Installing MAZDASPEED Miata Seats In My NA Miata (Swapping NB Seats Into An NA Miata)

In today's video we are diving back into some Miata content and are installing a pair MAZDASPEED Miata seats in my NA Miata. As most of you know the MAZDASPEED Miata was only available here in the USA for 2 years from 2004-2005 and had some of the nicest factory seats. I was fortunate enough to score a pair of pretty decent condition MAZDASPEED seats for only $80. At the time that this video was made, the current price for a pair of mint MS seats can go for upwards of $1000+. This swap was very straight forward and did not require any modifications to be installed. I used the factory NB seat rails that were already equipped with the seats and the seat belt buckle. If you plan on doing this swap into your 1994-1997 NA Miata, you won't need to modify anything and can swap these directly into your car. If you plan on doing this swap to a 1990-1993 NA Miata, you will need to reuse your factory seat belt buckle because the 1994-2005 seat belts will not work with those model year buckles.
