We cleaned both showers with no issues on the battery, I didn't try a full 90 minutes to run it dry but it works great!

Does it stop scrubbing if you press hard. I had one that did but at 5'1 I sure could use the extra reach
It did slow down a little bit when pressing harder but it didn't stop. I feel we got very sufficient scrubbing action with this one but it's the only brand I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare to.
