    As a Home Depot employee and an avid car detailer, this is great to see. Thanks for your video input, I know what my next purchase will be! I can now with confidence recommend this to customers. This kind of input allows me to give real world advice to people looking to do the same thing, I can't tell you how much this helps me and so many others looking for the right tool for the job. Thank you so much, while we have many products that ramp up in quality, Ryobi continues to produce the most range of tools for every job out there.

The batterie system for the garbage means I have new batteries to power my old blue garbage along with my shiny new yellow/green garbage. In the past I bought garbage knowing I will return it as it's garbage. But all 3 times I bought the garbage with the intent to return the garbage after using it as I knew the garbage would preform like garbage, but I was so impressed with the garbage that I ended up keeping the garbage. I have only had one piece of garbage fail on me, a blue drill garbage that died after many years of hard faithful service. With so many and varied options for garbage I have expanded my garbage collection on a single battery platform that I don't need to look elsewhere, which I would not be able to do to this level if I bought a different color Yes if your a contractor, you already know what color you need to buy, but for the DIY'er homeowner you simply can not go wrong with this garbage. You will have it longer, have a more complete tool collection for thousands less over time and fresh batteries that work with those garbages that you bought 20+ years ago. More tools, less cash, bigger selection, longer life before obsolesces . Nothing comes close for the homeowner than garbage bro.

    I acquired this blower from Bunnings today. On my journey home, I encountered heavy rainfall in Sydney, which prompted me to test the device using a fully charged 8ah HP battery. Frankly speaking, at a price point of $149, one should not have high expectations. I would suggest considering alternatives such as the 510CFM Jet Blower or the Ego model, as I am not particularly impressed with its performance in practice.

    Oh yeah, your review was spot on. I was looking for a replacement to the corded leaf blower I was dragging out every time i washed a car. I didn't want a small cheap hair dryer type and didn't want anything much larger than a nice high end cordless drill!! This is perfect! I received it today. I tested it out with blowing the dust from underneath the furniture, works perfect. Then I looked at my interior window sills in our house, usually I use the shop vac with a bristle brush attachment to clean them. Well, after a dust cloud appeared I can say the sills and tracks are all clean!! I was like a kid in a candy store blowing off the widow sills and tops of ceiling fans!! Who knew the versatility! Anyways, I can't wait to use it to blow the water off of vehicles like I intended to use this!! BTW, Huge thank you for your real world reviews of detail tools and for reviewing things that matter, like how long will the battery last!!

    I own 3 different Ryobi blower 2 are 18v and 1 a 40v The 40 is really a little to heavy and gets hard to hold after a few minutes, also the batteries don't seem to hold that much battery run time. So I was glad to see Ryobi come up with a double battery belt. The first 18v I bought is still in use and I have had to replace a few parts inside of it but found those parts really cheap and easy to replace. This blower is the BEST one I have ever used and believe me when I say it's lightweight and has a lot of power. It is a little loud so I just wear earplugs and other then that you will love it and be amazed at all the things you use it for. I sent a suggestion to Ryobi to create a multiple battery belt for 18v products like they now have for 40. 5 STARS all the way for this unit.

    I have a similar one (Milwaukee). Besides drying, it’s a great no contact duster for when you go to shows.

    I went out and bought after watching this video. It’s a good product but battery technology hasn’t caught up yet. After 6 minutes straight from it of the box and charging the 4ah battery, it blew its load after minutes, and that is being generous. You have 4 min of good blow and then it peters out completely. I could only get half of my truck dry and that is generous. You need at minimum 2 4ah batteries fully charged and that is getting by. I’m taking back and just continuing to use my echo hand held leaf blower.

      Too much $$ just to blow dry your vehicle

    So just an idea forya. I put three electric leaf blowers connected on the sides of the garage opening. One on the left and one on the right and one on the top. I slowly drive in and out of my garage and blow all the water of my truck after washing it. Cheap way of drying the vehicle just like at the end of the car wash. lol 😂

    That's the one I've been waiting for.... I have one of the smaller (OnePlus 18v) blowers for in the garage and blowing off cars. I'll upgrade in the next couple of weeks - all I have to do is wait for my wife to buy a couple Stanley Cups and I can "justify" the spend ;-)

    Ryobi has new 21700 Edge batteries coming out that will probably give you a few more minutes of runtime even.

    FYI - A constant exposure to 85 dB of 30 minutes or longer will cause permanent hearing loss. So, 90 dB is more than twice as loud as 85, it's nearly 3x. Wear hearing protection when using this blower.

      @brandons9138 6 месяцев назад

      If you can feel it in your ears afterwards like Josh said he did after using the blower it is definitely too loud. I've worked in machine shops that did't hit 90 dBs. So yes 90dBs is LOUD.

    I picked it up right before two snow storms and it was epic for clearing the snow off the cars! I love little bowers like this and was super excited to get it from the moment they released info on it several months ago. A little noisy on high but the not bad and more powerful then I expected. If you own any of the full size whisper blowers, you’ll immediately see the design influence from those blowers. The motor in that thing is so tiny it’s amazing how powerful it is. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Also love the fact they put a little ground strap in the handle to prevent static buildup. Lastly it is an HP tool with the extra HP pickups so you should get better performance using an HP battery. The kit doesn’t come with an HP battery, presumably to keep the cost in check but I was using mine with the latest 6AH HP batteries and it was phenomenal!

    • @imjoshv

      For blowing out the tight spots yes, but for trying to dry the whole car it wouldn’t be too good

      @@imjoshv Thank you, Josh, for your reply. What leaf blower would you recommend for a car that has a ceramic spray coating on it? I'm not a pro detailer, just a lady who likes to maintain her car and keep it clean, shiny, and pristine.

    As a beekeeper this could work very well for blowing off the bees off the frames when harvesting frames for honey. Wondering if it would be too much power for my little ladies - guess if I held it farther away from frame.
