I know it's a ton of extra work but the visualisation Fronk did when talking about the Druid tree was VERY useful. As someone who doesn't play every class and certainly doesn't study the talent trees it helped put all the needed context on that discussion.
@cenciqt6045 Young people in EU are significantly more likely to live with their parents well into adulthood. Plus some EU countries have universal base income. Means a lot more 18-29 year olds can afford to not work a full-time job compared to the US. Also, they don't need full-time employment to get health insurance.

It’s also a matter of commute times. In NA it’s not uncommon to commute 1 hour+ home from work. In most of the EU that is unheard of because they have more developed regional centres. Sure in the major cities like Paris an hour commute is common… but people in Bucharest are home at 530 if they finish at 5.
To answer Max; Yes talking about esports and the industry at large is very interesting. Max has a very unique perspective on this as both a major figure in Liquid and a voracious sports fan. Dratnos perspective as a signed talent person as both caster and player adds to this, and Dorki does a phenomonal job at reflecting the community sentiment on the topics. During slow weeks talking about the industry or random gaming-related topics is GOATed. You 3 offer a voice of nuance and positivity in a traditionally negative and binary space.

Of course this is a respecrable opinion, there's nothing wrong with either not liking or notcaring about talent trees, but this is an rpg there has to be some sort of building a character that goes beyond gear, we can agree that talent trees are fundamentally flawed, but they aren't going anywhere and if they aren't going anywhere then they should provode atleast some meaningful choices, as in you can't get everything you want because again that makes the whole exercise of talent trees and levelling, totally moot.
I’m English and when I was a teenager I used to be degen because servers were mixed and you’d play with US, so the player base was bigger later in the day. As we started to get separate servers in most games there was no benefit to staying up late (also got older and had to work etc)

The class tree, for ele shaman in m+, is SO bad right now. It’s the worst tree. I have literally one point left to “play with”. Yea I’ve gotten a bunch of cool nodes already, except all but 2 of them are just shaman baseline abilities that were stolen from us (Purge, AG, 90s astral, natures guardian, hex ALL of these I had in shadowlands) I am literally left with one point to choose between poison cleansing, wind rush, improvement to capacitor totem, fucking frost shock, healing stream (oh that used to be baseline too), or an improvement to spiritwalker’s grace. Great. I can’t even take tremor totem unless it’s a key where it really matters. I LOVE tremor totem, and blizzard has effectively taken it away from us. One of the most fun and knowledge/reaction rewarding buttons in the game is just not takeable
Love the casual talks talking about whatever comes to mind. Also as a sidenote: as a girl in a guild, there has been so much drama involving raiding and M+. We also had a couple meet in guild, get married and have kids! ☺️

Max is looking at talents from a RL perspective while Dorki is looking at them from a M+ player perspective. Yes, on paper being able to drop kick, dispell, etc, to take something else is great. But in m+ you often need all of that basic utility toolkit, especially with affixes like Afflicted or Incorporeal, so having a pathing that actually allows to take all of that is great. Like RSham mostly can’t afford to take both Hex and poison dispell (and in some cases, their offensive dispell), which on a week like this week with Incorporeal is a really tough spot, some of them drop a whole defensive cd (Earth Elemental) just to be able to get their needed utility. Their tree is filled with utility and is mostly good, but they still struggle to actually get all the basic stuff they need in some instances.
