@patriot350 they got Io a few years ago, he passed away about 4 and 1/2 months ago, so he hadn't been in clips since then, and most of us wondered where he was, this video was just addressing that, so yes, technically, Io was still the new dog, and as @theresa9925 said, the clips, or montage, at the end was from moments in Io's life at the house
I am very upset that anyone would say hateful things to you about your puppy. I lost my cat who was 20 years old. He got me through cancer treatments. He never left my side. ( I am 3 years in remission.) I have lost severl cats and dogs. It is always so painful. My husband and I love you guys. You have such a beautiful family. May God bless you. Jan Odaffer.

So sorry for your loss! When I read about the loss I was afraid it was Bear. When you were in Florida when I first started watching you, Bear was there. Bear moved to Texas with you. Bear will be very, very hard but he is getting older. My love lived eighteen years, even thru cancer but was a child. It always hurts no matter the age!

Worst day in a pet owner’s life is the one you have to say good bye. Thank you for giving him a home where he knew he was safe and he knew he was loved. As we all know not every dog gets that. They are such a huge part of our lives and they leave such a void when they’re gone. 🐾
You took him in and loved him with everything you had. You took him to the vet and tried to save him. Vets are not gods and can't always give us the answers we need. You were blessed to have found each other. Thank you for adopting and loving him.

Dear precious Mackenzie and Spenser, you are beautiful people. Don't worry about any negative chatter. Loyal fans will always have your back. I have had two or three dogs in my life. It is sad to see them get sick and pass away. Don't hold back on getting a new puppy in your life, especially for Bear dog in his older years. My uncle always overlaps from his aging dog to a new puppy by 6 to 8 years. The best way to heal from losing a beloved pet is to rejoice in a new pet’s life that’s just beginning. I truly miss IO, but he is now in a safe place and at peace without any suffering at all. Well, I love you always and wish you God’s wisdom in your happy lives. And on a side note: Yip, third time really is a charm, such a precious little charm. Bless you forever.

Very hard to lose a dog. I’ve lost a lot in my life. I will say, that every dog that I’ve had to put down, I’ve always said to my vet, “ I just wish he passed on his own so it wouldn’t come to this. His time, his terms”.
It was simply io’s time- whatever the reason. You showed him love. A life with love is a life well lived. ❤️

I don't know what is wrong with people who have something nasty to say about where your dog is. People used to be nicer. I have found you pay for every bit of love you find with heartache. That's just the way it is and it's worth it.
Do you really think anybody that follows this account would be nasty about iO???? I'm quite honestly not impressed at the nonchalant way they finally gave in to letting us know where io had been since we do follow their account and it is their income! I thought they were already quite private and kept the posts about the builds but I'm guessing they want to pull back more and I'm personally happy to give them more privacy by unfollowing and checking in every so often.

Guys, I had a 4 year old dog die in my care back in 2017. The vet did blood work on him and diagnosed him with Lymes disease. The vet told me it was from a tick bite. I was in the same situation with trying different foods and even the expensive stuff from the vet. I miss him dearly. His name was Henry. i get it. I-O will be missed.
Poor guy lived a lifetime of happiness and love from the day he adopted you. You did all you could. Now you have a guardian angel with paws. ❤
I rescue 20 dogs per year, one at a time. My goal is to nourish, train, and re-home each in under 14 days. Never had one more than 10 days. I went to renew my own dogs license at animal control and there was an injured mother with five, 2 week old puppies. They were all going to be mmurdered there because there is no veterinary care and no 24 hr staff to nurse puppies round the clock every 2 hours. I took the mom to a private vet. She had a broken spine and pelvis. I walked away crying my eyes out with a box full of 5 puppies that werent going to die that day. Not on my watch. I broke my "only one at a time rule" and consequently I had u dogs at home! They are now 7 1/2 years old. I kept 2 and one came back to me. It was very hard and time consuming, but worth it. Rescue dont buy. Adopt dont shop. Give a dog a second chance.

Totally agree with rescue don't buy.. I live in a country that is flooded with street dogs and cats, it breaks my heart when I see people showing off their pedigree dogs when so many less fortunate need homes.. Plus the breeders treat the parent dogs badly and throw them out when they are of no use..

