Thank you to the construction worker who stopped working by the side of the road to take off his hat and pay his respects when our funeral procession passed by. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for him while he was in the hospital and gave us so much compassion while we took him off life support. As someone who volunteered to clean the washrooms at a few different jobs due to thinking other employees wouldn't really get in and make it clean, I appreciate what you do daily, it's not always glorious yet always necessary.
I'm a fourth generation teacher. You can instantly tell a school with a good custodian from a school without one. I do my best to always let them know they are appreciated.
You make sure we have clean and sanitary places to be, unsanitary spaces can lead to a number of health issues and even diseases, you stop that from happening. I couldn't imagine how disgusting places would be without janitors. you're the reason why people stay healthy when they go to different environments outside of home, I'd call that a hero.
This one hits home, my hubby retires in a couple weeks after 30 years as a carpenter, his body is wrecked, arthritis, back surgery, knee injections...the list goes on. He busted his ass for his family, he is our hero. Thank you for this tribute, they all deserve their flowers.

My mother was a cop and is now a nurse. My father is a Marine vet, was a volunteer firefighter for 20+ years, and is now working in a factory. My stepfather is an Air Force vet now electrician. I am an Air Force vet now working in retail. So far, I am the only one who has heard this song and I just found it. Been a long time fan of you Tom and this hits me deep. A lot of people don’t know the sacrifices we make or even how our days are going. All 4 of us have gone through things that we don’t talk about and me personally, I feel forgotten about. I don’t go asking for a thanks or even ask for a discount. I’d rather have someone welcome me home or thank me for the sacrifices instead of my service. All I really want is to feel the recognition and this song made me feel that. I plan on showing this to my family soon and I hope it has the same impact on them as it did me. Thank you Tom.
My dad's been a truck driver for almost 30 years. He sacrificed spending time at home to make sure we had a home to be thankful for. Thank you to all the people who keep this world running

I seriously teared up. As a custodian/janitor, I appreciate this video more than you'll ever know. I'm working so I can afford to go to school to be a doctor.
Don't waste your money, all medical schools are taught under Rothschilds, they are trained to treat not cure. Dr s are committing suicide over owing money for worthless degrees. Go holistic knowledge, learn to heal.

I’m a courier and I deliver all of your Amazon and Wal mart stuff all day every day, but what I also deliver is medication for cancer patients, most of the medication is dependent on me making that delivery, I have a story of one customer that I delivered his medication on a monthly basis and him and his wife would be so grateful when they saw my truck coming up the driveway…until recently I was told to not bother because his condition got worse and they were in the process of getting him ready for his last days, his wife was so grateful she gave myself and other drivers that delivered for them homemade jam as a thank you, this song makes me think of how I helped him and also my other customers with their medication especially now one of my regulars for medication is own father whom is my hero because he is a truck driver delivering milk for 46 years, thank you Tom for giving love to the people that keep this world running.
don't forget about the sort, you are the end route, but it takes all the grunts to get that last bit to the customer. I've done both sides, the driver gets all the credit and "thank you"s but there is an army of grunts behind it.
Thank you for the shout out! I work on an ambulance. And on behalf of all of us YOU ARE WELCOME 💖And thank you to everyone out there that puts one foot in front of the other every day and keeps it pushin 💖
You are appericated and needed and loved! My husband is a trucker! You guys do a selfless job and deserve all the praises and acknowledgement! Keep truckin, sir! ❤

