    Great channel man, could you tell me which (and why) would be your favorite bike between the 1 and 2 gen (up to 2006) sv 650?

    • @PASSIONBUILT
      @PASSIONBUILT 3 дня назад

      Thanks! I love naked (round headlight) model Gen 1s and I love full fairing Gen 2s. Probably prefer the Gen 2 just because it’s fuel injected. But if Gen 1s were fuel injected. It would be a close call between those 2. lol

      @@PASSIONBUILT Do you prefer FI for a practical reason, or are there any specific reasons?

    • @PASSIONBUILT
      @PASSIONBUILT 3 дня назад

      FI is just easier to work with. You don’t have to worry about parking your bike for a while and the carbs gumming up. The mechanical fuel pumps aren’t easily serviceable on the carb models. Also, parts for the Gen 1 models are harder to find and much more expensive. In example, the cluster assembly for the naked models, which always break when dropped and cost an arm and a leg to buy used. The ECU (CDI) on the Gen 1 commonly fries and are expensive to replace.

    • @PASSIONBUILT

      Allows you to have less or more camber. Adding camber can help with wheel fitment for lower cars. Or on the other end you can add positive camber to get a proper alignment.

      From my experience of putting my phone on my magnetic gas tank bag. I’ve never had any issues and I would say it’s a safe spot for your phone. I’ve never personally used saddle bags but they should prevent the harsh vibrations from going to your phone. When the phone is hard mounted to the bike, it causes the harsh vibrations to go directly to your phone and cause damage.

      Not everyone has Tech 7 money and tech 7s require a break in just like any other boot.

    Awesome video man. Would this be the same procedure for my Sv1000s?

      Yes but I believe the SV1000 has a different oil capacity. Double check your owners manual to make sure you’re putting the right amount in.

    Johnathan, Mark C. here about the engine you have. Cracked phone screen last Thursday with no way to text or call anyone so I’ve been in limbo since. This post is from my wife’s phone as I remembered I could find you here. Insurance is supposed to have my new phone in this week so I will contact you to make arrangements as discussed for the motor, thanks…
