Everyday praying I didn't take the virus home to my family. On another side. I've had a gun pointed at me because a guy cut me off. I was able to go through a parking lot to get away from him. Didn't anticipate the guy would make the block and jump out his car yelling what ya gonna do now. People have no idea the risk we have to take everyday to deliver say 200 plus stops. I get it done with most days not getting a simple Thank You. Just alot of I got more furniture coming to my apartment on the fourth floor. All for purple promise.

Anyone that look down on others are the one beneath the others. Maybe they have more money then you, but the fact that they look down on you prove that they are lower in the brain department. No good peoples look down on others, because anyone with a good brain know that any jobs no matter how useless it may seem at first glance is important in some shape or form, if it was not, those job would not exist in the first place, since no one would want to spend money for job that is of not use."

Trucker here, so many of us out on the road, acting as America's economic backbone, don't feel the appreciation, and for you to even mention us, brings back some hope. We spend so much time away from our families so that every American can do their jobs, and have the things that they want. Thank you very much Tom
Thank you Tom your voice reaches out to us all ❤ I watched my dad support my sister and I work full time 8 to 5 mon - fri to put us through school, he barely had time to do things or spend time with us and my mom but he was a hard working man... he is my hero and finally retired last year. Any person who supports their family working long hours, even those who dont have a family, those working long hours struggling right now to live, you all are HEROS in my eyes. All the ones who build our roads, fix our power lines, work in nursing homes, etc all of you are heros! ❤
Extremely timely. Here in Texas, we're seeing this first hand. The linemen and clean up crews working long hours, in Texas heat, to get the power back on line. They've left their families behind to help other families in need right now. ❤❤❤
I spent 3 years delivering medication to hospice patients and nursing home patients. I showed up to people’s homes with a smile and a kind voice, because that is all I could offer. I had multiple families thank me for my actions. I was told in those dark days seeing someone like me arrive with a smile and a story or two showed respect and kindness. I changed jobs and still remember those folks.
Boggles my mind that people hate this man. He's over here inspiring us to be better humans, and showing gratefulness in every area of life. Much respect Tom!
My mom used to drive the school bus for the handicapped and special education students in the county school. I used to ride her bus to school if I wanted to sleep late, because the high school I attended was right across from the Middle School where the handicapped and special education students had their own school, a separate building from the Middle School, but on the same campus. She’d drop her students off at their school on the Middle School campus, and then take me across the road and let me off at the High School. I remember being picked on by some of my school mates hanging around outside the High School before the bell rang to head to your home room class. They were just joking around, of course, not trying to be mean, but still saying something about me riding the “short bus”. That was almost 40 years ago, and I still remember those children on mom’s bus, and how sweet and loving they were. One girl was in a wheelchair, and couldn’t speak, but she could understand everything you said to her. Her parents dressed her so pretty every day, and she would just grin from ear to ear when you told her how pretty she was. She had been left handicapped because of a school bus accident when she was younger, I believe. I remember one girl who was so funny because she called everyone “fart head”, and she would laugh so hard. That was my mom’s favorite bus route. She later took a bus route driving for the students in the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, because I think the special needs school on the Middle School campus was torn down, and and those students were relocated. It was a long time ago, and my memory isn’t as sharp as it once was. But I am thankful that I got to spend some time with those students, because they made a lasting impression on me, and I have a special affection towards people like them, because they are precious. It’s why I believe that all human life has tremendous value, and it should not matter if a babe in the womb has what this world calls a “defect” when it comes to them being “worthy” of life. All human life is important to God, made in His image, and that alone makes every human life “worthy” of being born. It’s not for us to decide which human life has value, and which doesn’t, and to even think that we should have that power to decide the value of another human life, or when it should end, is man trying to usurp God’s authority, and it’s wrong.
Giving a 3 minute and 34 second moment of appreciation to the people that make our communities function, safe, and moving forward. Thank you Tom MacDonald!
I'm a retired nurse and both of my grandson s are firefighters, EMTs and ones also a paramedic. When he's not at the fire house he's on an ambulance This song brought tears to my eyes. Everyday, working people are truly this country's heros. Thank you Tom McDonald for this song.

