This is a solid video, but I would add, be careful with any coatings on the windshield. I have tried spray waxes, and they can cause fogging, wiper skipping or other problems over time. I would primarily use Rain-X or another glass specific coating for any windshield treatment. Don't take chances with your visibility in weather or especially nighttime weather situations.
no matter what I do, I always have lint left behind. What am I doing wrong? I use same products and I have lint free micro fiber towels from The Rag Company.
Easiest way to clean glass to identify streaks... Clean the inside with horizontal movement and the outside with vertical movement. It will help to identify if streaks are outside or inside.
You don’t even have to be a detailer to watch this guy! I mean I’m a detailer but if I wasn’t I’d still love these videos they are actually so calming and soothing
Worked for a detail shop many years ago. I'll start by saying we didnt always utilize the best methods but, when it came to cleaning glass, we used white cotton terry towels, one damp and one dry. The car had been washed by this time as well but we never used chemicals.
I used to detail cars back in the day and for the windows, I used to use the car wax on them, not only to make them cleaner , but it makes it easier on the window motors because they were so slick.
Hey Pan I have always struggled with cleaning the interior windshield cause it seems to streak like crazy. Until I found out about magic eraser sponges on the inside windshield. It cuts through all the film and grime that collects on the windshield (from the dash, and air con etc). You have to go back and use regular streak free cleaner, but it pretty much guarantees a spotless interior windshield in 2 steps. Tip: Lay down some towels or rags over the dash cause the sponge will drip a little water etc
I noticed that on my new cars I never had film on my windshield until I started using a dash cleaner/conditioner. Thanks for the magic eraser tip, I’m gonna try that.
Thanks! I learned something new and purchased the products you recommended that worked better than anything I’ve done before, have a fancy coffee on me!

Thanks for the great tips. Fortunately I am already doing them. One other tip. I use a bucket of clean water with a little dish soap in it. Wring out the rag and wash away all the dirt. Then use a dry cloth to buff dry. Also, unless your windows are filthy, use the Mr Clean sponge for the outside to save your clay bar for your car paint. Dish soap will cut through most grime. Also, I use it for home window cleaning. A little dish soap goes a long way.
I dont mind doing glass, except for the rear glass on my 19 civic coupe ex-t. An old timer back when I first started detailing (2000) told me to use newspaper. I did for many years actually. We have dedicated window towels now though. The newspaper plus a window towel works great actually. Stoner invisible glass is amazing.
Buffing is the key to everything when cleaning, waxing etc...great tip! Also seeing all that gunk come off the glass with the clay bar was quite eye opening. Just goes to show how important that step is before applying a ceramic coating. When all thatbis left behind, it causes the ceramics to fail. That was crazy to see all that come off.
Exactly! And the car wash already washed, and the glass cleaned again with a glass cleaner. And the claybar still pulled dirt and grime after all that!
@@PanTheOrganizer That demonstration made me a believer for claying for sure! I was really shocked to see how dirty that clay bar was. That should be the first visual a newbe at applying ceramics should perform. It will help them realize just how important a virgin surface needs to be. That demonstration definately opened my eyes for sure. That was crazy!
This is awesome, cleaning the inside glass, especially the windshield near the bottom, is one of the hardest areas for me to get clear. I will definitely be trying these techniques thanks for sharing.
This video is perfect! I just got the stoner glass tool kit plus a 3 pack of waffle weave towels from the rag company for Christmas! Perfectly timed video. Merry Christmas pan!
Nice job. I used to work new car dealer and detailed lots of trade in cars. We used to use vingar n water in spray bottle and left over news papers. They worked awesome and cheap...most likely main reason we used that method. Simething about the ink in the newspaper made those windows sparkle. Not too many newspapers around now.
I added a Bates 1'-3' extension pole to the Stoner Reach & Clean tool. It cost $13.98 and reaches every corner of the inside windshield while you sit in the drivers seat. So easy to clean my interior windshield now. Thanks for the videos!
I've been on a PAN BINGE this afternoon and my credit card reflects it! Had a heart cauterization this morning with a good report, no problems. So what did I do? Come home to recuperate, turn on You Tube and better prepare myself for when I take deliver of my new truck! Keep up the good work Pan....you are the man! Great job no kidding.,
Haahah that’s awesome! I hope you purchase through my links in the description under the video. It really helps to support the channel at no extra cost to you.
Massive +1 for Invisible Glass and the Rag Co. Diamond Weave towels. Best combo I’ve used and neither are super pricey. Sometimes I’ll use a Magic Eraser as well. Also for sealers, Griot’s Glass Sealer is mind blowing stuff, and again not expensive.
I feel like I am a pretty good, almost great amateur car retailer but I would rank myself as terrible inside windshield cleaner. Going to try this to get myself better, I always leave some type of film(according to my wife!)
Finally, I was able to get my glass streak free. It was all in the cloths I was using. I purchased one that you recommended and it’s like a miracle. I’ve tried other microfiber cloths and other glass specific rags with no success, so THANK YOU!!!

