i got the biggest leaf blower ryobi makes and think I look like an idiot on the driveway, carrying like a boom box - 90s style, when drying the roof. Wife says I look funny doing it but the car turns out great and drying it with towels is such a hassle, especially keeping those towels perfectly clean. a leaf blower is a game changer for those obsessed with their cars.
@@desabat I have the Ryobi 650 CFM I think anything smaller is a waste of time. I’m sure ceramic coatings help with less powerful blowers but still how long do you want to spend blowing. I bought mine for the yard first then used it for cars too
I’ve had this blower for about 3 months now. It was a huge upgrade from Ryobi’s older model shop blower. Definitely worth buying. I recommend wearing hearing protection for extended use.
Pan, I have to tell you, I'm 75 years old and have been detailing my own cars for 15 years. I have a 911 Turbo and a Macan S and I am extremely fussy about the products I use. When I saw your launch I was not skeptical of all the claims, particularly since I respect your opinions and suggestions you made in the past, but, at the same time how could every item be the "best of class"? Well having just spent the day detailing my cars I can honestly say they are. The rinse-less wash not only did the best job I've ever used, but it also smells fantastic. And, the tire dressing is beyond great! Lastly, the ceramic spray coating application was a breeze and rubbed off effortlessly leaving a high gloss silky shine. Pan, you are the Man! Ty
That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing your positive feedback and personal experience with the CLEAN By Pan The Organizer products. I appreciate it. Now you understand all the hard work and effort that went into creating my line of car care products. ;) Thanks for your support !!
I currently use a drying towel and bead maker as a drying aid but I could see this being very useful for the mirrors and all the other places That water gets trapped thanks again Pan for another great video
I like that it’s so small as I’ll be able to bring it in the car with me in the wintertime, when I go to the touchless and blow it dry without touching. Granted it doesn’t allow for towel drying to finish drying, but helps when flushing the salt off
I’ve had this blower for 6+ months and it is great for getting around mirrors headlights and body gaps. It can do a decent job with good ceramic coated vehicles at drying panels too. I was going to get the 450cfm 18v ryobi blower for $159 but didn’t want a super bulky blower as I have to tote my gear to a self serve wash. For $99 this blower is awesome. It either preforms above its specs or other blowers preform below theirs because it has really good power. I use Milwaukee 18v blowers at work doing landscaping all the time and I don’t feel they have much more power. With this blowers compact size you can run around the vehicle with a towel in one hand and dry the car very quickly which is important for me at the self serve wash if somebody pulls in behind me. It fits easily in my detailing bag as well. I use it for sweeping my floors in my garage and house too lol.
I have the Ego 765 and this and it has become my go to because of the weight! Very light and I can complete a full dry with a 4a battery on my silverado! Very impressed
I have had mine for months. I bought it to use for work for hvac cleanup after the job. I also use it to blow out crawl spaces. I also use it at home to blow off my Riding lawnmower after mowing, as well as blowing/dusting off porch, stuff in the yard that gets grass clippings.
I also have the EGO 650 and love it, but that Ryobi unit looks to be so much better from a weight and maneuverability standpoint. The EGO can be very cumbersome at times. Thanks for the review Pan.
I own the EGO 650 but man that thing is VERY heavy. This Ryobi seems just right for using on my CX 30. Also, lower air volume for using on the interior to blow crud off the carpets and mats and the center console with the piano black trim. That is a magnet for every kind of dust and particle there is.
Fantastic little tool. Bought one after seeing JoshV's review. I use it mainly for detailing, but it's equally good at blowing the grass cuttings when I mow the lawn. Lightweight, very practical, and not too loud at all. Very pleased that I bought it!

I have the same EGO as you and love it. I actually got it because of this channel. I do however have a lot of RYOBI tools and am happy with all of them. I have a screw gun that is about 6 years old with zero problems. I use it for so many things including carpet cleaning of cars. I haven’t finished this video yet, but I’d bet it fine for drying a car lol. We’ll see in the end:). Thank you for the post.
I’ve been using mine for a few months. I can dry my ceramic coated GLE53 with a 4 amp battery and I use a second battery to blow dry the wheels. I love the trigger lock and the soft rubber tip. What I don’t love is the screeching loud noise it makes. Ear protection is definitely needed.
Perfect, I travel for work so I’m away from home for months at a time, so whatever fits in my car goes with me. Having something smaller and more compact should fit right into my lifestyle. Thanks for the review!
Just tried mine out for the first time today. I found so far I like to use the blower for the hard to reach or areas that have alot of nooks and crannies (wheels, mirrors, door handles, front grill, roof rack rails, emblems) then I still use the drying towel for the flatter areas (doors, hood, roof) etc. Definitely saves time, and I maybe I will try to do the whole car next time. But again really love it for wheels, and front grill, mirrors and door handles, emblems.