What makes it worse when ppl take it out on us cos they can’t afford food because of the why life is atm they don’t understand we’re only there so we can afford food for our families
This song made me weep. There is no longer pride and glory for the hard working blue collar backbone of this country. There is a young family next door to me, the father is a fabricator and part time mechanic. He works his ass off so his wife can stay home and raise their 3 boys. It gives me so much pride to see young people commit to good values and strong families, because we, families are under attack at ever turn. God bless every hard working red blooded American that reads this. My wife and I with our 6 boys pray for you every morning.
I’m a wounded veteran and my wife is active duty. Thank you for recognizing all the heroes out there who get little to no respect 🫡 Thank you for recognizing all our heroes at home who make our lives worth living. I think we all have those people in our lives. God Bless you all.
It's songs like this that puts Tom on top every single time he drops. It's people, like the commenters here, that are keeping America Great and will get us through these rough times.

Thank you, Tom and Nova! I retired with 21 years law enforcement. Started that at 42 years old. Before that I was a waitress, bartender, shrimper. Now I'm a great grandmother. So many people need this right now! You and Nova have great insight. This world is crazy so thanks for bringing some humanity to the forefront!🇺🇸🥰 Love this!
Absolutely phenomenal, moving song. Everyone should remember the important work being done by so many extraordinary people… in order for our safety, security, well being and daily comfort. Thank You -to all of You! And thanks Tom, for the Great song!
Thank you Tom. I'm a beef rancher in S.D.. Before that I was an oilfield worker and before that a carpenter. I have to say being a rancher is the hardest part of my career. Trying to feed a world that's convinced that I'm trying poison them and ruin the environment. I don't do it for the money because there's never enough. I do it for the animals, so they have the best life possible before they sacrifice their lives for us. I do it for the environment, trying to hold on to the last remaining piece of the American prairie. The two very things people are saying I'm hurting.
Don't listen to any of that noise. We need more ranchers and farmers that do things the way our forefathers did. W respect for the land and the animals. The gov and big corporations have sacrificed our health, happiness and planet, for money and power. Red meat has essential amino acids and other things we can't really get elsewhere. Almost everything mass produced is garbage, lacking nutrients due to the way it's farmed or processed, or its gmo, or full of synthetic garbage and fda approved poison. I've been keeping up w the crap the BLM and other branches of gov are doing to screw you guys. It's starting to get into the public eye. Hang in there, and know there are people out there fighting for you. You're not in this alone, even though I'm sure it feels like it. I haven't bought beef from a store in over 2yrs. I support local ranchers and butchers. The beef I get is so much tastier than store bought anyway.
I love that- “that they have the best life possible”. You’ll never get that on a big corporate mega farm. That can only be done by hard working independent farmers like you. 🫶
Thank you to those who do the nitty and gritty, and to those who do the smallest jobs. You don't ever get represented, shown, or celebrated in the ways that you deserve.
Proud to say, this song and video brought tears to my eyes.58 year old vet, I remember when this was the country we lived in. When our country and especially our politicians and even the media felt this way about our country. I pray that this video goes viral and changes the lives of those that watch it. Thank you.
It's sad that these people hardly get represented or shown because they're not seen as cool or important, when in reality they're some of the coolest people on the planet.
Thank you to the combat soldier who went into war before me. Thank you to the cop who stopped robber from robbing me one night 20 years ago at 3am in Kansas. Thank you to the sanitation worker who comes every Wednesday and gives me a brand new start to my week. Thank you to all the neighbors and people that take a stand against tyranny.
I have a cousin whom is a firefighter, a few cousins that are cops, and several family members that are either veterans or active duty. My father is one of the families veteran. Thank you for not only supporting our troops but also those who don't get the recognition they deserve. We love you Tom. ❤
I served 25 years in the Army, served in numerous war zones, and current Police officer. I want to truly thank you Tom for your gratitude, not for myself but for my comrades that never came home from foreign shores and the men and women who pin on the badge to help this country be a better place. To all the people that run to the danger and make this country great again, I salute you ! 🇺🇲
HVAC Installer here. Working long hours under houses and out in this 100 degree heat daily getting people cooling. It's rewarding. A smile on a face and a handshake keeps me going. I love this. But you never hear tradesmen talked about as heroes or really glamorized. We're just the grunts that make the world work. We don't get headline news spots like million dollar athletes arguing over how many millions they get that year. Thank Tom. It's a good song. Telling the daily people working hard that they're a hero helps. Sometimes we feel like dirt.
I had some solar installed years ago and as part of "the package" had some insulation installed in my attic. When I saw those guys putting on the head to toe suits and going into the already quite hot attic, I knew that even the home improvement and prior tech/installer type of work I did in the past paled in comparison to being covered like they were. I offered them ice cold Gatorades and had the a/c cranked up for 'em. So many of our population work these "behind the scenes" "cog of the machine" types of jobs (of various sorts) and it's wild to think about just how many moving parts there are to keeping society functioning how it needs to. From HVAC, electricians, and plumbers, to the engineers keeping vital networks and processing systems running around the country (and world), the honest, hard working folks are heroes. I've been in the attic and crawlspaces and certainly thank you and that industry for making our lives much more comfortable, especially in the deep south of South Carolina!! lol
Man this had me in tears too I work learning the diesel mechanic trade in the heat and its rough some days and I feel like giving up sometimes because I don't make much but I know if I stick with it and learn I will eventually make good money and my family needs me to keep working so I can't give up I got people who depend on me. Thanks for thinking of us ordinary people Tom MacDonald!!! Your awesome!
I was a rest area janitor for 6 1/2 years. I appreciate being thanked by people for cleaning after others. Had to end my job due to the heat and overwhelming work. This song made my day, Tom. Thank you
I wanted to say thank you for this song, Mr. Macdonald. I was in a near fatal car accident back in 2015 & a firefighter EMT saved me & pulled me the sunroof. Then handed me off to the medical EMTs & I was in a coma for a month. Doctors, nurses & certified nurse assistants care for me & kept me alive. Also had a cop help escorted the EMTs to a different hospital. I will always support the first responders, I am still alive & safe because of them. Thank you, to the first responders out there & to the fire fighter who got to me just in time.
This one hits home, my hubby retires in a couple weeks after 30 years as a carpenter, his body is wrecked, arthritis, back surgery, knee injections...the list goes on. He busted his ass for his family, he is our hero. Thank you for this tribute, they all deserve their flowers.