the best method to avoid streaks on windows and mirrors i heard about from my mother and have been using myself is MORNING FRESH dishwashing liquid along with a kitchen sponge. THAT'S IT! just make sure the sponge is soapy and not dry, it will leave soap streaks which will disappear on its own within a minute or two without leaving oil streaks of any kind requiring further tools like microfibre towels etc. a great product designed predominantly for washing dishes leaving them squeaky clean can be upscaled and applied to windows and mirrors all around the home. it will have the same effect on your vehicle as well. works great on my tinted windows too since there arent any harsh chemicals present in morning fresh. greetings from Australia Melbourne!
All you need is some vinegar in a spray bottle and a old newspaper or pennySaver.. have cleaned my windows like that for over 10 years and always have people ask me how I keep my windows so clean.. my way is very affordable and very efficient
Pan, A few years ago I had a bad experience with RainX. I applied the product, no problem. In the rain it performed flawlessly and even reduced wind noise in dry conditions. The problem occurred a few days later. I don't have a garage and live in a forested area. It was spring time and in the morning the windshield would be covered with pollen. Most of the pollen would brush off dry with the wipers or be blown away as I drove however If I activated the windshield-washer fluid the hydrophobic properties of the RainX didn't allow the washer fluid to actually wet the glass. The fluid just beaded up just like rainwater would. The pollen, on the other hand, absorbed the washer fluid and turned into a green paste which smeared back and forth across the windshield. When back home a full hand cleaning was needed. Since then I don't use RainX or waxes with hydrophobic properties on my windshield. Your thoughts?
You are a detailing master. I have watched hundreds of videos on detailing and at least 12 on cleaning glass. You are the first to suggest clay-bar on the glass. Thanks for the tips and tricks.
Thanks to YT I found the best window /mirror cleaner. Water, white vinegar and baking soda. A must is the microfiber cloth bought in the supermarket near the household cleaners. I'm 82 (f) and finally conquered the streaks on mirrors and windshield.
Thanks for the tips! My windshield always looks perfectly clean until I drive into the sunset - lol. A tip to maybe help...unless your garage is heated, store all automotive detailing products in the house until spring. Freezing expensive products is no good.
Never let detailing chemicals freeze! My garage is heated and cooled so I can work in it year round. It was designed from the ground up to serve as a detailing bay heaven and my RUclips studio. Here’s my garage tour video: ruclips.net/video/gyehNOd44SY/видео.html

