I am 100% serious in what I am about to say, in grade school I had a friend who loved mustard so much he would consistently put it on chocolate bars like mars, twix etc. He would also make money off kids telling them he will eat mustard straight from the bottle for 1/2 dollars. I think the thing with buttons feeling more weighty is just the difference in times. When you go into a Cata dungeon it's not difficult content. You're just focusing on you and what you're doing and your damage and just having a good time. You push your Swipe, you see the numbers pop up... "Wow, that was a nice swipe." In retail you go into the first pull of a dungeon and you're tracking 8 different stops, 4 kicks, all your cooldowns, dodging 3 ground swirlies, knocking a mob out of Sanguine. You don't have time to even feel your spec. You need to be able to background your entire spec in your mind so you can focus on every thing else so you never feel it. You don't even know how much damage that swipe did because you have numbers turned off so you can see your Plater Weakura telling you when 8 different lasher's are about to cast. You have no idea what that Swipe did. Of course it feels like crap to press it.
Ironic how they added in loads of new daily rewards queueing up for things and reset all froggers to a pretty mediocre cloak level shortly after this came out
Coarse Ground Mustard is the Pro-Play. It keeps the husks of the mustard-seeds and gives it a really unique Caviar-like texture. It has a much deeper and more ph-neutral flavor than Yellow Mustard.
I know this comment is kind of late, but I wanted to add, something else that made the frog farm incredibly OP wasn't just the cloak power you got from it, it was also the amount of bronze you could get from it to help overcome the insane bronze cost for upgrading gear. Upgrading one piece of gear from 346 to 556 (The max ilvl on gear) can cost 33k to over 100k depending on what piece you are upgrading, which you only get about 7-10k bronze a day from dailies even after the buffs, it's still going to take people an insanely long time to even get close to the froggers ilvl, and that's if you are dumping every piece of bronze you can get into gear upgrades and forgoing all cosmetics purchases on that specific char. Most froggers got to or got extremely close to the max ilvl on their gear before the farm was nerfed, causing them to do the insane dmg since their tinker gems scale off the ilvl of the gear the gem is in, not your main stat. If you look at the breakdown of a frogger, all their dmg is coming from their tinker gems, which is why they are dumpstering raid bosses and not taking any dmg. I know blizzard had a specific scaling arc they wanted people to follow during the event, I don't think they wanted anyone getting to this power lvl till at least the second month, but because of the frogger farm, I think they need to admit defeat, and just slash the cost of all gear upgrades by at least 50% if not 80-90%, the scaling at max lvl is already fucked, and there are already people at goku lvls of power, they just need to stop trying to force this power arc they wanted and just let people be OP af sooner, that was the whole point of the event, become super powerful and get a bunch of cosmetics.
Sound design is so important to make your buttons feel impactful. That and good damage numbers popping up. I play a lot of alts, but I think Warrior's cleave sound does it for me. I LOVE pushing that button. It's got good numbers and the sound is just this ear throbbing bass and with good headphones/earphones, it feels great!
Warrior’s sound effects are actually a massive reason as to why I dont play the class. Every ability sounds like you’re slamming a door with a hammer and it just doesn’t fulfill the class fantasy nearly as well as older (pre BFA i think) warrior did.

During Castle Nathria (which I only mention because we're all wow nerds) a guildie told me there was a tiktok thing about watermelon dipped in yellow mustard. We were all like "eww gross" and then I said "oh hey I happen to have both in my fridge right now; I'll try it" I did, and it wasn't gross. It wasn't good, but the mustard was completely lost in the melon. You'd have to put an overwhelming amount of mustard on it to make it gross, but the same point would be reached far earlier with something that mustard is usually good on like a hotdog.

Why does max jeep saying 1.5 year expansions since the announcement? They said war within story finishes by 2030 There are 6 years and 3 expansions, isn’t that kind of 2 years per expansion?
18-month expansions was something Ian said they were aiming for back at the end of BFA. Shadowlands completely missed that mark, for lots of reasons, and while Ian/Blizzard hasn’t said they’re aiming for 18-month expansions since then, I think the assumption is that’s the goal. And that assumption seems reasonable given Dragonflight’s patch structure and cadence.
It is disheartening (even after the frogger nerfing) to play a healer and have a Shadow Priest massively out heal all the healer combined by the tinkers alone. It was a free carry, but still.
theres a cool bug in season 4 where people can roll on stuff they already have a higher loot track gear in. In raids on alts losing gear to full hero/myth track players

It’s a combination of the damage number explosion + the old attack animations and sounds. Current retail tightened everything up and it doesn’t feel the same for sure.
Monk in MoP was the first true active mitigation tank. Also MoP monk is very different from retail. Until you got buffs rolling you where basically just a rogue with bonus HP and a taunt button.
54:00 maybe has to do with the "target caps" on abilities. Not doing full damage on large pulls really decreases your DPS/target and the feel of huge pulls.
More people eat the mustard packs during runs than you might approve of... kind of sounds like ketchup is trying to get into the only market that mustard leading in
They nerfed the cloak, but they kept their gear upgrades. I just had a raid where one of the DPS had all 550+ ilvl with nerfe cloak. Still had 5.5m hp, 1 shotting bosses. After the first 2-3 boss, everyone went afk. Only 1 person (healer) was helping the frogger going through the raid, all other 7 player was afking on the side for 15 min straight. So much fun. Honestly I don’t give a fuck how strong someone get by frigging, but they shouldn’t be allowed to do group content on that character after getting flagged as frogger. They just ruin every run.

Cata pvp just feels so good cause, numbers are good, the healer power, their mana bar, damaging abilities are meaningful, not just wet towel builders like in retail. Dorki will love feral tanking, cause in raid you are off tank mostly, you switch to cat and bang dps, with snapshots and stuff, never get to feel as good as feral tank in cata, cause later druids just got 4th talent tree and it was lost

54:30. I strongly agree. One of the things Classic does better for nearly every class is sound design. I think the sound design for most abilities is vastly superior in classic era WoW. I'll never understand the direction with retail sound design, as it often sounds worse (sometimes by a huge amount) for seemingly no reason.
