      It was good! The chips definitely taste healthier without the oil but it's still a nice treat to have something crispy!

      I love having citrus trees! We have Satsuma oranges and Meyer lemons as well. It gets colder here, but those varieties of citrus are just cold tolerant enough to survive here! Cashews have quickly become one of my favorite dairy alternatives for several creamy recipes! Thank you for watching!

    This dip sounds like a fun way to sneak healthy in! I have a Mr. Picky who will refuse anything even remotely healthy lol. He does love cashews though so I'll just say it's got them in it for extra flavor. The things we have to do sometimes!

    Heyyy you mentioned other cashew recipes taught you that soaking them overnight gave them the best consistency….I need to see more videos of cashew recipes lol! We are cilantro FREAKS in our house so I will probably add a bit more even! I am also seeing this in my burritos! Great job!

      I love that they're more cold tolerant than others lime varieties! It's perfect for our area that gets a little too cold in the winter for regular limes.

    Nisha from Rainbow plant life is one of my favorite recipe sites! Her recipes are some of my families favorites. you need to try the lentil Shepard's pie, so good! She does use oil but I always leave that out

      I love our citrus trees! We still have to bring the regular limes in for the cold but the red limes are more cold tolerant! Like Satsuma oranges. 😊

    I was so excited so excited to see you in the collab! This dip sounds delicious, and I have 5 lbs of raw cashews that I ordered recently so I’m making this tomorrow. Do you think it would be good as a salad dressing if it was thinned out a little? I really need. Good oil free plant based salad dressing!

      It has a kind of southwest kind of flavor, so if you're making a taco salad it would work! I use cashews to make honey mustard dressing and even ranch! It's the perfect creamy alternative to dairy in my opinion!

    This sounds good but I'm one of cilantro people that it tastes like soap. Maybe without it and use other spices. TFS 👍

      You could give it a try! Maybe add extra jalapeños to make it extra spicy! I made a separate batch for Mike to eat without any peppers and his was still good. So it seems like a very flexible recipe. I also use soaked cashews to make honey mustard dressing and ranch!

      It's not gritty at all, not even a hint of it. I always used to put sour cream in my chili before we stopped eating dairy and the consistency is comparable and just makes it creamy! On a chip it's more like guacamole consistency.

      You can just leave the jalapeño out! That's what I did for my husband's because he can't have peppers right now either. He still really enjoyed it!