Really like how compact it is. Due to hearing issues, I could not use it because of the high pitch sound. I do use ear muffs when using any blower. Used a Ryobi 375ish CFM blower for 10+ years. Finally upgraded to an EGO 765 CFM blower this year. Wow.. definitely best upgrade to my detailing gear! Love how it blows the water out of the crevices around my lug nuts and emblems.
One of the best car cleaning tools in my kit. This makes washing your car at home so much quicker and less stressful! I do second that the paint has to have some kind of protection for this to work quickly.

Pan - love the channel. Hesitated buying one because I really didn’t want another battery system. Already have three between power tools and yard equipment. I happened to be watching one of my other favorite channel - Fish n Stuff. He had a segment on adapting a DeWalt battery pack to a Bauer vacuum cleaner using an adapter from Amazon. I checked and Amazon had an adapter to use DeWalt batteries on RYOBI equipment. I’m now the owner of this RYOBI blower using my DeWalt batteries. Amazon had versions for adapting almost all batteries.
Thanks for this test Pan. I already have some Ryobi 18+ tools, it seems that it will be useful once the car is protected. As an enthusiast, this tool will be enough and has enough versatility for me. Merci encore 🙂
I bought this 3 weeks ago after hearing all the great news about this blower. The only use for this is to dry off my new Tri Glide Harley and my new Garden tractor. For our 2 other SUV's I depend on my Electric Toro blower.!!!
Ryobi is killing it. I have their shop vac, and it's about the size of a basic toolbox. Works great... I'd like to compare this to my Chemical Guys Pro Blow, which can be taxing to hold long enough to finish my Jeep Compass.
The sides of the vehicle is so protected with the ceramic coating that the water is basically gone from the hydrophobic properties.Great little machine to add to the many different ones I have. Thanks Pan 👊🏼💎
Pan, if you want a good fan for the garage, camping, jobsite etc, get yourself the Ryobi 18v 7" Jobsite fan. It is a Hybrid fan, 18v and AC 120v. It puts out 1,200 CFM of air.
If you’re a mobile detailer with little space to transport products-not everyone has a decked out van-I could see this as being a great compact addition to aid in drying a vehicle…especially for things like engine bays and wheels!! I also have the 650 Ego-that thing is a beast!!!
@PanTheOrganizer One thing I never see on car detailing channels is cleaning of the vehicles door jams. As a professional detailer myself , I think that this info would be good for those that don't know how . I personally use a clean bucket of car wash , several clean microfiber towels for wiping with the soapy water , detail brushes for hard to get spaces, and finally, a spray bottle of clean water for rinsing . Then dry with clean microfiber towels.
You didn’t do your research as you would have found a few videos about door jamb cleaning on my channel, including this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/0yu6AJcopG8/видео.htmlsi=4xfR7DgCoCL1cwqI And this video: ruclips.net/video/owAlFc5dDag/видео.htmlsi=kA_vKcrynsV7TYyM In the RUclips search bar, a simple search of the terms “how to clean door jambs Pan The Organizer” and you would have found that video. ;) Welcome to my channel. Pan, wanted to share this with you. My wife, also my best friend, who goes along with all of my obsessions and sits through hours of videos when I'm researching stuff. This summer it's been car detailing, and I've bought quite a bit of items these past few months. A lot of them after watching your videos. Well yesterday I was asking her if I should get one of these, I was having a hard time justifying it as I have a back pack gas operated leaf blower. NO I don’t use it on my truck or her car, I use towels that you tested and that I bought. When I showed her the Home Depot page with this blower the first thing she said was “ does Pan like it”? Ordered one on sale yeasterday😀
Good evening Pan. I got one of these bad boys a while ago. Let me tell you it’s a bit loud but works awesome. Very compact. I was wondering when you would review it. Your ride is looking stunning as always. Keep up the great work and enjoy your evening.
Thank you for this review. Now that it has been approved by you, I know it is a product I need to get to keep my car detailing on point! I already use a lot of Ryobi tools and have the batteries already.
I have the Ego 650. Use it to nearly fully dry our vehicles as well as around the yard. It’s been a very useful tool. It’s one cordless tool I don’t have a back up battery for. They’re not cheap.
Small light duty leaf blowers for $75-150 have been around for a looooooong time but have always been looked down upon by the detailing community due to not putting out at least 500cfm. I struggle to see why this is so revolutionary other than the shape of the handle, the ergos.
Was really excited about this conpact unit, but ended up getting the big brother Whisper series 730cfm unit. The quiet factor along with the big cfm sold me. I dont use ear protection with it, but like you say its probably smart practice, but youd definitely want it for anything blower other than the whisper series
I’ve had this for several months now, simple answer get some good towels to work with it and 0:40 you’ll be much better off, the battery last longer as well. It’s not strong enough to blow off all thr water without burning through batteries. Use with a towel for best results. A good drying towel not a bath towel. 8 amp battery is best. I had the 4 and the 6.
Great video Pan! I've been using mine since April and I love it. I used to use my Ryobi 730 CFM 40v blower with a 6ah battery and it gets heavy so this is def much better on the hands even though it takes a little longer as Pan mentioned. I got lucky and picked up a two pack of 6ah 18v batteries for $129 USD so now I can completely dry my vehicles w/o any drops. Some will say it takes too long but for me, it's satisfying lol.
Bonjour Pan ! Salut Pan !
I think something small like that is perfect for drying door jams and engine compartments, I have a small electric blower that I use for this on my cars, great review, thanks Pan 👍😁
Hello Pan. I watch your videos all the time. Great content! I detail my own ceramic coated car at home but my water is hard water. Do you have any tips or tricks to help keep the ceramic coating nice if you have hard water? Thanks Pan!

