- I AM BLOWN AWAY by the Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless 220 CFM 140 MPH Compact Blower. This new compact handheld blower from Ryobi is awesome. At just about 3lbs with the battery, this cordless blower gets over 10 minutes if run time with an impressive 220cfm and 140mph pefromance. I love using blowers like this to get rid of all the stored water in all the tight spots of a car... But this thing exceeded my expectations and I was able to dry the entire car! It also works amazing on wet leaves around my yard. Thia is my new go to option for cord free blow drying... ENJOY!!!

Thank you for checking this out. I went out and got this blower right after I saw your video. It works perfect for me. No more lugging around a heavy cordless blower. Keep up the good work. You always do an honest, practical and thorough job.
As a Home Depot employee and an avid car detailer, this is great to see. Thanks for your video input, I know what my next purchase will be! I can now with confidence recommend this to customers. This kind of input allows me to give real world advice to people looking to do the same thing, I can't tell you how much this helps me and so many others looking for the right tool for the job. Thank you so much, while we have many products that ramp up in quality, Ryobi continues to produce the most range of tools for every job out there.
That's weak....believe me when I say it's weak....I have worx leaf jet blower and it's 165 cfm and 150 mph and I still believe it's not super strong.....I like the handheld concept tho...cause I have a drill and impact from ryobi but I won't buy this ...needs to be more powerful....
@@lalalal8111 lol that's plenty of power from a hand held unit, and for what needs to be done. At the ratings given, that's F2 tornado speeds.
@@atrain132 LOL I thought any Cordless or Wired blower was HANDHELD? LMAO....maybe edit your comment.....it's embarrassing!
@@JEFFQUICKLE9 nope. It's embarrassing for you since you can figure out what I meant. Especially after watching the video...
beeeeeeeecause its not a LEAF BLOWER ?
@@lalalal8111
When I saw this coming out I was very excited. It does a great job and very portable. We will using it with our camper to clear off the site and slideouts. Plus with Ryobi coming out with a new battery called Edge it could give it even longer runtime and possibly more power.
Great review Josh! Thanks again for doing reviews like this. It’s great for Dyi detailers. Really love how you focus on the “sweet spot” for DYI and new/start up detailers
Very impressive tool. Thanks for showing and testing it for us to see.
OMG I immediately went and ordered one of these, thanks for the review.
Wow. I just found your video today. I’ve been searching Ryobi for their leaf blowers, but many of them are not rated very well. I’m so glad you bought this and rated it, because I will be using it to dry off my cars also and for some leaf blowing once in a while, I’m on my way to Home Depot now to buy it. Thank you Josh I will also be following you for your car, detailing tips, etc..
Adding another Ryobi tool to my collection. Thanks for the content.
For work I definitely waited long enough to get a table top blower Ryobi never disappoints
Just picked one up today and I am very impressive by the air speed it generates.
Josh! Just got mine yesterday. THIS THING ROCKS
I got additional batteries.
Thanks for video.
Also got my OUPES MEGA 3 today
I was looking at this the other day, thanks for reviewing. I might pick one up!
didnt even know this was a thing- just ordered mine for delivery today. thank you !
I can see me using it for the bbq😂
Great idea! Good for starting a fire 😆
you stole my comment. lol
I want to say that but you go it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm already using the Ryobi compact workshop blower for the BBQ.
Chuds bbq
Once more, Ryobi and Home Depot are getting my hard earned lunch money!
My uncle is 70 and always talks $hit about Ryobi. I don't care, I like the prices and haven't had any issues with their products
@@Simple_Jack82your uncle is wrong, Ryobi is a good tool company, middle between rigid and dewalt
@@Simple_Jack82 your uncle is correct on certain products, for example, pressure washers and would be incorrect on others like small tools. Batteries are absolutely atrociously, terrible, unfortunately.
Looks so easy. Ok, I'm sure there will be a handheld cordless blower competition soon. Let's go! I will buy this now though...
Yes!! Finally I'm been waiting for this blower for drying my car. Way to go Ryobi.
Is it powerful enough?
Awesome Josh!! Thank you for the review!
