THIS IS THE PAN THAT MADE YOU!!!! Holy crap, do more of this!!!! We love your reviews and tutorials, Pan. I'm going out right now to wash my car....and I have an IK sprayer sitting on the table behind me. Fantastic timing.....thank you for this.
So great to be a guest on Pan’s channel once again. Since this video was shot, I have purchased a few Marolex pump sprayers including the Axel Foamer 2000. I’m happy to report I achieved a satisfying foam using Maniac Line’s Wheel & Tyre Cleaner. Thanks to Pan and the DIY Detail team for inspiring me to take another stab at foaming pump sprayers. Stay RAD everyone! 🤘
Pan, you have been a godsend for me someone who just bought a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and am tired of going to the car wash for subpar washes and after doing some math decided that in the long run it's going to benefit me to detail my own car to the standard that I choose. For the last 2 weeks I've been assembling machines and ordering parts and watching hours and hours of RUclips videos and that's where you have been such a honest, level straight shooter who understands the intricacies of this hobby/career depending on your dedication.

After I added a Schrader valve to my IK Foam Pro 2, I got a lot better and more consistent foam. It was a game changer, especially with Adam's Wheel and Tire Cleaner.
Thank you for this video I have 2 of these foamers and they have been riding the bench for 2 years. I took them apart made sure everything is right and pumped it until the air release and I have perfect foam..I will be putting them back in the starting line up! Thanks again!
I use the Milwaukee M18 tire inflator to keep my IK pump sprayer going forever. Foam never stops coming out since the tire inflator keeps the PSI around 30-40 PSI
Fun fact: you can actually convert a foam sprayer to a multi sprayer and vice-versa with some replacement parts from IK. My favorite hack is to convert an IK Foam Pro 2+ (with the integrated Schrader valve) to a Multi 360 sprayer so that I can just fill it from the compressed air lines that I have plumbed in my garage. The one and only video I have on my channel shows how it is done. I'm also looking forward to the battery compressor version that IK is releasing very soon.
Hey PAN great video! Recently came across your channel cause of a new car I acquired and wanted to find the best way to wash and keep it clean. Found out how much can go into detailing cars but your channel helps so much! Keep up the good work man!