Absolutely fantastic tips Pan! In my opinion glass is the most difficult surface to clean on a car. Proper tools and chemicals make it so much easier just like you said👍🏻.
I thought there was a more recent glass cleaning video yet since I know you read all of these I wanted to comment that after trying many glass cleaners, sonax seem to be the choice for not only myself and detailing our cars (and close friends of course) but my wife thought it was the best she ever used. Didn’t seem to make your list so I thought I would mention. Second comment, you’re one of the best for auto detailing yet I also enjoy your home cleaning recommendation and would love for you to expand on that. There’s so much in a household that should be managed. Loved your washer recommendation. Keep it going and please share. I find I’m using so many auto products especially towels and applicators. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Pan! Thanks for more info and demo on glass cleaning! Perfect timing with my latest new car and the frustrations with very stubborn spots and roughness on the windshield. The clay bar shows all and really speaks for it's self! I definitely will be using that and or a magic eraser in future. Also found a product from rainX, a 2 in 1 that is safe for paint and exterior plastics to add hydrophobics and it works quite well. I also have been testing it out on the rear of my Mazda CX-30 as SUVs always get dirty in the back hatch area, that product really helps repel dirt and grime in between the washes. I'm interested to see once we get some snow and salty roads how it performs. Thanks for sharing.
Squeegee squeegee squeegee. Get a small all rubber squeegee (6-8"), use water with a little Dawn dish liquid, wash inside windshield, squeegee it off. Put towel on dash to catch any drips. In and out, scrubbed and clean in a few minutes
just got my best results a few days ago. I used Armor All glass wipes wrapped around a Mr Clean eraser. The soft eraser helped keep the wipe pressed flat on the window surface and got into corners. I followed that with a lens cleaner cloth (dry). The glass came out perfect.
Great job 👏 my friend! Always love these demo’s! What a great way to finish up a great wash 🧼 with cleaning the windows. It’s all in the details. Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and your family! Have a bright and shiny ✨ Christmas 🎄
I have not hand washed my car in probably over a year and it just doesn't really look new anymore, obviously. I run through brush washes sometimes which of course does okay but never leaves it looking great. From this channel I bought a shampoo foamer, some other tools like tire brushes, microfiber mitts and towels and even some Turtle Wax Pure Wash and Stoner Glass cleaner. Going to wash it for the first time later today and then try to put a simple Mother's CMX coat on it and see if it makes it looks closer to it did when it was new. To me the second MF towel to buff is the key. Sometimes when I just want to touch up a window I will quickly spray & wipe without using the second towel and I am always miffed when I later see a streak. So buffing is the key.
I’m glad I went through and found this video. I’m a truck driver, and got a new truck this past January. The glass is already a mess and needs more than just windex. Nice! Thanks Pan. Before I picked up our new car, I ordered some clay. When I picked up the car, they told me it has a ceramic coating, so I was bummed that I purchased the clay. It's nice to hear that clay is still useful for windows. 🙂
