I love this game to bits. Nice to see someone who gets it. A lot of people say there’s no reason to go back to Breath of the Wild, but I don’t think that’s true. While the story may be boring at first glance in that game, the subtext and environmental storytelling is really what sells it for me. Same applies to this game. But you know, x3. (The Sky, Updated Surface, and The Depths all have some somewhat interesting lore if you look into it enough) I actually really like the story in this game too! It’s so touching! A lot of people don’t like the Zelda twist at the end, (you know the one.) and say her sacrifice means nothing, but if that were the case, her sacrifice of holding Calamity Ganon back for 100+ years would mean nothing too, since Link saves her eventually, and she isn’t some old person. There are three deciding factors for a game to enter my “Top 10”. Music, Atmosphere, and gameplay. Tears of the Kingdom is up at the top baby! And honestly, I’m glad that we live in a timeline where a “$70 DLC” was this good. (Btw that argument is usually made by ignorance, or personal expectations.) Thanks for making this phenomenal video, man!

Correction there is a way to make the client assign the disc to the console, effectively removing the right to resell the disc as the license carrier. MS tried this back with Xbox one, and Sony holds a patent describing how they want to do it.

Digital Steam games you do own. At least you can back them up on a hard drive and play them on any pc. Also you can run a fix on them so they start up and run without internet in case that ever became necessary. Also can burn them on a blue ray disk and make them physical. When consoles go digial only the physical game values with go way up.

The answer is very simple. Nintendo is a very greedy company, and people fall for it. Xbox is the complete opposite and actually sells games and consoles at a very agreeable price. Xbox even has deals for most of their games to be 75% off or even more. Xbox GamePass is also something that proves how greedy Nintendo is. Nintendo won't offer a monthly subscription that offers access to day 1 releases or even games that came out a year ago. The Nintendo Switch prices haven't dropped much given that the Switch has been out for many years longer than the Xbox Series consoles. Nintendo never bothered to give the Nintendo Switch Oled a real hardware upgrade other than just a screen that doesn't make games run better and only just makes colors pop a little more. I promise you, if Xbox comes out with their own handheld console, it would not only be just as much or less than a new Xbox Series S, but it would also be much more powerful than what Nintendo will ever release. Xbox can easily destroy Nintendo if they want to and take them out of business. The only justifiable thing that Nintendo has done was come out with a Nintendo Switch Lite, which is actually fair for the price given the limits of the hardware. What surprised me more was that I used to think Playstation was greedy, but no, Nintendo is far worse.

Great video get on sale, 6/10 high runes and loot based systems ruin the game. It's not fair how some players find Ber and Jah runes so easy, meanwhile other players have such trouble finding one high rune. Also the balance is off cause I had a lightning Amazon and had trouble vs lightning immunities. They should make Sunder Charms available in Nightmare, so we can deal with immunities in hell.

This is why we must fight fully digital. Imagine when we have zero choice to by used.

Something being true to the original doesn't mean it doesn't get classified as a remake. Demons Souls is a perfect example, it's almost 1:1 to the original game but everything was done from the ground up so it's still a remake.

I can't wait to play this Dark Moon remake with my brother, we were crazy over this game when I was like 4. I finally beat it years down the line and now when I'm almost 3 times the age, I can finally experience this game again as if it were my first time. I hope he enjoys the remake as much as I will.

I grew up on consoles up until the PS2, then I switched to PC. The Switch got me back into console gaming, and the Steam Deck got me out of it lol. I ain't going back now. 😂

I would say NO. No decent RPGS No Final Fantasy No Dragon Quest or any RPGS that count. And what they do have I either own nor not give a toss about. The service is crap for RPGS and worse denying the Japan RPGS is not only discrimination but RACIST as well. Well it may be a bit more complex and not as casual as 3 but its still better than it ever was in literally every way, even graphics in my opinion. Dont listen to this guy you dont need a build guide or anything, there are 20x the number of valid builds compared to 3. The dev's did a good job explaining what things do mostly and you still have a wiki if you really enjoy knowing everything. Its not dumbed down, that should never be something negative.

Never played nintindo growing up. So probably me personally gonna get the expansion pack just to expirence what made nintindo. Guess that's where their making the money? From suckered like me? I think so many games trying to be massive is really bad for the industry. It inflates game budgets and needlessly overwhelms the player with mountains of filler "content" (not art). It's true that when done well open worlds can be great but also most of the time with open worlds you lose the handcrafted game feel that a more linear game has and the quality that comes with it. I also don't think that "linear games" should be shoving you through hallways, but sprinkling in metroidvania elements that give you some extra exploration in a more condensed and highly detailed environment. Open world games make it so much harder to create unique and memorable scenarios like set-pieces and exciting gameplay moments. Very linear game design can definitely be bad. However, it's the developers responsibility to figure out how to have high quality story, atmosphere, gameplay, and level design in a linear world, while also allowing a good amount of player expression. Most open world games give the player freedom with the cost being a far lower amount of quality in the game than there is filler, all open world games have this issue to varying degrees. That's why 99% of the best and most memorable games over the past 40 years of gaming history are linear or closer to it.