I'm surprised you've not gotten a response. On the off chance you haven't figured this out already you'd want a pre-wash and contact wash strong enough to remove any previous waxes or sealants. Generally considered stripping soaps or stripping shampoos. Carpro Descale, Adams Strip Wash, etc. You'll want to de-iron and clay towel (either separately or together if you've got an iron remover that doubles as a clay lube) rinse and dry then start on your polishing
Thanks Pan, i appreciate the explanation, i have the IK Foamer. I was having that problem too, i saw the extra pieces but had no clue what to do with them. I detail cars for friends and family and some times i go them. The Foamer is great. I don't have to take foam cannons and pressure washers. Now that i know what i was doing wrong. Keep content like this coming.
Thanks, Pan. Yes, he will be successful. I use an iK Foam Pro 12 with the default medium setting soap metering orifice. The soap I use is Gyeon's Foam, diluted to a 4% solution by volume in distilled water and filling it only about ½ way up. The canister does get fully pressurized and it is a good aerobic exercise for me. The foam I get is fantastic and cleans the car really well. I also fill the canister with clear water at the end and flush the soap residue out of everything by pumping clear water through it.
I have a Foam Pro 2+ since I work at a dealership and have an air line in my bay. It takes seconds to fill the sprayer with the compressor. I use 3D Super Degreaser 28:1 for foaming tires. Great combo!
Really nice video as your knowledge and ability to explain the product shined. I have these sprayers abc they work like new even after years. By all means purchase the model which has a valve for air. My shoulder ended up in therapy from pumping 50-70 pumps. Thank you for the video and I hope your family is doing well.
Whoop whoop, the Canadian detailing boys! Rick and Pan's are two of my favorite detailing channels to watch. Looks like you boys had a great time with Michael (Cars with Keav), and Brian (FAB Automotive Detailing). What a cool experience and bonding session you guys got to have at the DIY Details studio with Ivan and Nick. I wouldn't mind going to Omaha Nebraska and check out their location and have a chat with Mr. Ivan and Mr. Nick! Great tips about pump sprayers. I actually threw away an IK foamer after it wouldn't foam up hardly at all. I changed dilution ratios to thin out the amount of soap to try and correct the problem and thought it was something I was doing wrong. I loved the IK foamer, but got frustrated after it just wouldn't foam that well, even though it wasn't that old and I hadn't used it very often. Not sure if it was the fact I didn't rinse it out with clear water often enough or what. I have had it happen with not only the IK but two other foamers (one a KWAZAR, and one being a knock off I got off of Amazon), both of which ALSO failed. I gave up and went back to using a regular sprayer, usually a TOLCO sprayer head on the bottle of chemical directly, doing it "old school" just using the sprayer head on the chemical bottle itself rather than trying to dilute it and/or put it into a foamer. Works perfectly fine that way too! Sometimes "old school" is far better than using the modern techniques and tools. I've rarely ever had a problem with a TOLCO sprayer and even cheap sprayers over the 45+ years I have been detailing. The spray bottle method works 95% of the time which is what most people use anyway. I also use a $14 two gallon pump sprayer I got from Tractor Supply and it has never failed me, although I don't get the frothy type of foam. If I need frothy foam, I just use my Griot's Garage BOSS Foam cannon which has never failed me. The only word of advice I would give about foam cannons, to keep them working flawlessly and like new, is to just rinse it out thoroughly, including the foam cannon head itself. If you don't rinse them out, that's when you get problems. If you rinse them after each and every use with either a rinseless wash solution or just plain, clear water, you will most likely never have a problem with your foam cannon. I would assume that the same principles would apply to a hand held foam sprayer like the IK or a Marolex or something like that. I am like Rick though, I have tried four or five different foamers and not one of them has ever worked correctly. I just use the regular spraying type that delivers the chemical from the bottle in a spray pattern. Maybe I just have used too much product in my previous foamers, it could very well have been using far too much product. I'd like to try out one of the automatic pump foamers that are now sold where you don't have to pump it up. The newer all in one units that self pump and spray the foam. Maybe I will try one out in the future, although again, that regular sprayers have treated me well and I personally would rather have the more wet normal spray over the foam. Sometimes that shaving cream foam gets too diluted or too aerated, light and frothy, and does cling well, but that can also have a negative effect because with the product being so aerated, it is sitting on top of the tire, or paintwork, but not really SATURATING the dirt, grime, and debris, softening it up as well as just spraying regular spray (non foam) of product onto the paintwork or tires. I have personally found through my own use of products that, for me, using the regular spray and just dousing the area with a regular TOLCO sprayer head and saturating the dirt, grime, and debris a little more thoroughly and allowing the chemical to penetrate and flood the area of product, it has a lot more effect in breaking down the dirt and debris before your rinse off or agitation stage. I have no idea why so many people get hooked on having "FOAM", Foam isn't always the best way to break down dirt and grime effectively. Sometimes just using a regular sprayer (non foaming) is far more effective than using thick, shaving cream foam, which looks cool and is fun for sure, but just might not be the most effective way to get effective softening and removal of the dirt and grime of whatever you are cleaning. I personally would rather have a runny foam coming out of my foam cannon, a good balance between foam and runny, but clinging enough for a few seconds to start breaking down dirt and debris. That way, its not just sitting pretty on top of the paint and not really doing it's job to break down dirt and debris because it was too aerated to penetrate the actual dirt, grime, and debris underneath of the foam. Runnier foam, and regular product application (non foaming) onto the paint work seems to get underneath of the dirt or at least gives enough penetration through product saturation being able to break down dirt, baked on grime, and other debris far better. Try it out both ways to make your own assessment, but again, foam isn't always the best method of breaking down dirt and debris. Any type of pre-spray (foam or regular) is far better than nothing at all when you are attempting to flush away the accumulated road film on your paintwork. Even a plain water rinse can be effective in removing a good amount of road grime with a pressure washer or even a garden hose with a sprayer attachment on it if you are concerned about using too much product, but that's really a mute point as soap, even good quality soap, is fairly inexpensive. Great explanation Pan. Your wealth of knowledge and experience related to detailing products and the nuances of the handheld foam sprayers and what can aide in giving you a better experience in using one is evident here in your detailed and informative explanation. Nice seeing you both together, two of my favorite detailers, and friendly neighbors from the North.
So pleased to know the correct way to do it cos I bought one today, but think I might get the battery one when I can 😊. Thanks heaps for this video Pan👍
A foam cannon always attaches to a pressure washer. If you have just a garden hose, you could look into a foam gun (not a foam cannon). Those obviously won't generate as much foam as a proper foam cannon and pressure washer setup though. To give you an idea, see my comparison video of a foam cannon VS a foam gun : ruclips.net/video/rJPk8nR8Ib0/видео.htmlsi=Y-Pi69rygRhvD16Y
Thanks for the reply your products are great. I own a pump one and a pressure washer but so much work to get it out and use saw that chemical guys had one that just hooked up to a hose not a pressure washer.