Hmmm. It's weird that they told you the car has a ceramic coating... If you didn't pay an extra for a coating service, they would never do that to a brand new car. First, coating services are very expensive. Second, never pay for the dealership to do that, as they always apply garbage products to maximize profits. If you don't want to coat your vehicle yourself, bring it to a real certified detailer. No car comes ceramic coated from the factory. And at the dealership, they only time they will apply anything is if you pay for it. So either they lied to you, or they charged you for a service you should have refused. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers: Aston Martin Vantage: ruclips.net/video/OKga3yZVTqo/видео.html Volvo XC60: ruclips.net/video/tvDBBenhYFA/видео.html Tesla Model Y: ruclips.net/video/gohks8xP5NY/видео.html Porsche 911 Carrera: ruclips.net/video/2ckiivbFqs4/видео.html Mercedes AMG GT63S matte black: ruclips.net/video/eU8zg1lXvXY/видео.htmlsi=oGxoCp8PWt7gTncV Audi Q7: ruclips.net/video/t7HCBSVnizM/видео.html BMW M6 Gran Coupe: ruclips.net/video/0lC9uyKXs8Q/видео.html BMW M340i: ruclips.net/video/etXhJNaF0EE/видео.html Audi RS3: ruclips.net/video/641mAJfKDLM/видео.html Golf R: ruclips.net/video/jr19g4PWJsk/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for your in-depth reply, it's appreciated. The dealer didn't charge me for a ceramic coating, so I'll have to assume you are 100% correct. It was the finance guy that told me about the ceramic coating, so I take his word with a huge grain of salt. Today I rinsed the Subaru Forester (aka Ruby) with electric pressure washer (60 deg fan), then applied a nice thick W4 Citrus Foam with foam cannon, let it sit a few then rinsed that off. I sprayed some W6 Iron & Fallout on wheels and surrounding areas, scrubbed tires and wheels then rinsed them and wet the car down again. I used the two bucket method using Gwash then rinsed the car down again. I used C2 Ceramic Sealant as a drying agent using a plush microfiber then hand buffed to nice gloss using a large, good quality, drying towel. Tomorrow I'll put some Aero Cosmetics Tire Dressing on the tires and wash all the windows using Invisible Glass and I may then use G6 Perfect Glass after. I use 303 products on the interior. I did get some Gtechniq - Quick Detailer and some DIY Sap Remover to use in between washes. Ruby is looking great, I hope using the C2 Ceramic Sealant wasn't a mistake, I'm mainly just trying to make sap removal easier, we have Fir trees here so pitch is a given. Thanks for all! Dave
Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, Pan.👍 Great video. I will definitely have to get that glass cleaning tool ss I always struggle with the inside of my windscreen.👍
How long does the clay last? And how much do I use? I just ordered some, along with microfiber towels and other car cleaning supplies. I don’t want to overuse the clay since there isn’t much in the container. I’m looking to be efficient when using it. These are all fantastic tips and tools for cleaning car windows. The most difficult thing for me has always been the windshield, both inside and out. I hope I can learn how to leave them as clean as in this video. Great stuff! Thank you!!
Additional tips, towel size 16x16 helps both with surface area, efficiency and giving your hand plenty of real-estate, the gloves are a great idea in general but expecially with widows to if you slip, no oily finger prints, on the inside, just dampen a cloth throughly with water and skip the glass cleaner. On vehicles with vapers it is the quickest way to get that film off....chemicals just spread it around worse. Still have to use 2 towels, 1 wet, 1 dry
I stoped using paper towels.. micro fiber does one hell of a job... light mist of vinegar base dye free window cleaner and wiping for an instant streak free shine...change the towel if you have lots of windows...I use dish soap on the outside window with a very soft bristle brush...
I just ordered the blue cotton surgical rags. I have so many glass cleaners and towels. I have always had issues with getting the glass perfect. I know the rag has to be a perfect clean one.Great video Thanks Pan.
PAN, I’m going to get some of the microfiber you mentioned. I’ve tried the microfiber towels that I have with mediocre results. So far my go to has been Stoner Invisible Glass and old newspaper. There’s a free local paper that comes to our house weekly so I always keep the newsprint sections for glass cleaning, the heavier grocery store add pages don’t work nearly as well… Thanks for the tips, I drive a Jeep Wrangler and the almost completely vertical windshield is a bug killing machine!

