Oh my that poor gnome has a tree up his merry ho ho 😂😂. Fab that the red limes producing a lot now 💪. Love the spatula 🤭🤭. Great idea about the chips too. Have a fabulous weekend Giggles and Grunt ❤, Ali 🎄🤶🇨🇦
Lol! Would you believe that it was sold as a tree topper? 🤣 It wasn't one of my hairbrained craft ideas this time! Hahaha It was good! The chips definitely taste healthier without the oil but it's still a nice treat to have something crispy! Merry Christmas Ali!
I love having citrus trees! We have Satsuma oranges and Meyer lemons as well. It gets colder here, but those varieties of citrus are just cold tolerant enough to survive here! Cashews have quickly become one of my favorite dairy alternatives for several creamy recipes! Thank you for watching!
Those red limes are so pretty and festive! It sounds like a great combo of flavors in this dip. It looks like a great topping for those tacos! I love your Grogu spatula too!
This dip sounds like a fun way to sneak healthy in! I have a Mr. Picky who will refuse anything even remotely healthy lol. He does love cashews though so I'll just say it's got them in it for extra flavor. The things we have to do sometimes!
Heyyy you mentioned other cashew recipes taught you that soaking them overnight gave them the best consistency….I need to see more videos of cashew recipes lol! Loved this one and we’re TRYING to eat healthier over here so would love that!! Thanks Andrea and hope you and Mike are doing well!! 🤗❤️
Yes! Thank you! I absolutely plan to make a video with my favorite cashew based dressings! We're taking a short hiatus while we get Mike's heart situation in order and will do an update video soon as well! 🥰 Be well my friend!
Nice! It is so hard to stay on the healthy road during the holidays. The bad stuff is actually coming in the mail too! LOL Those look nice, and I can appreciate it!
Hi Andrea!! I am also in the collab so came over to watch and support your channel! This looks fabulous! I used to be vegan for 10 years and love using cashews as a base for so many recipes! We are cilantro FREAKS in our house so I will probably add a bit more even! I am also seeing this in my burritos! Great job!
Welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching! 🥰 I have fallen in love with using cashews as a substitute for so many creamy based foods! I'll definitely be stopping by your channel as well. 💕
I love that they're more cold tolerant than others lime varieties! It's perfect for our area that gets a little too cold in the winter for regular limes.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! It's a very versatile dip! Did you happen to see the post on our community page last week? You won the gift card! Send me a message any time and I'll send it as an e-card. 🥰 Thank you for all of your support!
@@DiggingForHealth Really? For some reason I can’t get the community page on my iPad, only my phone, so I don’t check it very often. I know I will enjoy the dip. I think it will be good on the enchiladas as well. 😊
That definitely looked amazing! I’m going to have to get that a try. I have been trying to watch what I eat and be more healthy. I think that will be a win!
Taking a somewhat break for the last week or two, but had to watch my fave’s. That’s hip talk for you older folks. I personally like a little overcooked chip. That probably explains more about me than I care to know. 😂Have a blessed Christmas!
Lol! 🤣🤣🤣 Green devil parsley look alike!! That's hilarious! Do you ever wonder what it tastes like to other people? I find myself so curious how it tastes to other people. 😆
Nisha from Rainbow plant life is one of my favorite recipe sites! Her recipes are some of my families favorites. you need to try the lentil Shepard's pie, so good! She does use oil but I always leave that out
After trying this dip, I'm ready to try anything she makes! Lentil shepherds pie sounds delicious! Thank you for making that suggestion, I'm putting it on my shopping list, lol. 😁
Hey! New friend from the dip lineup! Okay, I have never even heard of a red lime! How cool! I really want to get on a healthier journey! So basically, corn tortillas are pretty temperament. Ooh, I bet it would be good on tacos!
Welcome! Thanks for stopping by ans watching! The tacos were my favorite! It was so satisfying in the chili as well since we don't use sour cream anymore, it gave it that same satisfying creaming consistency. So good!
It's a common dislike, unfortunately. It tastes like soap to some people. We absolutely love it, though, and cilantro is great for blood detoxification as well! Thank you for watching!
How very interesting. I am betting I can use my daughter's favorite pesto in place of the cilantro (we have the "soap" gene) but I have everything else. Thank you for sharing.
I was so excited so excited to see you in the collab! This dip sounds delicious, and I have 5 lbs of raw cashews that I ordered recently so I’m making this tomorrow. Do you think it would be good as a salad dressing if it was thinned out a little? I really need. Good oil free plant based salad dressing!
It has a kind of southwest kind of flavor, so if you're making a taco salad it would work! I use cashews to make honey mustard dressing and even ranch! It's the perfect creamy alternative to dairy in my opinion!
You could give it a try! Maybe add extra jalapeños to make it extra spicy! I made a separate batch for Mike to eat without any peppers and his was still good. So it seems like a very flexible recipe. I also use soaked cashews to make honey mustard dressing and ranch!
It's not gritty at all, not even a hint of it. I always used to put sour cream in my chili before we stopped eating dairy and the consistency is comparable and just makes it creamy! On a chip it's more like guacamole consistency.
Oh wow… this was such a fun and unique dip… I may be tempted to add some to a sandwich!!! Thanks so much for participating in #dipcember!
Thank you for allowing us to participate in your fun collaboration! I haven't tried it on a sandwich yet! Now I need to try it! Yum!

How cool to have home grown citrus! I was so excited to see another dairy free dip in the collab playlist.

I've never seen red limes???? And our daughter is dairy free, she would like this! Great recipe
It's a great dairy free alternative and still satisfies the creaminess of dairy! Thank you for watching!
I love rainbow plant life! She has a RUclips channel and is very entertaining! I've tried several of her recipes and have liked them all. Looks yummy!
Lol, So I just looked it up and I'm already subscribed to her. 😆 I have a bad habit of not knowing channel names when I'm watching them! 🤣

Cilantro Lime? 🙋🏼♀️ Yes, please! 🤩
Oh, man! That looks so good- all of it! Thanks for sharing!
It's way more versatile than I expected it to be! I'm going to have to make it every time I have chili or taco now! lol@@mymodernhomestead
@@DiggingForHealth yes! That would make a wonderful substitute for the cilantro sauce made with sour cream!
I’ve never heard of this dip, but it looked nutritious & delicious.

Red Limes?? How interesting…thanks for sharing this recipe.
Yes, red limes! I was really excited when I learned about them because they're more cold tolerant than regular lime trees. 😊
Whaaat?!! How did I miss this video?!
It looks so incredibly delicious & I 10000% am going to make this!
We've been missing in action for a minute so it was easy to overlook, lol! You're going to love it! I can't get over how good it was on tacos!