I served 25 years in the Army, served in numerous war zones, and current Police officer. I want to truly thank you Tom for your gratitude, not for myself but for my comrades that never came home from foreign shores and the men and women who pin on the badge to help this country be a better place. To all the people that run to the danger and make this country great again, I salute you ! 🇺🇲
Thank you to those who do the nitty and gritty, and to those who do the smallest jobs. You don't ever get represented, shown, or celebrated in the ways that you deserve.
Proud to say, this song and video brought tears to my eyes.58 year old vet, I remember when this was the country we lived in. When our country and especially our politicians and even the media felt this way about our country. I pray that this video goes viral and changes the lives of those that watch it. Thank you.
Love the shout to the welders... welder here, father of 3 girls and my wife is a stay at home mom. The struggle is real, the hours can be long... thanks for the shout out!😊
I am a janitor. People often mock us for not being more. Sometimes it makes me sad that i'm considered a low citizen. But then i remember Lord Jesus Christ was born in a dirty place with animals, he was a mere carpenter, walked the earth as a poor and humble man. I wouldn't want it to be any different for myself. Thanks for your song man, it means a lot ♥
Anyone that look down on others are the one beneath the others. Maybe they have more money then you, but the fact that they look down on you prove that they are lower in the brain department. No good peoples look down on others, because anyone with a good brain know that any jobs no matter how useless it may seem at first glance is important in some shape or form, if it was not, those job would not exist in the first place, since no one would want to spend money for job that is of not use."
I spent 3 years delivering medication to hospice patients and nursing home patients. I showed up to people’s homes with a smile and a kind voice, because that is all I could offer. I had multiple families thank me for my actions. I was told in those dark days seeing someone like me arrive with a smile and a story or two showed respect and kindness. I changed jobs and still remember those folks.
Also wanted to say Thank you with all my heart to the NICU doctors and nurses who kept my son alive when he was in the unit. He just turned 26 and I thank you all for every day I have him in my life!
Thank you 👏 Please go to the doctor and get checked out if you can. My dad drove truck for 20 years, and he died unexpectedly from a blood clot that traveled from his leg to his heart, and doctors think it was related to sitting for so long
I wanted to say thank you for this song, Mr. Macdonald. I was in a near fatal car accident back in 2015 & a firefighter EMT saved me & pulled me the sunroof. Then handed me off to the medical EMTs & I was in a coma for a month. Doctors, nurses & certified nurse assistants care for me & kept me alive. Also had a cop help escorted the EMTs to a different hospital. I will always support the first responders, I am still alive & safe because of them. Thank you, to the first responders out there & to the fire fighter who got to me just in time.
Food service worker here, this song means a lot. Not enough people appreciate us. Thank you to everyone out there serving there communities, there country, and everything in between.
My father was a carpenter. I spent a lot of time hanging out with them building a house outside and watch the crew of brothers using just hammer and nails. Be proud of yourself for the work you do. Thank you for putting a roof over our heads.
Cop, Sheriff, Firefighter, Medic and trucker here here...thank you. I catch hate all the time. Gave my whole life to service and got nothing in return but a small paycheck. But I did it all and would do it again. Peace.
My husband is too! Some people have no clue the dedication is takes to do that job. Many hours away from home, many celebrations missed, etc...Thanks for keeping America going!
Thank you Tom MacDonald for your music that puts things in to perspective. I am a delivery driver. Had to work through the pandemic when everything was shut down. We rolled on getting done. Everyday praying I didn't take the virus home to my family. On another side. I've had a gun pointed at me because a guy cut me off. I was able to go through a parking lot to get away from him. Didn't anticipate the guy would make the block and jump out his car yelling what ya gonna do now. People have no idea the risk we have to take everyday to deliver say 200 plus stops. I get it done with most days not getting a simple Thank You. Just alot of I got more furniture coming to my apartment on the fourth floor. All for purple promise.
It's sad that these people hardly get represented or shown because they're not seen as cool or important, when in reality they're some of the coolest people on the planet.
Boggles my mind that people hate this man. He's over here inspiring us to be better humans, and showing gratefulness in every area of life. Much respect Tom!
I’m a US Army Vietnam vet and a retired 25 year police detective. I was injured on the job and now I’m 100% disabled. Live alone. I must use a walker. I can’t drive. But I’m NOT BITCHING. It is what it is and I’m proud to have just served. Thank you so very very much Tom. God bless you. 🙏🏻
Lawn care technician here! Thank you for the recognition for the everyday people. It's so thankless so often, yet we are the ones making dreams come true. Thank you, Tom and Nova, for all you do!!
HVAC Installer here. Working long hours under houses and out in this 100 degree heat daily getting people cooling. It's rewarding. A smile on a face and a handshake keeps me going. I love this. But you never hear tradesmen talked about as heroes or really glamorized. We're just the grunts that make the world work. We don't get headline news spots like million dollar athletes arguing over how many millions they get that year. Thank Tom. It's a good song. Telling the daily people working hard that they're a hero helps. Sometimes we feel like dirt.
I had some solar installed years ago and as part of "the package" had some insulation installed in my attic. When I saw those guys putting on the head to toe suits and going into the already quite hot attic, I knew that even the home improvement and prior tech/installer type of work I did in the past paled in comparison to being covered like they were. I offered them ice cold Gatorades and had the a/c cranked up for 'em. So many of our population work these "behind the scenes" "cog of the machine" types of jobs (of various sorts) and it's wild to think about just how many moving parts there are to keeping society functioning how it needs to. From HVAC, electricians, and plumbers, to the engineers keeping vital networks and processing systems running around the country (and world), the honest, hard working folks are heroes. I've been in the attic and crawlspaces and certainly thank you and that industry for making our lives much more comfortable, especially in the deep south of South Carolina!! lol
I’m a wounded veteran and my wife is active duty. Thank you for recognizing all the heroes out there who get little to no respect 🫡 Thank you for recognizing all our heroes at home who make our lives worth living. I think we all have those people in our lives. God Bless you all.