Great demonstration, thanks much. I'd bet that brown residue on the clay is mostly the dirty old car wash wax and oily road film. I think your method is great, and I'd say removing the old waxy film before applying new wax, is why you get such great results. I'm off to try to find some of that clay.
Hi Mark. The more time you spend prepping a vehicle before you apply any form of protection, the better. The protection will perform better and last longer. Some people just wash the car and apply a wax. That's better than doing nothing, but nowhere near the maximum level of performance and looks. Ideally, you would: 1) wash using a decon or stripping shampoo 2) then use an iron remover to remove brake dust and fallout contamination 3) then do a clay bar stage to remove impurities and other contaminants 4) then machine polish the paintwork to perfection to remove swirls, scratches and oxidation 5) then use an IPA or paint prep spray to remove polishing oils and ensure proper bonding of the protection 6) and then you apply your choice of paint protection: a wax, paint sealant, ceramic coating or graphene coating. See how I fully detail a vehicle in this video: ruclips.net/video/tjJPcdCUaK8/видео.html

Thanks Keezy! Yeah claybars can have multiple uses including glass. This is a trick used by pro detailers for decades now. Cleaning the glass alone isn’t enough. Easiest way to clean glass I found: using 2 The Rag Company FTW Towels, one dipped in ONR and wrung out, followed by a dry one. I have never gotten as good results before and works every time. It may leave a bit of linting behind, however. If that bothers you, a quick final wipe with The Rag Company's Waffle Weave towel will solve that. That extra final wipe will also help in high humidity and ensures completely smear-free results. As a bonus, no harsh fumes to inhale while working on interior glass!
Nice to have a video on glass cleaning. I can apply a ceramic coating, correct the paint, even wet sand but sometimes the hardest thing is to get the inside of the windshield perfectly clean. Anyone else not able to take their eyes of the gloss black pillar trim in need of a polish?
Only , wish I had that tri angle tool back in the eighties . I worked at a Chevy dealer and the all new Lumina APV began to sell , boy you had to reach to get that windshield clean for delivery !
Many glass cleaners are alcohol based (around10-15%). My go-to glass cleaner is 15% IPA with a dash of Meguiar's D114. This brings up another topic: IMO Pan FAILed on the 1st step in this video: Spraying liberally on the glass results in overspray on the Paint. Most glass cleaners you do NOT want on your paint because they can quickly break down your wax/sealant/ect...
Always fantastic tips, and although I use the rag company black diamond glass towels @ top glass cleaners i never knew about the box method until I started following your channel, makes perfect sense!! 👍🇨🇦
First of all Merry Christmas! A method I have been using now for 10 years is to wipe down the inside of the windshield with a dry lint free microfiber, then using a Mr. Clean sponge and a bowl of warm water wipe the inside of the windshield in a crosshatch pattern being sure to rinse the sponge a couple of times. Then let it dry and use your favorite glass cleaner. The dry rag and Mr. Clean sponge pulls the off Gas film that collects on the windshield.
I like your video. But one question, how do you get all the smoke off the inside of the window? I bought a car and the previous owner was a heavy smoker. So any tips or information would be wonderful. Thanks Candy
Hi Pan, thanks for all the great videos. Do you have any advice on how to clean door window inside rubber strips. I have an issue that whenever I clean my windows they are great until I roll them down and the rubber puts a “greasy” deposit back. I am not sure what the previous owner used to leave so much gunk. Thank you Paul’s
Again very nice video. I bought the invisibleglas after i saw your videos. Works wonders. One question: everytime i cleaned the sidewindows and i open and close the windos i hot streeking. I guess the rubber(?) Part is dirty or somethin. Is there a trick to get rid of the problem? Please help. i looked for so many videos but no cardetailer has a video about this toppic.
Great video. I just got the diamond weave to pair with the waffle weave but when I use the diamond weave towel it’s very grippy to the window and thought it wouldn’t be, I did wash before use as recommended. Not sure what could be wrong?
I use invisible glass and that stuff is amazing. When I was in the military we used old newspaper to wipe down the glass after we sprayed the cleaner and believe it or not it leaves a streak free shine, I've used microfiber towels and they don't do as good of a job as the newspaper. Now I've never done the clay bar method so I will give that a try as well.
For those of us who have to deal with temperatures that reside around the freezing point in the Fall and Spring, is there something that can be applied to the windows to help minimize the glass from sticking (freezing up) and thereby making it difficult to open the window? Hair dryers are a nuisance.
Great video. BTW NEVER EVER EVER use any Rain-X products for glass. I used the regular yellow rain-x and also the rain-x ceramic and both times it left an absolute terrible oily streaky mess all over the glass. It was a pain getting it off but I just want to warn everyone that the Rain-x products are just garbage.
3 parts water, 1 part vinegar, 2 drops Dawn dishwashing detergent. if the glass is exceptionally grimy, use 1:1 water to vinegar. Works as well as any commercial cleaner out there.
Wadded up newspaper will give you a streak free shine as well or better than any towel/rag. A little info I was given/shown by a car painter/detailer nearly 40 years ago.
Hi Pan! Thanks for sending the link to this video to me. I'd watched it a few times before, but after also watching some of your other glass cleaning videos, I didn't know which 1 of them you'd recommend was the best. I want to do what you think is best as I think you're the BEST!!! Thanks again! Questions...Is the spray wax a replacement for the Aqualab sealant (from your other video)? Also, should the interior windows be clayed as well? Lastly, which Invisible Glass is preferred, liquid or aerosol spray? Please advise. Thanks!
You wouldn't clay glass every week. This is more of a deep cleaning tutorial. You can wash the car, clay the glass, machine polish the glass, and then use a paint prep spray to remove polishing oils, and then apply a rain repellent like RainX (1 month durability), glass sealants like Aquapel or Gyeon QuickView (4-6 months durability), glass coatings like Soft99 Ultra Glaco or Gyeon View (12 months durability or more), etc. There are many options to protect glass. For regular weekly washes, you'd just wash the car, and once it's dry, you clean the glass with an automotive glass cleaner and a glass towel. It doesn't matter which version of Invisible Glass you buy. Both perform the same. Pick what you prefer, spray or aerosol (I prefer the aerosol version). You do not clay the interior of windows, as those aren't exposed to the exterior elements. For the interior of the windshield though, for a deeper clean, you can start by degreasing it as that accumulates a lot of fumes for interior materials that create a layer of chemical buildup. See my simple interior windshield cleaning tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/3rF6keJ88Y8/видео.htmlsi=zF4NoZEXcPUGmOIm
Stoner Invisible Glass has been my go to for years. Cheap, available almost anywhere and effective. Tried the waffle weaves from Rag Company, but was never happy with the results. Have now switched to Griot's Garage PFM glass towels, am seeing visibly better results. Great video, thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Pan!