I have been holding out picking one of these up because I could have swore that Metrovac had a cordless in the works mentioned at SEMA. Luckily I haven't had the absolute need for one but eventually I would like a more handheld blower dedicated for wheel and tires, especially during winter. I really wish this had the Flex nameplate because for detailing I plan on grabbing one of their drills for a carpet brush cleaning and keeping it under one battery architecture would be convenient!
Thanks for all the helpful videos @PanTheOrganizer ! Did you order the rubber tip of the Ego online or did you have it custom made? Such a great thought to use that!
I'm glad you found me a portable and powerful enough air blower to dry my car. Just one more thing...what is it like to blow dust away from the dashboard and dirt underneath the seats? Can it work? Thanks Pan.
I love it; but for me its more of a drying aid, for the wheels, door jams etc.. Its also great as a duster, i use it before i vacuum my car and blow all the dust from the dashboard and clear the aircon vents.
How well does this get water out of cracks and crevices like mirrors, headlight/taillight housings, etc. that often leak and streak water once you begin driving?
I currently have an electric Ridgid shop vac that doubles as a blower. Had it for years now and it's been great. But the cord has finally become frustrating to use and it's only 120 CFM. Technology has advanced quite a bit to where I'm now eyeing a battery blower primarily for detailing my car and this has been the exact unit I've been eyeing. Was hoping to see a good sale this summer but nothing popped up. Hopefully Black Friday brings some great sales. Us Canadians sure don't get the great sales our neighbours do.
Pan! That little Ryobi blower is great for interiors also, blowing out hairs on carpets with a drill brush & dabree 😮in nooks & cranies. ❤ it ,always goes 2 jobs with plenty of 🔋 batteries. Good review. All the best Mario Garcia GAD Tucson Az
I’ve been using the ryobi for a few months now. It’s good……but it’s not the greatest as getting in the tight spots, like behind trim, or small crevices such as between headlight assembly and body panels. In those cases i still prefer the smaller air guns or compressed air.
"Pan", Mike Z from Southern California, You,can do the same with the "Bauer" Job sight blower , But the Hurcles may be better because it has a longer tip have not saw a review of any Hurcles tools from Harbor Freight 🎉🎉
Looks like a great product. I have the master blaster and Ego, but most of my tools are Milwaukee and Dewalt. Just don’t want yet another battery and charger. Does Milwaukee or dewalt make one?
Interesting, If Pan approves it must be good. I had low expectations after using their vacuum with pet attachments. On the other hand I use their leaf blower all the time, even though for the most part I have switched all my battery powered tools to Milwaukee, so I should expect their compact blower to work.
Bought this a while back for doing my car and bought a 8ah battery to forgo needing to potentially have to use multiple 4ah batteries. The blower does not like the 8ah battery and cuts off after about 5 secs. Don't know if this is an issue with just mine or some kind of safety built in to the model. It works flawlessly with the 4ah batteries.
I think if you were able to attach the tip with the wide spread you would would get more air coverage vs not using one. Without the tip the air is just straight on.
I'm still waiting for them to release this in the UK, I've got it's little brother (RVI18) to dry the mirrors, panel gaps and wheels but would love to have something to do the full car
Love the videos Pan. Can you do one on drying a vehicle with a micro fibre towel and using detailed. I really struggle with the residue from the detailed and I am using a G techniq detailed. Love the McIntosh by the way!