Contractor here. This song made me cry! Nothing makes me cry!! I’m a hero to my wife and kids, but to my clients I’m just a guy they think charges them to much to do a job. they have no idea what it takes or that I work 17 hours a day to get it done and barely pay my bills. I've been driving a truck for almost 10 years now went from doing otr to local so I can help drive my mom who is a retired teacher, 260 miles south to the heart clinic when she needs a checkup. Every little bit of feel good knowing that there are people who treat us and think of us as human beings and not an enemy to society or just plain useless. Thank you Tom for giving us a spark to keep us going.

You are all heroes. even when you're old, bent over and can't remember the dogs name you are a hero. You were willing to fight for our freedoms and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re not a janitor you’re a sanitation and maintenance worker making sure our facilities are clean and working you’re a hero ❤️
Thank you for Your service
You make sure we have clean and sanitary places to be, unsanitary spaces can lead to a number of health issues and even diseases, you stop that from happening. I couldn't imagine how disgusting places would be without janitors. you're the reason why people stay healthy when they go to different environments outside of home, I'd call that a hero.

I've been in the attic and crawlspaces and certainly thank you and that industry for making our lives much more comfortable, especially in the deep south of South Carolina!! lol

My father was a cop. And because of him I have mad respect for LEO’s all around our country. And for our military ( he was in the Navy and Army - in the Army he was in Korean War) .
What goes on around our country with the leftists crapping on LEO’s makes me so disgusted.
Thank you for your outstanding service to our country and our community thank you 🙏🏻

Ty Tom from a vet who was a welder and am now the assistant chief of our local fire dept. This song has meant a lot to me since I first heard it
Just want to say Tom that it is an honor to be chosen to be in your music video Heroes with my brother
Wow, this was powerful Tom. I'm a grocery store clerk, we are over worked and underpaid. It's a tough job at times, but nowhere near as hard as other manual labor jobs. Thank you for representing me and everyone else in this song. You have my undying respect.
You pretty much said what I came to say!!
I'm a grocery clerk as well. There are very few customers that remind me why I choose to stay in the job. The rest of the customers really take it out of me...
Thanks Tom for mentioning us!! ❤❤❤
What makes it worse when ppl take it out on us cos they can’t afford food because of the why life is atm they don’t understand we’re only there so we can afford food for our families
GOD BLESS YOU Mr. MacDonald! I’m a Steel Worker from Indiana and this song brought tears to my eyes! Thank You

Tom, I work for a major national convenance store and worked during covid and people never thought about us and what we had to deal with and after covid ended these people got used to treating us like trash and continue today treating us like trash. Thank you for seeing us little guys who nobody ever stands up for.
Thank you! My husband was a Vet and died in 2018. I'm in Healthcare. I love this song just as much as your others. I'm proud to be a part of the HOG family!
My dad is currently 87, and he used to be in the National Guard and was an engineer for the railroad back in his day, and he is the reason I want to change myself from being lazy and selfish. I’m blessed to have been adopted by him and my mom, and I want to show them, so I help out with everything around our house.
Tom, you’re one of the heroes as well appreciate your music really love this song
Trucker here, so many of us out on the road, acting as America's economic backbone, don't feel the appreciation, and for you to even mention us, brings back some hope. We spend so much time away from our families so that every American can do their jobs, and have the things that they want. Thank you very much Tom