@@PanTheOrganizer i've been watching you for years and have bought many of the products you tested , my wife may not like you too much thou. have tried your shampoo and love it. need to use up the other products first. sorry to hear the Adams advance was going bad after 2 1/2 years, that's what applied on my 3 cars.
Hehe tell your wife that Pan approves all your future purchases. ;) And yeah the Adam's actually did quite well for 2.5 years. We do have harsh winters with road salt here in Montreal, and the car is often kept outside all day long, so naturally I didn't expect it to actually last 9 years. I would have liked 4+ years though.
Nice collaboration Pan ! Personal message to Rick : Let's see if you will get some reverse foam with it 🤣🤣🤣 All jokes aside, go for the Pro + version with the schrader valve that will avoid arm fatigue 😜 Cheers to you all guys 😉
Two of my favorite Canadians in the same video, fantastic! I too struggled a bit with dilutions from time to time but found a sweet spot with Brake Buster in my IK Foam Pro2. However, I am still getting mixed results for actual soaps in the Foam Pro 12. It sounds like 32:1 is a good starting point and would be easier this way for pre diluting with gallon jugs for consistency. Rick, I'd highly recommend stocking up on those filters as I have found those to be the majority of my issues getting good decent foam.
Hi Mark. I haven't used Touch-Less in an IK foamer, so you'd have to follow the instructions on the label, or contact BH for assistance. Getting the correct PIR takes calculations, it's not a simple task with BH products unfortunately.
I can’t believe all it took was a 25 minute video to address my IK pressure sprayer issue. I have both types, and the regular sprayer works fine, but like Rick, I could never get the foam I had seen on videos. Thanks for this. I feel a little embarrassed that I never reached out to find out what I was doing wrong. And as Pan has said, the Marolex sprayers work really great as well. Now I have 5 sprayers (2 - IK and 3 Marolex) in my arsenal. 😂😂🇨🇦🇨🇦
Just used my new MTM PF22.2 FOAM CANNON with my Active 2.0 and I had a decent foam but really wet. I’m using DIY Incredible Suds. How do I dry it up a bit? The orifice is the 1.25 mm
@9252LIFE I actually have two of these MTM Foam Cannons: different generations. You should change the orifice to the 1.1 included one. If that doesn't work, increase the amount of car soap you use. I like putting in around 6 OZs and filling the rest with hot water. If that doesn't work, your electric pressure washer just doesn't have enough PSI/GPM. You can try different soaps. Meguairs Gold Standard makes decent foam
Awesome video; very informative! I was wondering Pan since we both live in Canada; me on the East Coast and you in Quebec, would you be able to do a video at some point about rust proofing our vehicles? That would be awesome! Keep up the great work! Also I love your I've been using your Clean line for the past three weeks and they are amazing! Love the smells!
Keep in mind all the other factors we spoke about in the video to get good foam. Many variables. What soap are you using? What dilution? Is your foam filter clogged or used inside the pump head? Do you have hard water issues? etc
He pan got a question, but it’s outside of the video Anyways if I use meguiras Ultimate snow foam or turtle wax Snow foam on a regular car soap will it enhance foaming ?
PAN - I really wish I would have known you were coming to Omaha! I live about 20 miles south of DIY Detail. I would have loved to shake your hand and say hi while you were at DIY, or when you explored Harbor Freight! By the way, just purchased my first "Clean by Pan" product--Panel Prep Spray. I still have plenty of other products from your earlier recommendations; but I'm looking forward to when they're used up so I can explore more "Clean" products. That said; I may have to buy additional products ahead of schedule to take advantage of your Black Friday Month!
Sunshine has nothing to do with the performance of a pump sprayer. For the wind, it can be an issue even with a regular trigger sprayer. So you have to adjust accordingly.
Awesome video Pan! My question, and i think you touched on it a bit, is which sprayer do i use for which application? I think you mentioned the regular sprayer for rinseless, could the foaming also be used for rinseless? Is it important to have multiple sprayer to ensure we limit cross contamination between products or would proper cleaning between each use of different chemicals be sufficient? A quick rundown of what each sprayer would be used for would be awesome. Thanks again for the content.
It’s as simple as this: products meant to foam in the foaming pump sprayers. Products that aren’t meant to foam in the regular pump sprayer. Most rinseless washes aren’t meant to be foamed. Only a handful can foam a bit like the DIY Detail but there is not advantage to having it foam.
Hi Pan, can you please review the new Koenigsegg ghost line of cleaning products? And what are your thoughts on an OEM co-developing their own line up?
I just wanted to say thank you for another great video. This video did help me with some of question I have about the Ik foam pro. Another question I do have, is how to do you actually mix the chemicals in the foam pro. Should you put the water in first and then the soap or vice versa? When you put the soap in the container, should you shake the container with the soap? One of the biggest problems I have is when I put soap in the water, the soap just goes straight to the bottom and it does not seem to mix in the water? How do i fix this issue or it just supposed to be that way. Or should you use a stirrer to mix the water and the soap, any recommendation on what to stir it with? Thank you for any advice you can give me, another great video!