Hi Pan. Cool video! I'm considering purchasing a leaf blower to dry my car which currently has a ceramic spray coating on it. Question...does a ceramic spray coating count as protection when using leaf blowers to dry cars? Again, cool video and thanks for posting!!
Awesome video Pan. Always enjoy your reviews. I have my bigboi, same as the one you have. I haven't pulled the trigger on an Ego blower yet. Hope you're doing well. Wow, the grounds around your house, and the woods, very nice. Beautiful. Take care, and have a good rest of the week.
$248 CDN vs $99 USD for the tool only without battery at Home Depot - typical gouging in Canada for the identical product. Guess I'll drive across the border and pick it up next time
I'm using a Harbor Freight Tools Hercules blower for details. It works great with its 200mph and full rubber nozzle. It's very cheap and there are always promos to get it even cheaper 😅 Not sure if this is available in Canada though 🤔
Mine should be delivered on Saturday. At a bare minimum it'll make drying wheels easier. My RS3 is ceramic coated so it should have the run-time to handle the entire car.
great video! I think this might be my next purchase. I did want to ask you, as I recall Ivan from DIY detail (I think) said that air drying with a blower may not recommend blowing as it may leave some of the mineral residue from the water??? With a towel it will remove the moister and the minerals. But perhaps with rinse-less there is not that issue? Do you have any thoughts on that?? thanks!

You didn’t do your research as you would have found a few videos about door jamb cleaning on my channel, including this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/0yu6AJcopG8/видео.htmlsi=4xfR7DgCoCL1cwqI
And this video: ruclips.net/video/owAlFc5dDag/видео.htmlsi=kA_vKcrynsV7TYyM
In the RUclips search bar, a simple search of the terms “how to clean door jambs Pan The Organizer” and you would have found that video. ;)

Haha what an awesome story! I love it. Always nice when our wives support our passions! Tell her Pan says hi. 👋🏻
@@PanTheOrganizer arrived yesterday, was able to do my 4runner with stacked layers of flex wax on 3/4 charge as I was impatiant😃 Thanks again pal
Good evening Pan. I got one of these bad boys a while ago. Let me tell you it’s a bit loud but works awesome. Very compact. I was wondering when you would review it. Your ride is looking stunning as always. Keep up the great work and enjoy your evening.
Thanks Jim!
Another great video sir. I like using Ryobi products. I have been waiting for something like this for a little while. Thanks for the demo.
Thanks Fred!
@@PanTheOrganizer You're welcome.
Thank you for this review. Now that it has been approved by you, I know it is a product I need to get to keep my car detailing on point! I already use a lot of Ryobi tools and have the batteries already.
Glad it was helpful!
I have the Ego 650. Use it to nearly fully dry our vehicles as well as around the yard. It’s been a very useful tool. It’s one cordless tool I don’t have a back up battery for. They’re not cheap.
Picked one up after seeing JoshV's review. I use it more than the Ego now.
I still prefer my EGO by a long shot, but I understand those that also like the Ryobi.
Thanks for sharing!!
Currently using the dewalt 100 CFM and it does the trick easily
Bonjour Pan ! Salut Pan !
I’ve had mine for months now. It’s great!!
Cool!
I think something small like that is perfect for drying door jams and engine compartments, I have a small electric blower that I use for this on my cars, great review, thanks Pan 👍😁
Thanks!
Trigger lock is great, light weight and easy to store. Works great on my Silverado and blow the grass off the driveway after mowing lol.

