- In today's video we are doing another buyer's guide for the Suzuki SV650 & SV1000. This time around we are focusing on fender eliminator options. Specifically on the targa style eliminator, Hot Bodies eliminator, & Competition Werkes fender eliminator. I give you an up close look at all 3 of those options, explain all of the pros and cons of those eliminators, and we also discuss the pro and cons of installing a fender eliminator on your motorcycle. I appreciate your videos. I installed a combo hotbodies and a aluminum license plate bracket on my 08 SV650s ABS. I had to modify the both fender eliminators. The final result is sweet. I replaced the hotbodies led lights with a pair of brighter ones. I had to cut the hotbodies center portion. On the aluminum bracket I cut off the turn signal ears so everyone could see the hotbodies super bright LED lights. I brought a used hotbodies from eBay. I had to strip the ugly red paint and sprayed it gloss black.

Thanks for being a sub and spamming the likes! I linked the HotBodies eliminator in the description below. Oneida Suzuki has it in paint matched colors. Make sure you get the correct color blue because there are multiple blue options for the Gen 2 SV.
Would love the Targa picked up a SV a couple months ago and it had a homemade fender elimination, so my plate is held up by some bent angle iron. Subbed and liked

Love your videos. Can you tell me if there is a difference in engine gasket sets on the 1999 to 2005 models
Thank you. Yes. There are minor differences between the sets. I would advise to buy a gasket set for the 2003-2006 models. The 1999-2002 models have minor differences.

Yo from cold canada 🇨🇦 lol ,question I own a 03 sv650s that’s a street fighter now did it myself ,my back tire sits crooked like the top of the tire sits to the right more than the bottom from looking at it from the back position dog tracking how can I straighten it out any advice would be appreciated ,Also I haven’t had any problems with it since I bought it like that 9 years ago has 33xxx KMS on it now

how do you mount a plate with hotbodies option? Any advice here? Thanks!
You will need to modify the fender eliminator by drilling some holes and making a custom bracket to mount your plate. You could also relocate your plate as well.
I installex My new bikes lic plate in flkrida. I havent recwuvwd a toll bill yet. Ive bwen kn furnpike 20x in last 3 weeks.