Yeah start with 1 oz in the pump sprayer and add more if you feel you want more foam. Keep in mind more foam doesn’t mean more cleaning power. It’s just visual bliss hehe.
Yayyy Rick, i have both I.k's the foampro2 and the multipro and i have had good luck with my foam pro using Stjarnagloss sno in it, i get amazing foam! I hope when you go home you get amazing foam from your sprayer!🥰
It's a question of personal preference really. I like Retyre from the bottle it comes with, with the CarPro foaming trigger sprayer. Not the best spray pattern but it works. If you want to buy a gallon size and pour some in a foaming pump sprayer you can do that too.
I’ve been guilty of having sub par foam when using my IK foam sprayer since about a week after I purchased it. Thanks to you guys I’m officially a foaming pro. Why the heck wasn’t this video included in the instructions!?
@ It was actually the little O ring in the tip. It started sputtering out of the tip when I’d pump it lol. I just changed it out with the other tip that came with it as a sort of temporary working solution but it was a very wet not foamy foam. I noticed the O ring was lodged in there all screwy and after getting it set right it’s been working great! Thanks again!
Hi Daniel. Did you watch the entire video? You should always dilute your soaps. As we mentioned in this video, Yvan's recommended dilution for this pump sprayer was 1:32 So we used 1 oz of soap in the pump sprayer and filled the rest with water.
I've been so irritated with my IK Foam Pro 2. Initially bought it to use on my wheels using Brake Buster, but just sputtered from the get go. Haven't used it for well over a yr now. Will pull it out again and try your troubleshooting. I want to use it for the winter before using it at the wash bay. Thx for this video. As usual, love your content!! :)

