I have bana trees and up til this year Ive never had a problem with them but something is boring holes into the larger ones at the ground level and the smaller ones, they cutting them clean in half. I kive in Ky. Could the cutworm be the problem?

My mother has many illnesses which keep her needing lots of healthy veges but unable to muster the energy to cut and cook them. I would like to prepare veges she can keep in her freezer and take out as needed. Do I blanch them? Does she need to do a short cook afterward and if so, how? It sounds like you have a lot of knowledgable followers that will surely know the answers. Thank you!!!

Always just seal my spinach or kale. Appears to boil out nutrients when cooked then poured out, then dipped in cold water. 😂. Never heard of this process, i think ive heard the word blanching. My left over veggies that dont get eaten fast enough and are sent to the freezer, dont stay there ling because its typically eaten within a week. Mostly, my salads, roughage is eaten straight from the fridge these days because I eat fresh organic kale n spinach abt 4 to 5 times a week. The other veggies come frozen

My broody hen always and always hurts me with its sharp- pointed beak😂😂

my one hen is asilkie leghorn mix and when she is broody she is mean you wont be able to get 5ft near her without getting attacked and i know most peopel would kill a mean hen but a hen thats mean when she is broody or has baby chicks is actually good as she will also be more onwatch for predators and my hen has attack many crows and hawks and even house cats while my purebred silkie hen wont even move shell let you touch the chicks but she aint a great mother she likes to show them all the exits and then leaves them