I use an e-Go 615 CFM unit and it works very well but it is heavy... but man, very little water left behind. Great video, beautiful car! Cheers,
Thanks for sharing!
looks pretty nice i bet it would work great on blowing grass under lawn mower decks too.
Definitely!
Outstanding!! And i have a couple of spare batteries around. Tks pan 🏆🇨🇦
You’re welcome!
Thanks Pan.
Yes if you read the comments many use it for interiors. It’s not as strong or as precise as a Tornador air blowout tool though.
Definitely buying this, thanks for sharing Pan.
Tired of getting tired using my metrovac
👍🏻
I love it; but for me its more of a drying aid, for the wheels, door jams etc.. Its also great as a duster, i use it before i vacuum my car and blow all the dust from the dashboard and clear the aircon vents.
Yeah, i been meaning to get a blower. But the Mirco towel i use seems pretty good. I may get a blower on BF... Nice Vid!!
Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback. Much appreciated.
Just ordered this Pan! Very grateful for your vid
Thanks for watching!
Nice review, it's time for me to go to the next level for my weekend warrior stuff 😁
Blower and carpet extractor will be appreciated 😤
How well does this get water out of cracks and crevices like mirrors, headlight/taillight housings, etc. that often leak and streak water once you begin driving?
I love mine! Great tool for multiple jobs!!
I love your backyard. The woods are beautiful
Thanks!
Will have to take a look into one of these.
Pan! That little Ryobi blower is great for interiors also, blowing out hairs on carpets with a drill brush & dabree 😮in nooks & cranies. ❤ it ,always goes 2 jobs with plenty of 🔋 batteries. Good review. All the best Mario Garcia
GAD Tucson Az
Thanks for the tips!
I’ve been using the ryobi for a few months now. It’s good……but it’s not the greatest as getting in the tight spots, like behind trim, or small crevices such as between headlight assembly and body panels. In those cases i still prefer the smaller air guns or compressed air.
Hey pan. Great videos. What cordless polisher do you recommend and like a starter polish kit to use. All my vehicles are black and coated. Thank you
Always creating and sharing great content as usual. Thank you Pan!
I appreciate that! Thanks 🙏🏻
My dad would think this is lazy, but the old saying goes "work smarter, not harder" that leaf blower is perfect as well.
Exactly. So much quicker and more efficient using a blower. Plus, as it’s 100% contactless, zero chances of marring the paint while drying the car. 👍🏻
Nice I have a bunch of ryobi tools and I was looking at this but wasn't sure if it was good or not
"Pan", Mike Z from Southern California, You,can do the same with the "Bauer" Job sight blower , But the Hurcles may be better because it has a longer tip have not saw a review of any Hurcles tools from Harbor Freight 🎉🎉
I still prefer my EGO 650 CFM blower to be clear.
@@WolfAbarth it’s available in the uk now.
That could be handy since I already have Ryobi platform.
Thanks for sharing!

Glad it was helpful!
glad to see you're wearing ear protection! So underrated.
I agree! People don’t realize the harm of what repeated use can do to hearing over the years
Love the videos Pan. Can you do one on drying a vehicle with a micro fibre towel and using detailed. I really struggle with the residue from the detailed and I am using a G techniq detailed. Love the McIntosh by the way!

You have such a nice piece of property 🌲🌳
Thank you! We wanted a new home in the woods to have piece and quiet.
another great video! Thanks Pan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love ur fire pit area! Thanks as always Pan!
Thanks! We like chilling out there with a nice little fire going.
@PanTheOrganizer seriously nice house! Haven't seen all of it but from the climate controlled garage to this nice firepit, house seems sweet!
Hi Pan. Cool video! I'm considering purchasing a leaf blower to dry my car which currently has a ceramic spray coating on it. Question...does a ceramic spray coating count as protection when using leaf blowers to dry cars? Again, cool video and thanks for posting!!
Yes you should definitely have enough water beading so that a blower works well.
I guess the cordless stuff is really coming along.
For sure!
Thanks! Yeah we built our home in a wooden area with nature, peace in quiet. :)
$248 CDN vs $99 USD for the tool only without battery at Home Depot - typical gouging in Canada for the identical product. Guess I'll drive across the border and pick it up next time
@@_Katana_ that’s the kit. Tool only is 128 cad
I'm using a Harbor Freight Tools Hercules blower for details.
It works great with its 200mph and full rubber nozzle.
It's very cheap and there are always promos to get it even cheaper 😅
Not sure if this is available in Canada though 🤔
Mine should be delivered on Saturday. At a bare minimum it'll make drying wheels easier. My RS3 is ceramic coated so it should have the run-time to handle the entire car.
Home Depot messed up and sent me a Milwaukee circular saw. WTF?
great item if you travel to different car events where the water is questionable and need to get it off quickly....very portable
Good point!
Still waiting for this product to come to the UK. But when it does, I'll be getting one.
i went with the dewalt xr 20v and put the stuby nose on it since ive already have shit tons of dewalt battery and i looove it !!
Thanks for the review. Help me clarify some things I was wondering about making jobs faster 🤝
No problem 👍
No problem 👍
great video! Do you have any thoughts on that?? thanks!
It is of no concern unless you have super hard water really.
If you were buying an Ego would you buy the 650 or the 765. Thank you for your content!
650 as the 765 has a higher pitched sound.