Pan, on a chilly day in the northeast I decided to use my foam pump prayer to give my dirty car a quick wash. I went back to this older video to get some recommendation on a good foaming car wash to use with it. Other than the DIY product in your link, what other brands can you recommend?
The gallon size is certainly the way to go. My question is still will it give the nice foam in a pump sprayer? I don’t need it for a wash bucket and I won’t be dragging out the pressure washer for the job.
Yes it will still give nice foam in a foaming pump sprayer. Just play with your dilutions a bit to see what works best for the consistency of foam you prefer. Keep in mind, this isn't the way to wash the car in a touchless way. Foaming the soap on is for the pre-wash, and you still need to rinse that off the surface, before going to the bucket wash. You need to do a contact wash to get the car clean. So I'm not sure what your game plan is... If you don't have a pressure washer that's fine, but you do need a garden hose to rinse off the foam. Watch my latest winter wash tutorial: ruclips.net/video/-nSlnlxKDG4/видео.htmlsi=UrCT3S_lVEQAbhgx
@@PanTheOrganizer I have a pressure washer, but it’s not something I want to hook up each time I wash a car. I do have a hose I always hook up to wash a car.
I wanted to share my experience without watching the video yet. Hopefully I can get a few tips and tricks from the IK Foamer. I just received a brand new Foam Pro 2 and when I pressurized it the foamer leaked from all of the seals. Everything snug and it’s all brand new. Hopefully I can figure out what happened in this video. Edit: Finished the video. I was using Brake Buster 3:1 with distilled water. I haven’t tried it again after my first leaky experience. I’ll give it another go and I’ll contact support if I have issues.
You’re not alone in having challenges right out of the box. This exact thing has happened to me on more than one occasion with IK products. Thats why I opted for a pair of Marolex sprayers.
Is the point of a foam sprayer to spray your vehicle with a foam initially right out of the gate prior to doing anything else to help bring to the surface all of the dirt/grime/sediment to rinse the surface prior to then beginning your wash/detail? I have a Ford F150 Raptor so I'd be getting an insane arm pump with that IK foam Pro every time at the wash lol
Correct. You would normally start a wash process with a foam cannon, spraying a layer of foam on the surface, to help lift and start to encapsulate en emulsify loose dirt and debris, and rinse that off, BEFORE the contact wash (soapy water in a bucket, with your wash mitt). We call the snow foam step a "pre-wash". It's in an effort to minimize the chances of swirling or scratching your paint when doing the contact wash, as the pre-wash took care of a good amount of the dirt and grit. Not everyone has a foam cannon and pressure washer setup, so having a foaming pump sprayer can be an alternative for the pre-wash stage, as you fill the container with the soapy solution and spray away as you saw here. There will eventually be a battery powered version of the IK Foam Pro 2 pump sprayer. For larger vehicles like your Raptor, they already have a battery powered larger format which I reviewed in this video: ruclips.net/video/I5WRp8bvTAU/видео.htmlsi=Qv8HKJ0OoIQZOoT9 You can also use that foaming pump sprayer with a wheel & tire cleaner (like Brake Buster diluted 1:3 in the pump sprayer) and foam that onto your wheels and tires and use brushes and mitts to clean wheels, it works super well. See my wheel and tire cleaning tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/omwcNcSYcS8/видео.htmlsi=A7AoYkoD9HfLvf_D
@@PanTheOrganizer Excellent. Thank you Pan. I've seen that IK Foam Pro 2 pump sprayer I've been considering, and I've been watching your videos since at least 2016-2017 when I had my first new BMW I wanted to take great care of, and now I have a new black F150 Raptor that I want to keep looking brand new as black tends to look rough if you don't manage it well. I may grab a pressure washer to foam cannon and do washes at home, like the Active 2.0 I've seen you talk about, but I'll probably wait until slightly warmer weather (March time frame), so I wanted to try and get something for now that I can foam prior to a contact wash at a local car wash. Appreciate the response.

Let’s stick to the facts. Rick never claimed to be a professional detailer. He’s a teacher that is passionate about detailing. And he’s certainly not a liar. It’s not that he was getting zero foam. He just wasn’t getting great foam. Believe it or not, I often receive messages from viewers who can’t get a foaming pump sprayer to foam well or even a foam cannon to foam well. There are so many variables at stake. The Rag Company had many videos on the topics a few years ago as they were getting many calls and emails from frustrated customers who couldn’t get their IK pump sprayer to foam and often times it was simply user error. So it’s important to share tips and tricks as many people benefit from watching videos like this.

You’re very welcome, enjoy the foam!
Rad! Thanks for sharing your foam results with the community!
Always a pleasure to hang out with you my friend!

The Foam Pro 2 doesn’t come with a Schrader valve? I thought I heard Pan say that was the difference from the earlier model.
this is why I subscribe for content that is insightful and helpful. Please keep making these types of videos. Thank you!

Thank you for this video I have 2 of these foamers and they have been riding the bench for 2 years. I took them apart made sure everything is right and pumped it until the air release and I have perfect foam..I will be putting them back in the starting line up!
Thanks again!
That’s great news!
Glad to hear they're back in action! 🙏🏻
I use the Milwaukee M18 tire inflator to keep my IK pump sprayer going forever. Foam never stops coming out since the tire inflator keeps the PSI around 30-40 PSI
Cool hack!
Yes I’m looking forward to that new compressor version too

Hi how are you. What foam and shampoo do I use to prepare the car for polishing or ceramic coating?
Awesome, keep the foam flowing! 🤘
The maintenance tip that Pan is describing with a warm water is the most important thing with sprayers bottles pumps whatever wash them out.
👍🏻
Thanks, Pan. Yes, he will be successful.
I use an iK Foam Pro 12 with the default medium setting soap metering orifice. The soap I use is Gyeon's Foam, diluted to a 4% solution by volume in distilled water and filling it only about ½ way up. The canister does get fully pressurized and it is a good aerobic exercise for me. The foam I get is fantastic and cleans the car really well. I also fill the canister with clear water at the end and flush the soap residue out of everything by pumping clear water through it.
I use the word the non foaming for rinseless weekly. Love it.