Exactly what I needed on my detail arsenal will purchasing soon
I have the ego 765 cfm and when i seen this one coming out i had to have it LOL. 1 for the yard and 1 for car...I love how light and powerful it is. Nice video Josh all your videos are very professional.
Excellent demo Josh on the new product.
Thanks for the video. Great product. They are out of stock already but I will definitely pick one up when they are restocked.
I have the larger Ryobi blower that I use for the residual water & it works good but is bulky for detailing the car so I will definitely grab one of these to use solely on the car!
I'm impressed, especially because I've got so much Ryobi stuff already! Great find!
Stop buying garbage bro
@@AndySantiago-yd5lh thanks for the advice man I’ll definitely stop buying garbage.
@@AndySantiago-yd5lh I have garbage from 20+ years ago and it's still going strong and still useful. The batterie system for the garbage means I have new batteries to power my old blue garbage along with my shiny new yellow/green garbage. In the past I bought garbage knowing I will return it as it's garbage. But all 3 times I bought the garbage with the intent to return the garbage after using it as I knew the garbage would preform like garbage, but I was so impressed with the garbage that I ended up keeping the garbage. I have only had one piece of garbage fail on me, a blue drill garbage that died after many years of hard faithful service. With so many and varied options for garbage I have expanded my garbage collection on a single battery platform that I don't need to look elsewhere, which I would not be able to do to this level if I bought a different color Yes if your a contractor, you already know what color you need to buy, but for the DIY'er homeowner you simply can not go wrong with this garbage. You will have it longer, have a more complete tool collection for thousands less over time and fresh batteries that work with those garbages that you bought 20+ years ago. More tools, less cash, bigger selection, longer life before obsolesces . Nothing comes close for the homeowner than garbage bro.
@@DavidStrchld Ouch! Looks like @AndySantiago-yd5lh left the chat 🤣.
@@AndySantiago-yd5lh Stop making garbage comments bro.
Perfect for kids! My birthday in a couple days, guess this is going to the top of the bday list
Out of stock, and I was so ready to add this to my detailing products.
Honest and useful information on all the product video demo. Great job Josh!
I appreciate that!
Didn’t know ryobi had this out and now I have to order one lol. What Iv been using to blow out the mirrors, lug nuts and other small crevices was ryobis mattress inflator (high power inflator) and it works decently well for such a tiny unit. But it may just get replaced with this thing if not used as a combo, perhaps this one for drying large areas and the other for the tight spaces. Thanks for the video Josh 👍🏻
never thought i would be so excited to purchase a blower
Best quote of the video while trying to fumble with what attachment to put on next is: “I’m trying to think”
That made me laugh, seems like we all struggle with that same dilemma
You sold me... just ordered it and will pick it up tomorrow. Thanks Josh
Ha enjoy it! Im going to be using this a lot so I’ll test the longevity on this thing too
Great find! Thank you Josh!
Awesome video, thanks for demonstrating this blower. After watching your video I’m sold. I own a 5th Gen 4Runner and it’s a pain to dry. Especially the roof.
Was just looking to see if Ryobi had come out with a better handheld blower and you just answered that question for me! Also cool to see that they have it in stock in San Diego, definitely prefer to buy in store myself. Thanks for the video!
You bet!
I bought one of these a few months ago and love it. Use it to blow off my driveway, dry my truck, etc. The battery does not last too long but I find it is very adequate for my use.
Still not available in Canada yet but can't wait to get my hands on it for car detailing. Great review !
I’m very impressed so the how well it works. I probably will have to get one in the future
i just got this last week as a warranty replacement for their portable shop blower. love it! it might replace my leaf blower too.
I have the portable shop blower, the small one, and i feel like i get about 10 min run time using a 2 AH battery. How much time do you get with yours? What AH battery you use?
i use 4ah but i cant do run time since it stops in seconds or minutes. thats what got me contacting ryobi and got the new one under warranty.@@bsm1th99
Looks awesome for the car drying. Better than the Hercules blower I currently use from harbor freight. But not sure about using it for clearing leaves out of my yard. Thanks for all your reviews.
Love his talk lot of details put in it... Thank U soo much....
