- In today's video we are taking another look at the GSX-R front end conversion for the SV650 / SV1000. In this video we have 2 different swap examples. One being a 2003 GSX-R 750 front end and the other being a 2004/2005 GSX-R 600 / 750 front end. The biggest difference between the two suspension swaps is the caliper differences. One of them has radial style calipers while the other has axial. I give a quick but detailed explanation between both caliper styles as well. If you enjoyed or learned anything from this video. Please be sure to give it a thumbs up and SUBSCRIBE for future SV650 / SV1000 related content! Thanks for watching.

I see you've got that little pad on the rear cowl of your bike I've got one on my 1000 and I love it, such a great little detail
It really is. This is the first bike I’ve ever seen it on. It came on the bike when I got it. It is pretty sun damaged though. I need to order a replacement. I’ve only found them in the UK though so I bet shipping isn’t going to be cheap 😖

Thanks for all the love buddy!
I’m doing a Gen2 sv650 with the 03 gsxr front end with Axial calipers swap. Is that the stock sv front wheel and calipers?
No. Both of these bikes have complete GSXR front ends.
I currently have a 2007 Sv650N, I am interested in moving to a Sv1000, however I bought 2004 Gsxr 600 forks to swap onto my current bike. Could I use these for the sv1000 too?
Yes. The GSXR fork swap is common for the SV1000 as well.