Best tool 4 windshield. I rather polish paint by hand rather than doing windshield. Lol.
What about uk ?
Do you need to use the clay bar on the windshield too?
I been doing this for years , good tip !
Very good tip!
Never thought of doing any pattern i just wipe and repeat 😂
@@musikdrengen02 try it
After that how do you remove those streaks

Thanks I appreciate the support! I try my best to be positive for the detailing community and bring all of us together to share one common passion. :)
Totally agree with you on Mr.Net Magic Eraser sponges. They do a wonderful job !
Yeah i got that from Chris fix and works well esp for smokers etc
I noticed that on my new cars I never had film on my windshield until I started using a dash cleaner/conditioner. Thanks for the magic eraser tip, I’m gonna try that.
@@MrDigit885 OMG yes thank you, that’s where I got it from as well. Credit to Chris Fix!!
i also use the magic erasers to remove bugs and such from the front of the car. Must wax afterwards to protect paint.

Thanks for sharing David!

@@PanTheOrganizer Great video, Pan! Would you use the claybar on the inside?
This is awesome, cleaning the inside glass, especially the windshield near the bottom, is one of the hardest areas for me to get clear. I will definitely be trying these techniques thanks for sharing.
This video is perfect! I just got the stoner glass tool kit plus a 3 pack of waffle weave towels from the rag company for Christmas! Perfectly timed video. Merry Christmas pan!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Carl!

@@bassanonymous4923 I’m gonna try this out.

I love that stoner glass tool. Its saved me so much frustration on sports car low slung sharp angle inner windsheilds.

Nice!
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, Pan.👍 Great video. I will definitely have to get that glass cleaning tool ss I always struggle with the inside of my windscreen.👍
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Hey pan I just want to say thanks, I ceramic coated my Mercedes with armour shield Yesterday. It looks awesome!
Great to hear! What color is your Merk?
@@PanTheOrganizer silver. Nice mirror finish
Brought me to the idea of claying my windshield also from the inside! I‘ll give it a try the next time I‘m cleaning my cars windows.
Merry Xmas Καλά Χριστούγεννα Pantelis! Very nice video
Kronia pola!
Thanks for watching!
Πολύ καλό όπως πάντα! Μπράβο ρε Παντελή! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!

Will these products remove hard water stains? Thanks for your time.
Pan, I have water spots in my glass that water spot remover will not get rid of. How would you go about getting those removed? Thanks for all you do
I got some car cleaning supplies for Christmas!! Can’t wait to get started
That is awesome! How did you discover my channel by the way? Hope you're enjoying my videos! :)
Ideally, you would:
1) wash using a decon or stripping shampoo
2) then use an iron remover to remove brake dust and fallout contamination
3) then do a clay bar stage to remove impurities and other contaminants
4) then machine polish the paintwork to perfection to remove swirls, scratches and oxidation
5) then use an IPA or paint prep spray to remove polishing oils and ensure proper bonding of the protection
6) and then you apply your choice of paint protection: a wax, paint sealant, ceramic coating or graphene coating.

Great video Pan! No matter how many times I clean glass, I'm nearly always humbled:)
Thanks! The video surpassed one million views already so it’s always nice to see many people get to learn how to properly clean their car windows. 😁👍🏻

Thanks Joe! I hope you had a great Christmas too! And for sure I’m bringing even more awesome content in 2022!
My detail guys did a one step wax and polish and left some wax residue on the glass. I am going to Rey these tips. Awesome tip and thank you!