Hahaha that would could have been a Netflix series for sure! 😂😂👍🏻
@ How’s Geist holding up on your leather?
What is the best foam cannon that only hooks up to a garden hose

Hehe tell your wife that Pan approves all your future purchases. ;) And yeah the Adam's actually did quite well for 2.5 years. Well-timed video, Pan! I really need to get my pump sprayer situation sorted out. Especially with rinse-less season coming up.
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful.
Thanks for sharing your experience, that's great feedback, keep experimenting with dilutions!
Talk about timeing!! I just got my marolex axel 3000 excellent video as aways!! ✅️🇨🇦

What's Best dilution for bilthamber touchless snow foam on ik snow foamer?
BH dilution rates are way above my head.
Hi Mark. I haven't used Touch-Less in an IK foamer, so you'd have to follow the instructions on the label, or contact BH for assistance. Getting the correct PIR takes calculations, it's not a simple task with BH products unfortunately.
@PanTheOrganizer thanks Pan! Keep up the good reviews! I'm very happy with it!
I just bought a pair of Marolex sprayers.
@ Truthfully, IK makes a great trigger sprayer, especially with the new heads, but I prefer the Marolex pressure sprayers over the IK ones.

Just used my new MTM PF22.2 FOAM CANNON with my Active 2.0 and I had a decent foam but really wet. I’m using DIY Incredible Suds. How do I dry it up a bit? The orifice is the 1.25 mm
Did you close the valve on the foam cannon all the way?
Switch to a gas powered pressure washer and get amazing foam. GPM matters. Add more soap and change the orifice too
@@azayreyes4917 yes
@@henri6595 I’m inside a closed building.
Hey Pan, any updated tools/chemicals for cleaning headliners?

Thanks for the feedback Stephen! Glad to hear you are enjoying CLEAN By Pan products!
Great video guys. I always used the orange tip based on the box description but the foam has not been great. I will now try the grey one.
Keep in mind all the other factors we spoke about in the video to get good foam. Many variables. What soap are you using? What dilution? Is your foam filter clogged or used inside the pump head? Do you have hard water issues? etc
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you Pan, all very good points for sure.

He pan got a question, but it’s outside of the video
Anyways if I use meguiras Ultimate snow foam or turtle wax Snow foam on a regular car soap will it enhance foaming ?

Which works best with bilt hamber touchless?
Pan & Rick, on DIY's base 🔥🔥🔥
👍🏻👍🏻
Lots of good info. Thanks for the video. How do any of these products work in the real world of my driveway outdoors with wind and sunshine?
Sunshine has nothing to do with the performance of a pump sprayer. For the wind, it can be an issue even with a regular trigger sprayer. So you have to adjust accordingly.
As always, great learning video! I now know that I'm not pumping mine up enough so the foam is weak.
Glad the video was helpful.
@ thanks as always Pan!
No worries. Have a good weekend Karl!

@PanTheOrganizer You're welcome. I appreciate your dedication to the community.
Normally put the water in first as if you add it second it can end up foaming all over the place .... And yes give it a mix prior to using it
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😄

