  • I'm always on the hunt for tools that will make any job quicker and easier that give value for money. Ryobi (@RyobiCanada, @RYOBITOOLSUSA) has had a reliable line of cordless power tools that are worth my money. When this power scrubber was introduced, I thought it would be worth a look.
    Keeping the patio and backyard looking on point takes effort. And I don't want to spend my whole summer keeping up with it. Time to turn to power tools! I picked up the Ryobi Power Scrubber in hopes that it will do the scrubbing for me and speed up my summer cleaning projects.
    With the different scrub heads, I give different surfaces a clean and share my thoughts on the results. In the video I clean patio furniture and concrete steps. The patio furniture was just dusty from being stored away for the winter. But the stairs had a few good years of algae build up.
    This review is not sponsored and the scrubber was purchased based on my past experience with Ryobi products. I'm sharing my real life experience and candid opinion.

    Ralph, great to see you and congratulations on your new toy! You certainly do like Ryobi products! 🙃 The bottom patio area looks fabulous after all of your hard work! And speaking of hard work, they certainly didn't want you to get into their packaging, did they! 🐞

    This thing is great. I have used it to clean pool decking, pool tile, bathroom spa tub, floor tile grout, etc.

    How do you keep it running. My hand hurts from holding the button. I know there’s a trick I don’t know about.

    • @HomeCulture

      Just press and hold the button for about 2 seconds and then you can let go! Hope it works out for you.

    I found the power button difficult to press. It has to be pressed constantly and left my fingers painful. I kept switching fingers.. also the brush kept stopping because no matter how hard i pressed, it seemed to not be hard enough. .

    They have the shame attachment for the pressure washer. It puts water at the shame time as you clean

    Sadly I'm returning it. It's not as powerful as I need it to be. Back to elbow grease.

      It could be improved by having different speed/power options. For my general cleaning purposes, it does the job. Let me know if you find a more powerful alternative!

    This tool was designed for persons with strong hands. Surely the on switch could be redesigned as the constant pressure required on my hand means I am unable to use it.

    Are you really wearing gloves to do this?

    • @HomeCulture
      @HomeCulture  9 месяцев назад +2

      For sure - the gloves have rubber coating on the fingers and palms for increased grip. It reduces hand fatigue when you are working for an extended period of time.