Pan thanks for such a detailed video on cleaning car windows.
Leaned so much more on what I am currently doing!
Looks like I’ll be buying a few more products. Again!! 😀
Thanks James!
@@PanTheOrganizer hi Pan,
Question: do you leave the product in your spray bottle after use for next time, or do you discard/throw the remaining product away?
James
Ugh, I love that u look just like Bobby Nash from the 911 show. Thanks fot the claybar tip, I mentioned to my dad b4 that it may help & he said it’s was not meant for that but obviously it works to remove gunk. I learn plenty from your channel, thanks again.
Thanks Keezy! Yeah claybars can have multiple uses including glass. This is a trick used by pro detailers for decades now. Cleaning the glass alone isn’t enough. As you saw, the car had been washed, then the windows cleaned and the claybar still pulled grime. And this was a brand new vehicle that was only a few months old. Imagine older cars!
Merry Christmas!
Always like a man who takes pride in his work
Thanks Marvin!
just got the clarify glass cleaner, worked great. also used chemical guys hydro slick for the front windshield on my wifes car. worked so good im going to do my truck and mt mustang windshield
Thanks for sharing
Good evening sir, I am sending you all from Cyprus.. I wanted to ask you how we can clean the black tires around the outside of the mosque that sometimes when we go to clean the glass from the outside our cloth fills with blackness.. thank you very much.. I follow you all the time..!!
I went back to this video after watching your latest video. You said that when you cleaned the inside windshield, you used the Stoner invisible glass cleaner wand tool. You mentioned using a liquid soap to clean all the bases left from the cemical fumes . Didn't see that in this video.
I did buy the Stoner tool.
Here's how you clean the inside of the windshield: ruclips.net/video/3rF6keJ88Y8/видео.htmlsi=Q365K0piukWOB1qv
Once you do that technique, then you can "finish" cleaning the glass with the Stoner Invisible Glass cleaner.
Sprayaway has been at the top of my list for cleaning and not leaving streaks at all.
You’re the real Mr. Clean. Thanks!

Merry Christmas Pan and All! My early Christmas present came about a month ago. It was finding these tutorials :-). Thanks!
Merry Xmas Rick!
👍🏻
Nice to have a video on glass cleaning. I can apply a ceramic coating, correct the paint, even wet sand but sometimes the hardest thing is to get the inside of the windshield perfectly clean. Anyone else not able to take their eyes of the gloss black pillar trim in need of a polish?
This vehicle needed many things hehe
I recently used those white eraser sponges, a squirt of windex and a yellow Costco mf towel. It worked very well.
Only , wish I had that tri angle tool back in the eighties . I worked at a Chevy dealer and the all new Lumina APV began to sell , boy you had to reach to get that windshield clean for delivery !
Heheh totally!!
I've started using a simple IPA with a clean cloth, it's working very well and so cheap.
Many glass cleaners are alcohol based (around10-15%). My go-to glass cleaner is 15% IPA with a dash of Meguiar's D114.
This brings up another topic:
IMO Pan FAILed on the 1st step in this video:
Spraying liberally on the glass results in overspray on the Paint. Most glass cleaners you do NOT want on your paint because they can quickly break down your wax/sealant/ect...
TOP MARK PAN. HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2U & YOUR FAMILY🎄🎄🎄👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 🙂🙂🙂
Merry Christmas!
Does using the two microfibers and glass cleaner pickup the lint?
Always fantastic tips, and although I use the rag company black diamond glass towels @ top glass cleaners i never knew about the box method until I started following your channel, makes perfect sense!! 👍🇨🇦
Thanks for watching! Hope you had a great Xmas!
Thanks for watching Paul, and merry Xmas!
What do I do about vertical streaks on my window? I like to put my window down. Wondering if it’s the weatherstripping. And can that be cleaned?
Thanks for watching!
Pan, IS newspaper better than MF? thx
I am dumbfounded at that glad cleaning thing 🤯🤯🤯🤯. Thank you Pan for this!
You are so welcome!
I concur on your cleaner selection, I especially like how well Clarify keeps my coated windows working longer.
Merry Christmas!