I own 3 different Ryobi blower 2 are 18v and 1 a 40v The 40 is really a little to heavy and gets hard to hold after a few minutes, also the batteries don't seem to hold that much battery run time. So I was glad to see Ryobi come up with a double battery belt. The first 18v I bought is still in use and I have had to replace a few parts inside of it but found those parts really cheap and easy to replace. This blower is the BEST one I have ever used and believe me when I say it's lightweight and has a lot of power. It is a little loud so I just wear earplugs and other then that you will love it and be amazed at all the things you use it for. I sent a suggestion to Ryobi to create a multiple battery belt for 18v products like they now have for 40. 5 STARS all the way for this unit.
“Already I’m absolutely blown away” 😂 3:06
need this for Tacoma grill and wheels, birthday soon......present to self !
Thx for the review , I use the Blo Air GT on my vehicles and MTB’s. I could see using this.
Great video I have said it before beautiful home but I do know what I will be getting my next trip to Home Depot thanks Josh
Great video…..this tool is the right form factor detailing 👍
Starts blower at 8 minutes in.
You obviously do not watch his content he’s one the most knowledgeable detailers I’ve seen and I’ve been detailing for 10 yrs. His audience wants the products explained to them so keep your stupid comments off his channel!!!
@@millielovedonuts7158comment helped me, just wanted to see it in action. I’m not a detailer.

@@millielovedonuts7158and some of us heard about the product searched it and his video popped up. I just wanted to see performance right away. Then I look to see other features. Some people’s time is worth more than yours. Keep your emotions to yourself….
I have a similar one (Milwaukee). Besides drying, it’s a great no contact duster for when you go to shows.
Looks like a winner. I know what's on my next list when I visit home depot.
thank goodness I waited for something like this to come out.. i was seriously looking into buying the regular one + buying the stubby from etsy because I want to mainly use it for touchless carwash.
You always review such cool, functional and user friendly stuff man, great job as usual!
I have the small Ridgid handheld and battery operated jobsite blower from HD and LOVE it! It has a soft rubber nozzle as well.
nice!!!
Great stuff! I just added to my HD cart!
I'm sold! I'm gonna try it next snow, see what it'll do on my trucks.
Thank you. I'm thinking about getting this one. Right now it's $99 at home depot
That's pretty impressive for what it is! Plus, I already have a million Ryobi batteries...
Sitting in my car after washing my car dreading drying the car as this video came up 🤣 needless to say I’m about to order this 🤣. Can’t wait!
And my car wash section will grow by one more item 😂 soon as I saw you had a review on it I knew my research would be quick, great review as always! Take my money now Home Depot!
Ryobi seems to make nice things
looking forward to picking this up on sale. I have one of the 600cfm whisper series blowers and its not as maneuverable as this. I can just toss this into my trunk and blow my car off at any car wash instead of lugging around a full leaf blower.
Good review bro, I am vey IMPRESSED!
I appreciate it!
I have been looking for a blower that size for my black car. I am getting one. Thanks for the review.
I love Ryobi! That would be my new tool for the car.
That looks like a really good tool
Just when I thought I had every Ryobi handheld blower, they come out with this thing, and I need it. I have the older "nautilus" style round handheld blower and it doesn't do well on vehicles at all. This unit seems to be the ticket!
I have a big Stihl petrol blower and using that as a comparison I am impressed
This is a need ! 😍
I need a neighbor like Josh!
Loving the cayman nice
Definitely picking one up
milwaukee needs to bring this to their lineup. i bought a knock off pistol grip blower off amazon that uses milwaukee battery. its my most used blower for PPF
Ryobi killing it
Well thanks for making me spend 160 bucks but seriously I see myself reaching for this every time I walk into my garage just to blow the the dust and debris out instead of my big gas power blower great review you sold me
Your videos cost me money lol, I just might have to buy one, thanks Josh 👍😁
This looks like a pretty useful tool for around the house for doing quick things you may not want to pull out a bigger blower for and to help with detailing. I think for detailing while you dried your entire car with it, a better use might be getting the jambs, mirrors and other places that hold water then just use a drying towel. Looks like a great product!
FYI - A constant exposure to 85 dB of 30 minutes or longer will cause permanent hearing loss. So, 90 dB is more than twice as loud as 85, it's nearly 3x. Wear hearing protection when using this blower.