We lost our precious Tina, our 23 yr old cat. She never weighed more than 5.5# and was 3# when we said good-bye. Never ever did I imagine having 2 but Dee said that if we got 2 littermates we could after Tina was gone. One day unexpectedly, we got a call that two 8 year old housemates were brought in after their human-mother died. They were declawed and being a rural county the shelter had concerns over who they would go to. That's where we came in. We weren't ready but decided to check. Dee knew. Been married 50+ yrs and only have had 5 cats, all rescues. Yes, they both came home with us. Now, almost 9 mo. later we are all very happy and meant to be a family. Animals come into our lives in strange & unexpected ways. It's up to us to welcome them in to our hearts.

I lost my Izzy last year. I got her as a rescue back in Febuary 2014. She was a Husky/Whippet mix. Only weighed about 32lbs and was very talkative. I was told she may be between 5 and 7 but I now believe she was closer to 10. The last couple of months before she passed she had trouble getting up. Once she was up she ran around like normal. Last September 10th I went out to the back yard and she had passed. She was laying peacfully in the grass. Best dog I have ever had. All these months later I still miss her. Sorry for your loss.

And gave it some years of happiness.
That was a noble thing to do and celebrate the best dog got a few years that it would never have had if left in the wild.

Don’t worry about what people say. It’s your life and you can share what you want. It’s never easy to lose your four legged kids. I still get teary eyed over my first dog that I had. That’s been over 30 years ago.

I raised Blue Heelers for many years. All dogs are loving and special in their own right, but Heelers are totally magnificent companions. Thank you for addressing our questions about him and providing him with a wonderful loving home for his life. Very sorry for your loss, but you have fantastic footage and awesome memories of him....he will live on.
The dog I loved most was a Heeler. She lived @18 years and you would never find a more loyal and loving dog. She guarded my children. I never worried when she was with us. Heelers are one of the best breeds for a family dog. We had to have her put down and it broke my heart to pieces.
Blue and red heeler dogs are the only dogs i have , they have a farm and a beach life and go to work everyday. They make me happy ,we have 2 blue and 1 red

Over the years I know I'm not the only one who loves you guys. Your videos have been very interesting, informative, humorous, happy and sad. You are normal everyday people like most of us but on a precious journey to the future of your choice. I am SO, SO sorry for your loss. He was a great dog. Keep in mind if he was suffering in any way he is at a peaceful rest now. Thank you for sharing such intimate difficult things with us and for the minute few who were nasty; they can go pound salt. I had a loving dog named Thor. He did just as your dog did. Vet said his body could not process fats. He lasted about a year after being on meds & special food. I hope this helps. So you did all you could do. Your blessing is that he didn’t suffer as long as my Thor.

He was a neat little dog. Loved his little markings. Figured something happened to him, and you would come out with it when you were ready. Hugs to bear bear. Cherish each moment with him.
I lost my beloved rescue dog and she was just over 4 years old. I tried three surgeries to save her. She had an intestinal issue that docs were going to try to reroute her plumbing to no avail. When they opened her up they discovered her organs were fused together and I made the excruciating decision to let her go. This was 2016 and I am still heartbroken and will not consider another dog until I feel ready. Her name was Tegan and anyone who met her could see how special she was. Thanks for sharing and am supportive that you did so on your own terms. RIP Io. 💔

My dogs have always found me when I needed them. I have had dogs for as short as 9 months to as long as 21 years. Each has their own personality. We truly never know how long we have so it is important to make the best of our time. You guys gave IO a loving home and a family. For the short time he was on this earth, it had so much meaning. As one who has said goodbye to way too many dogs, I understand how difficult it is. I was still catching myself fixing their bowls even months after they were gone. Each left an imprint on my heart as they took a piece of it with them. You don't owe anyone an explanation or any apologies. I am truly sorry for your loss. IO was a very sweet pup. 🐻🫂

Cattle dogs are abundant in animal shelters in the South. Please adopt dogs, do not buy from breeders, overpopularion is real. My Florida county murders 12,000 animals per year for the crime of being homeless. We are a disgrace as a spciety. Spay and neuter your dogs and cats. Sorry for your loss. Pets are family too. One morning a large German shepherd jumped a6 ft fence and got into our yard and mauled our tiny yorkie to death. I was a difficult time. We morned her, she actually has a burial site with granite head stone in the yard. Husband took it very hard, I made a picture collage of her life for him.