I am a delivery driver. Had to work through the pandemic when everything was shut down. We rolled on getting done.

I am a janitor. People often mock us for not being more. Sometimes it makes me sad that i'm considered a low citizen. But then i remember Lord Jesus Christ was born in a dirty place with animals, he was a mere carpenter, walked the earth as a poor and humble man. I wouldn't want it to be any different for myself.
Thanks for your song man, it means a lot ♥
Thank you for being a honest hardworking individual , we see ya 😎⚡😎
Anyone that look down on others are the one beneath the others. Maybe they have more money then you, but the fact that they look down on you prove that they are lower in the brain department. No good peoples look down on others, because anyone with a good brain know that any jobs no matter how useless it may seem at first glance is important in some shape or form, if it was not, those job would not exist in the first place, since no one would want to spend money for job that is of not use."
He was also homeless. Jesus said, "The foxes have holes, and the birds have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head."
You are not a low citizen! Thanks for all you do for the kids!
Why would anybody knock a janitor. I think anybody that does should have to do your job for 1 day. Thank you for everything you do!!

Wow…. What a message!!!! Tom, you have a God Given Gift!!! Give Him ALL the Glory!!!!
My husband just heard this song and it hit deep. He's a Naval veteran and now a truck driver. Thank you!
Thank you for what you do. Stay blessed.
Boggles my mind that people hate this man. He's over here inspiring us to be better humans, and showing gratefulness in every area of life. Much respect Tom!

I'm a school bus driver for special needs ❤ I'm truly blessed to be a part of these children's lives❤❤
@@dianejiminez1229 HERO🙏
I commend you for all you do for those children. YOU make a difference.
Bless you 🙏❤

This song made me weep. There is no longer pride and glory for the hard working blue collar backbone of this country. There is a young family next door to me, the father is a fabricator and part time mechanic. He works his ass off so his wife can stay home and raise their 3 boys. It gives me so much pride to see young people commit to good values and strong families, because we, families are under attack at ever turn. God bless every hard working red blooded American that reads this. My wife and I with our 6 boys pray for you every morning.

Thank you Tom as a trucker I appreciate the song
You are the voice of the forgotten men and women that make America work
Thank you Tom.
We across the nation to the Smokey Mountains here appreciate, love you and depend on you. You represent the best of us and thank you!
Thank you Tom. For being a voice for those who need it.

❤❤❤
I've been in the attic and crawlspaces and certainly thank you and that industry for making our lives much more comfortable, especially in the deep south of South Carolina!! lol
This gave me goosebumps. The line "doing jobs that would damage your ego", so true. Awesome song.
This is the kind of music we need as Americans, and as people. ❤
