    use a magnet on the tank to find the bondo spots. a heatgun helps pull stickers without so much residue.
    bondo can also fail from a pinhole gas leak

      I’m not sure if a heat gun would have been much help this time around. These stickers were sun baked on the tank and most of them turned into dust when I scraped them lol
      I almost broke out the steam cleaner to help remove the glue residue but the goo gone and brush took it off.
      Didn’t think about a pin hole causing bondo damage. That is a good thought! Thanks for that! 😃

      Hey there. Unfortunately, mirrors rarely make it on the part bikes that I receive. I highly recommend ordering new OEM replacements. You can check the Oneida Suzuki website to see if they have any available. 🙂👍🏼

      The SV from today’s video actually has a 2003 GSXR750 front end swap done on it. I already have a couple of customers in line for it but if they don’t purchase it. It will be available on the website in about a week or so. 🙂👍🏼

    That's where you just use one huge sticker, vinyl wrap!

    • @PASSIONBUILT
      @PASSIONBUILT  3 года назад

      Exactly! I’ve always wanted to take a swing at laying vinyl but I’ll try it on a flat surface first. I’ve seen people wrap tanks in one sheet of wrap and it blows my mind lol

    Looked better with the stickers. Now it looks like a boring stock bike boooo.

      Thanks for the feedback! But I had to remove all of the stickers prior to listing it on my website for sale. It’s easier to sell a tank that shows damage rather than sell a sticker bombed gas tank that is hiding damage. Whoever did the body work on this tank did a great job with reshaping it. But if someone bought this tank thinking the tank has no damage or bondo under those stickers. They would be very disappointed to find it once they removed the stickers.