Is this not the best industry to be in with all the innovations coming from many angles!!!!!
Great timing for this video, I just started looking at these blowers. One question Josh, what are your thoughts on the need for (or in this case, lack of) a filter? I notice your Adams Air Cannon has one, and (full disclosure) I saw another video on this topic in which the detailer said that a filter would prevent kicking up dust or somesuch. I love your videos. Thanks!
the smaller Ryobi inflator is my favourite tool for cleaning up, its power for such a small drill sized blower is amazing, I really wish they'd make a HP version like this with a narrower flute and more compact design. I use my inflator for cleaning and blowing chemical out of car crevices after detail brushing them with APC. it is a game changer...
Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to find out if an inflator works well for this purpose and it’s hard to find any mention of it. This is exactly what I wanted to know.
Ahhhh I see what you did there “ I’m absolutely blown away “ 😅
great video homie now i got to go back to home depot and get this too 🤣🤣 and i just bought a lawnmower, weed eater, and the scrubber i just be buy stuff form them
That thing looks awesome! Heavily invested in dewalt as a brand so I hope they come out with one someday.
I recently found your channel and I’m really loving your reviews and demonstrations. I appreciate your thoroughness and details, you’ve helped me make some good purchases. About this blower- can you post the model number of it? Have you tried the Ryobi P755 compact shop blower to dry off a car?
Considering you get the battery and charger with it, that's a good buy right there!
Now I need to sell my Adam’s Air Cannon. Haha. I’ll gladly replace it with that and I can use it for other things as well especially because it’s battery powered. Thanks for the heads up on this. Will be buying one soon.
Like the chicken quarantine container! Good idea I use cardboard box if cold out to keep in garage and or second coop if warm out.
Looks like I'm going to Home Depot today! I have their other blower for ever but I love this one.
Nice for a golf course blowing leaves off putting green
Thanks! Buying 😬
Man, wish I had seen this a few days ago. I just bought a leaf blower and stubby nozzle primarily for drying cars.
Just found out they make this. Good God I love ryobi. I don't care what any of the haters say. They make such random USEFUL tools! I would use this on my overlanding trip just to blow the dust and dirt out of my 4runner!
That's a great size. I just picked up a Dewalt 20V for car drying. More powerful but not as compact as your Ryobi.
I actually watched your video right up until you finished drying the Porsche, stopped the video, ordered one, and then I finished the rest of your video! ;) LOL. Thanks for the great review! :)
Right on! Remember my main recommendation for this is to get all the water out of the areas where water gets trapped. My usual method is towel dry then use this to blow everything out. I did the whole car just to test the battery life but i was very surprised with how well it did. Its a great little unit!
I use the Milwaukee M12 Compact Spot Blower constantly but it doesn't have a lot of power. I bought this Ryobi the day it landed and like it a lot. Would definitely recommend over the Milwaukee for a spot blower. Neither of these are really meant to blow serious leaves in your yard. The Milwaukee isn't top heavy though, so sits on a shelf more securely.
I agree. The M12 is decent for blowing off garage floor but not good for drying a car. Shouldn't really expect much from a 12 volt blower.
I have the ego 765 cfm with the stubby car drying nozzle. That thing is an absolute beast. Dries my entire suv in a couple minutes. It is a little heavy and kinda loud.
Yea but still known as the best battery powered blower for sure! Different league than this though in size and price too
🤡
Going to HD this is a must have.
The 5 minutes with good power runtime and then it getting weaker by the minute is the dealbreaker for me. A good shopvac or dedicated plug in blower seems to be the best option still.
That looks like a work good and the rain gutters when I’m working on the ladder small enough to control
I personally use the Dewalt 20V MAX Cordless Compact Jobsite Blower at 135 MPH 100 CFM. It does the job, but I need two big batteries to thoroughly dry off my Tesla Model S (including wheels). After watching this, I am considering switching to the Ryobi. Thanks!
oh I need this!
I will have to pick one up along with a Milwaukee battery adapter
I have been using the Ryobi Compact Workshop blower for over 3-years and it has performed great for the wheels and small spots. This newest addition uses the HP battery so expect you will like using it for a long time too!
