd actually argue Implosion could use a lot of visual flair upgrades on the imps exploding. It feels inherently good because you're doing insane damage, and seeing the imps fly in is very funny, but maybe some sort of visual pop or sound effect on the mobs when they implode would take it up to a 10/10
mage is hitting a nice cast/cancel block within 0.01 seconds to block a single hit, like blocking the winds on mythic raszageth. Or just making your healer wet as fuck with a juicy alter.
Rogue: BtE and Secret Technique.
Rogue Secret Technique for sure. You start ramping your dmg with dance and then have a big payoff with sectec
Paladin main here: Ret- Wake of ashes, TV with wings up. Prot- fully stacked SotR, Avengers shield chain procs, blessed hammer (reminds me of d2 hammerdin so that might just be me)
Holy- idk I suck ass at healing.
CE for ret and prot but my god I can't heal for shit
Ascendence is my ideal feel-good healing cd. Splash heals everywhere, people are topped, and you can just spot heal and spill heals all over the place. Especially in arena with spirit walker's, it feels like you go from defensive to agressive.
So the most satisfying button to press in WoW imo has been Chaos Bolt since it came out, knowing its going to crit, that its going to do meaningful damage (for most of the life tuning cucked it sometimes), and a close second for me is deep breath on me Dev Evoker, lots of dam and the 3 sec stun when talented ooo baby

Question asked "how do we get RTWF level viewership"? Answer is that it would take a few steps. Primarily - high level promotion/sponsorship from Blizzard/Microsoft marketing the time trials qualifying rounds. Some change in presentation format away to make viewing more accessible and entertaining to NON-Players, this properly implemented with focus group studies etc would be game-changing (this applies to AWC as well, maybe even moreso). Character development for the players competing, interviews and peeling back the layers of what exactly is a competitive WoW player to get fans and viewers invested in watching and rooting for their favorite teams and players. Get a big sportsbar chain sponsorship to play it in their facilities to broaden exposure even more.
at like 21:50 where dratnos mentions viewers shouting "exploiting!" i just had a pang of sadness at jak(bcastin) and tettles getting flamed nonstop this season everytime they show off hidden "exploits" that usually only the top teams and players know about when all theyre doing is helping spread awareness of known strategies :(

imo pressing fury of the eagl when targets are below 60% hp is the most satisfying button to press its like eye beam but x10
secret technique with cold blood feels great to press
Divine Toll (prot), Full Moon and Glacial Spike are some awesome buttons in my opinion!!

best feeling button of all time: f&b chaos bolt from wod. nothing like 20 chaos bolts flying out. also lust feels great to press
My all time feel good button si probably Whirling Dragon Punch, no matter how shitty it is atm. Being locked in place to deliver that one big hit with an very impactful animation just hits different. And when you use it to cancel displacements the feeling just goes through the roof.
SLT has gotta be one of the most satisfying buttons in the game I'm pretty sure. I personally have a soft spot for Convoke the Spirits. And as derpy as it is to say for a rotational ability, I'm not even a warlock player, but Chaos Bolt just looks so sweet
What do you think about easier keys but more punishment for a death.
I draw a comparison to classic speedruns. Naxxramas wasn't hard, but dying meant that you lost your worldbuffs which kinda made you useless for the rest of the run.
So maybe just up the death penalty to 30s or something.
Dratty just needs to embrace the 10.2.6 look and show up as a pirate. Best cosplay with minimal effort.
RE feel-good buttons, gotta be BdK Death Strike. It’s super simple, but the first key you figure out how to Death Strike properly? That Halls of Atonement changed WoW for me

as a speedrunner who prefers no major glitch categories the only tech that should be banned in mdi is stuff that breaks coding in some way like pulling the 1st boss in everbloom out. while something like the tent in uld is clever use of the games environment
Yeah as long as it doesn't break the AI of the enemy, it should be allowed. I enjoy all speedruns. Major glitches and vanilla runs alike.
But for an MMO with 39 different specs you want that variety of strats and classes. If you wanna pull stuff through a wall, go for it. As long as no code is altered or the enemy AI isn't broken to make it a target dummy, you'll get a lot of different ideas.
@ShaolinPotato agree. Some of the best speedrunning tech are glitches (mario 64 has dozens) but they dont break the spirit of the game and in a lot of cases showcase what you can do with simple mechanics you might not normally think about

It sucks that the concept of "MDI strats" is slowly dying. One of my favorite parts of watching MDI was seeing the insane ways groups were able to "break" the game for time. Going to get to the point where MDI keys are more vanilla than live keys.

Single Buttons that I enjoy are Incarn, Grippy Hands. Execution Sentence feels like an In Combat Monolgue about how I'm kicking your ass. One of my favorites though isn't even used and that is Orbital Strike, FIRING MA LAZOR!

Best Singular button to press for me is Templar's Verdict. The whole animation just oozes pwoer, and then you see the hammer strike over your head. With This tier's bonus its even better when you see it go off twice, along with Divine Storm.

how bout this. They make dispelling a dot reward mana. Still annoying but in heroic pugs at least, 60% of healers are oom before p3. No idea what its like in mythic though.

Singular Buttons that feel good : Cataclysm and Mop combustion. Maybe Time to bring it back as a choice node. Would also give another niche.
Ive had the exact same issue as you Dratboy, had to remove and replace the tooth, it sucks but no one cares and you will be back as a whole again soon
Feels Good Button Number 1: Heroic Leap
It always feels good to use this ability and im so sad whenever i play a class like paladin which doesn't have leap. Even Demon Hunters Mobility doesn't feel so good for me.
Haha the sound effect for heroic leap bugs me when I'm not in combat, I tried to find a addon to turn it off.. Don't need to be hearing loud warcries while heroic leaping to the Valdrakken AH in the morning 😂😂

For me, the most satisfying button to press is a big, fat Death Strike as BDK, where you're at 5% hp and top yourself off with 1 press. It feels insanely good