How do we get reverse foaming action (from bottom to the top) out of a IK foamer? 😛
😂😂
It’s a trade secret.
Koch Chemie GSF is one of the best foam for that canon
If you have a product that naturally foams when spraying (something like CarPro ReTyre) would you use that in a Pump Foamer or Pump Sprayer?
It's a question of personal preference really. I like Retyre from the bottle it comes with, with the CarPro foaming trigger sprayer. Not the best spray pattern but it works. If you want to buy a gallon size and pour some in a foaming pump sprayer you can do that too.
Curious to know if the new Clean Shampoo will foam using an IK Foam Pro 2 foaming pump sprayer or would you need a cannon + pressure washer ?
You can make any shampoo foam with an IK Foam Pro 2 pump sprayer. So yes.
I’ve been guilty of having sub par foam when using my IK foam sprayer since about a week after I purchased it. Thanks to you guys I’m officially a foaming pro. Why the heck wasn’t this video included in the instructions!?
@@joetalksskating7382 That’s great news. What was the defining factor?
@ It was actually the little O ring in the tip. It started sputtering out of the tip when I’d pump it lol. I just changed it out with the other tip that came with it as a sort of temporary working solution but it was a very wet not foamy foam. I noticed the O ring was lodged in there all screwy and after getting it set right it’s been working great! Thanks again!
Was the product not diluted because it was recommended as such or to get more intense foaming ?
Hi Daniel. Did you watch the entire video? You should always dilute your soaps. As we mentioned in this video, Yvan's recommended dilution for this pump sprayer was 1:32
So we used 1 oz of soap in the pump sprayer and filled the rest with water.
well of course he has Pan the Organizer assisting him!!!!!!

@@PanTheOrganizer Would love to get a tire/wheel cleaner by CLEAN. ;) Anything in the works yet? :)
Pan, on a chilly day in the northeast I decided to use my foam pump prayer to give my dirty car a quick wash. I went back to this older video to get some recommendation on a good foaming car wash to use with it. Other than the DIY product in your link, what other brands can you recommend?
My top recommendation would be my own CLEAN By Pan Shampoo which you can find here: tinyurl.com/y2j9mtws

For larger vehicles like your Raptor, they already have a battery powered larger format which I reviewed in this video: ruclips.net/video/I5WRp8bvTAU/видео.htmlsi=Qv8HKJ0OoIQZOoT9
You can also use that foaming pump sprayer with a wheel & tire cleaner (like Brake Buster diluted 1:3 in the pump sprayer) and foam that onto your wheels and tires and use brushes and mitts to clean wheels, it works super well.
16:51 You look like you got a lot a practice pumping
I'm gonna say yes. Glean your damn nozzles BABY!
anyone use the amazon electric foamer with the Rubbit solution? Curious if it suds well?
Failure is not an option for Rick when you have Pan on your side.
When it comes to Auto Detailing Pan definitely knows more on this subject than AI.
I appreciate that! 🙏🏻
So it takes DIY Detail and a trip to Omaha to bring you two together?😁
We also met in person at the Creator’s Summit at Car Supplies Warehouse in Chicago in 2023. :)
Rick lives out in Calgary in Western Canada and I’m from Montreal on the East Coast. Many hours of plane ride separate us unfortunately.
If he was in the same city we’d see each other all the time. He is such a great human.
No way I'm pumping that much to foam a car. That's a full workout.
Hehe Marolex pump sprayers I find keep their pressure longer. But IK will have a small battery powered sprayer soon.
Never had issues with foam, my issue was it never held the pressure.
I heard they are releasing a battery powered version. :)
Thanks so much time to change my filter
You're welcome!
👍👍

Jesus the bots are out in force on this video
Yeah all content creators have issues like that. We report them to RUclips but nothing is being done.
I live in god's own country of Scotland with beautifully soft water so suffer none of these issues others experience.....not even water spotting
Thanks for watching Peter! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 150 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
@PanTheOrganizer been watching you for a while and Jon here in the UK along with our very own Speky McSporan
Whats wirh all the bot comments? 5/5
It’s becoming more and more of an issue for all content creators. We report them to RUclips but nothing is being done about it.
So I'm supposed to sit here believing professional detailer couldn't get an IK sprayer to foam ? ? ? 🙄🤔 Come on man !!
What exactly is a belated professional detailer?
@@RADGaragehe never said he was a professional detailer… he has a youtube channel, since when having a youtube channel makes you automatically a professional 🤦🏻♂️
Believe it or not Rick did have issues getting foam with an IK. I think some of it was defective products.
@@bstewartexecutivecarcare3797If you love what you do regardless if you get paid or not, then you don't need to be called a professional. To profess in the business world is to sell people quality. People have grown and relied on the "professional" attachment.
😢
Really nice video as your knowledge and ability to explain the product shined. I have these sprayers abc they work like new even after years. By all means purchase the model which has a valve for air. My shoulder ended up in therapy from pumping 50-70 pumps. Thank you for the video and I hope your family is doing well.
Yeah I agree Neil. The model with a valve is a must. They are apparently releasing a new version with integrated battery pump!
