    Today is Day 28 of our 30 day, whole food plant based challenge!
    "Put Your Veggies Where Your Mouth Is!"
    We want to improve our overall health and what better way to do that than to challenge ourselves to eat the very best foods for our bodies for 30 days strait! Come along with us as we share our journey and the results with daily vlogs!
    The rules:
    -Only Whole Food Plant Based Options
    -No Oil
    -No Refined Sugar
    -No Heavily Processed Foods
    -Drink at least 1 gallon of water per day
    -At least a 15 minute intentional walk
    -No eating after 8pm

    Love the cauliflower for bulking up the smoothie. Yum.

      It was definitely a very neutral flavor and a good way to add a lot of weight for our cruciferous veggies for the day. The consistency of the cauliflower was harder so I definitely think you would need a high powered blender for it. 😊

      Give it a try! Be sure to blend it for a long time because the cauliflower if firm and took a lot longer than kale.

    That is so fascinating! NEVER in a million years would I have put cauliflower in that! 😆 Now I want to do this! I wonder what it would be like with the green smoothie ingredients, too....🤔😁 Thanks for sharing another great video and idea! 💜

      Lol, I know right!! Cauliflower is another cruciferous veggie so I figured it couldn't hurt to try it. 😆 Surprisingly tasty! I still prefer the kale smoothie personally because I can get away with less fruit and it took much longer to blend up the firm cauliflower but it was a good treat! If someone handed it to me and didn't tell me, I wouldn't have guessed there was cauliflower in it!

    Personally green is fine. Lol. I love love love the smoothie you did today. Leave the carob out…what a wonderful mix!

      I still like green smoothies the best! I don't need to add as much fruit to them and the cauliflower was pretty firm so I had to blend for a long time. It was a great treat though!

      It was better than I expected it to be, very mild flavored! It definitely required more blending to make it smooth though.

      @@DiggingForHealth that was my thought when I saw the cauliflower that it would probably take a good bit of blending to make it smooth.

    I'll bet that is good! I think I'd probably like the no-chocolate one, too. I'll have to try that blend! Heyyy....maybe that would be a good fruit rollup for the babies! 😀👍💗

      I bet it would make a great fruit roll-up! You should try it out! You definitely need a high powered blender to break up the firm cauliflower but flavor wise, I was surprised how little the cauliflower taste broke through the fruit!

    I’ve never thought about cauliflower in a smoothie, but I could see it tasting really good with all that fruit!

      It definitely needed more fruit than kale and I had to blend it much longer but it was pretty good!

    You're measuring out pouring is next level. Everyone but one was basically the exact same amount lol !!

      Lol! I've been eyeballing measurements for a while I guess. 🤣 I'm one of those people that doesn't like using measuring cups unless I have to for a video because that just means extra dishes. Hahaha
      Yes, he grocery shops with me, so he knew what I was planning ahead of time. I should be sneaky next time. Lol!

    I never thought to add cauliflower to a smoothie buuut that one is very similar to the one I make. I use tons of kale, raw cacao powder, cherries, blueberries, chia seeds & bananas. It taste like a chocolate cherry cordial! So good.
    For my green smoothies ( if you wanted something different) I use tons of kale, cucumber, mango, chia seeds, pineapple, coconut & bananas!

    To pit cherries use a thick straw and a wine bottle or vase and sit the cherry on top and push the straw through and the pit will fall into the bottle/vase. 🎉

    I think I would prefer without as well. How can beets be implemented without feeling like you are drinking worm dirt? Just curious as I was told beets are a super food.

      Beets are incredible for you but I really really struggle to eat them in a smoothie. Mike can eat them without issues but they just simply taste like dirt to me, no matter what I mix with them! 🤣 He likes them with berries though!

      Because fiber is sooo good for your gut! We have celery juice first thing almost every morning and then an hour or so later we have a green smoothie. The smoothie is also very filling because of the fiber. 😊🥬
