And something for unscrewing. Came across similar items for jar lids but still needs like strength to get jar to twist. This would be for the independent woman - she either lives by herself or spouse sick/handicapped.

Have several USB Ryobi devices that we love. The small fan is great clipped so it blows on the bed at night during the summer and can be taken almost anywhere even out on the patio next to a chair to help keep you cool. The lighted magnify glass is good for finding those pesky splitters and reading the very small print. Have three of the flashlights. They are rugged, bright, and easy to use. Also, have the new heated cushion. The cushion is a little harder to use and there is a slight learning curve which is at first confusing. Still, we love it. Doesn't heat real high so you don't burn, yet it is enough to fight the chill on those slightly cold evenings.

the 3/8th ratchet is great for plastic fasteners. The foam cutter became popular very quickly with cosplayers. I work in industrial equipment maintenance and that 3/8th, magnifying glass, and the inspection light actually have permanent spots in my toolbox unironically. Other USB lithium tools I actually work with are the regular flashlight without the flex head, the soldering pen, and the rotary tool, granted the rotary tool is probably the weakest *link* in the box. For hobby tools they're actually quite effective in a work environment. Plus I don't need to drag out the charger if I'm just using a single tool. I just put 1 battery on my phone charger and call it a day. I really wanted to keep the high pressure inflator in the car, but it simply doesn't have the power it suffered in a compact sedan tire to reach 32 psi. Now if I got into bike riding I'd 100% buy one and throw it in my bike bag or something

My wife runs a small business and so, on top of our normal set of delivered goods that come in cardboard boxes, we got all her business stuff in boxes too. I used to spend hours breaking them all down, exhausting my hands from cramming the box cutter through hundreds of pieces of cardboard as I lost grip hour after hour of building up cardboard dust on my hands. That was until I got one of those little power cutters. I never knew they had one until early last year. It's still takes time, but it sure is faster and easier than using a box cutter for so many pieces.

I have the fan and love it! Just wanted to toss it out there that I have it on a lanyard, and wear it around my neck for travel. I have been able to take it on flights (usa-based so far, haven't tried international) with no issues.TSA hasn't ever given me any problems carrying it this way, nor do they have issues with me carrying the batteries as well. It is super awesome for planes, especially if there's delays where you have to sit on the runway and the air flow from the above-the-seat nozzle happens to be poor on your particular seat.

I did too! When I found out that they were going away, I bought some extra TEK-4 batt-rays and chargers. I know the manager of a Direct Tool Outlet store and he gave me the heads up when the batt-rays and chargers were discounted. The reason I started buying Ryobi 18 volt was that they said they would never change the batt-ray style and so far they have never swayed. I guess that didn’t apply to any other batt-ray style or size!!

I have most of those tools and others that use that battery.. The power cutter is cool but harbor freight makes one with a bit more power. I will say it helps a lot when wrapping presents. It zips right through wrapping paper. It’s also handy when its time to cut down cardboard boxes.
Regarding the batteries, some have a battery test button. These can provide power to charge usb devices through the charging port.

I love Ryobi tools. I had some from around 1994 nicad set with Drill, Flashlight, circular saw, SawZaw, and angle grinder. Almost through them away, but just before, bought a new Lithium Tool, and found that the Battery worked for EVERYTHING!! How awsome. Still have all of them and continue to grow my collection whenever possible.

The big hit for me is the folding work light. When folded flat if mounts very low profile on your refrigerator…So you can find the DANG thing when you need it! Very unobtrusive. The other big hit was the power cutter. It works really well on the dozens of boxes we get from Amazon each month! Cut them up into small pieces and they all go into the recycling bin.
