How often should you wash a vehicle? What about if it drives about 2,500 miles per week? I drive pure black Livery (limo) SUV's I take it thru the automatic car wash place about once a day, but would LOVE if the black paint actually stayed BLACK... and stayed cleaner longer. Any suggestions?
Limo drivers and taxi drivers have it tough as the car is always exposed to the elements and if you go to an automatic car wash every day, even the best ceramic coatings will eventually fail (even though they last way longer compared to regular waxes or sealants). Your best bet would be to stay on top of things by having a ceramic coating applied, and then maintaining that coating with a silica spray sealant once every two weeks. The paint should at least stay glossy and slick (even though it will accumulate swirls and scratches).
@@PanTheOrganizer exactly! I yse the turkle wax and dry... I think? The green bottle. And it will look great, but one MAYBE 2 trips thru the car wash and it's gone.... not to mention the black just isn't black. When we first by them they look great, and in less then a few months they start to show ALL the swirls and are not shiny. And I've looked for the "black" products at Wal-Mart, Target, Auto zone even Lowes... lol and NO ONE has them. 😥
@@PanTheOrganizer hey pan, can i use carpro reset for hand washing my car eventough my car doesnt have any protection on it(no wax and no ceramic coat) ? Or should i use some other shampoo?

@markimark65 The ridiculous part is the idiot who thanks him because he thinks he's doing something for public benefit, and is clueless this video and links are all for money.
Could you do a video where you try to clean your car at a public self wash station? For example some people have nice cars but live in apartment complexes. It would be interesting to see how youd organize a 'esential cleaning pack' that you can take in the car and basically do the stuff there and only use the water from the wash :) not their brush🤢 Awesome video nonetheless
I use a public self wash station as i live in a apartment, i take my detailing bag with various chemicals; wheel cleaner, pre wash in a pump sprayer and shampoo, drying towels. Take it even further you can carry 3 buckets filled with water and take them to the wash bay and crack on
I somehow just discovered your channel and have been tearing through videos. I can’t get enough! Just wanted to drop a comment here and say today was my first time pre-treating the car using your recommended sprayer and product. Wow amazing results! Also picked up a tire brush (big difference), and finally upgraded from a hose + foam gun to a pressure washer + foam cannon. The results are remarkable. Thanks and keep doing what you’re doing it’s very helpful!

Love the way this video is formatted Pan, very easy to absorb and see the content. Would absolutely love an interior guide in this style! I've been able to reduce my washes to about 60-90 minutes but I find myself spending hours on the interior.

Yet another great video Pan. It’s early morning and I just came in from washing my vehicle. Love the step by step approach to detailing. I’m now so confident and have a relaxing time washing my vehicle. Such a great feeling to look out in the sun and see a beautifully clean car. I’m always learning and experimenting and usually say “ what would Pan do?” Because of you I now use a spray wax as a drying agent and no more water spots! Thanks again and look forward to your next video.
My blue 2017 GMC Sierra truck still looks amazing after 3 years of cleaning it properly thanks to your earlier "2018 regular maintenance wash vid". Even though it's a "truck" I treat it as if it's my own Porsche 911 dream vehicle. I took the truck to a professional to have it paint prepped and ceramic coated immediately after viewing that video and it was worth every penny. Bought better soap, buckets, drying cloths, detail spray and wheel/tire dressings. The truck still looks better than it did brand new after every wash. A standard wash without detail spray is usually about a 2 hour project but it's definitely relaxing and rewarding. Congrats on the new ride and thanks for continuing to educate us with your passionate knowledge on keeping our vehicles looking their best. Cars are much like clothing. If it looks good, you will most likely feel good while driving it! One subject I would love more info on is using quick detail spray on cars that haven't been washed in a week. Quick detail spray always has me worried that I'm going to scratch the vehicle while just cleaning up bird droppings or wanting to clean a hood without having to wash the entire vehicle. Do they work as well as they claim?
If using a detail spray for anything other than a drying aid. You should only use it on a fairly clean car surface to remove light dust or finger prints. Not on bird droppings, dirt, or any large particles.
Pan, I enjoy your videos on car detailing and cleaning. You have mentioned before about troublesome water spotting when rinsing the car after washing. I have found a way to eliminate this effect completely. I do a final rinse with store-bought distilled water which dries absolutely clean with no residue whatsoever. I use a battery-powered pressure washer (I have a Dewalt unit that works great.) that can be fed from a 5-gallon bucket containing the distilled water. Four to five gallons are enough to rinse the card. It is especially good in the gaps between panels where it is very hard to dry with a towel. It only costs about $7 for the water. I also use this system for my house windows.
I have a water deionizer setup that eliminates 100% of water spots as it has zero minerals. Super simple setup. I presented that in this video: ruclips.net/video/IKNL1chAQXY/видео.htmlsi=NU2j0wY2Un1SyQ0U
Absolute perfection. A joy to watch as always. Love the hose gaurd for tires, you're amazing pan! I personally have stopped using the rim brush, noticed minor scratches recently. Little more work, but using a dedicated rim wash mit instead, now got too many mits!
Hey pan, I think you missed one thing that I always make sure to take care of during or after the detail. The windshield wiper wipe down at some point during the wash because if the windows are clean but the wipers aren't it will get it dirty again! :) other than that, perfect video as always!
@@bzmouse after detailing the car you want to take a damp microfiber towel and pinch both wiper blades one at a time and floss them with the towel back and forth a few times before putting them down back on the glass. Assuming this is also done after you clean the exterior front winshield. Cleaning the wipers after every wash ensures you don't contaminate the glass so quickly after washing. No product needed just water ;)
DOOR JAMBS… I know you did them but I don’t recall you mentioning it. Another great video Pan. I wouldn’t mind seeing an in depth video on how you get into the tight spaces in the door jambs. Or link one you have already done.
Or .. if the jams are well maintained.. simply use your mitt with soap. When rinsing the water will flush it out. Every couple months i will get in there good with ONR.

So glad I found you, Pan…your ‘top-to bottom’ thorough explanations, along with alternatives…is perfect for me. SO much help!!
Pan, once again, absolutely outstanding and strong work! I appreciate updated tutorials on washing, detailing techniques. Reinforces my "patchwork" of knowledge from watching your other videos, and "weaves" it all together. Really appreciate it,Pan!! Query: is TW Graphene Flex Aid an acceptable "drying aid" if you have already applied it as a dry base coat?
Thanks Richard! Yes you can use it as a drying aid once the base layer is applied but I wouldn’t recommend it after each wash. Maybe once a month. It’s a pretty durable spray on protection so don’t overdo it.
Hello Pan, ONCE AGAIN, EXCELLENT!! I've been detailing since I was 16 years old...You are one of the best detailers I have ever seen...Your channel has already given me some new ideas on how to be the best detailer I can be! THANK YOU SIR for that... Thanks man!! #DETAILKING

One tip I came up with my self when dealing with spray on and rinse off sealants.. work from the bottom up when you rinse with the pressure washer.. less likely to have the drippings from the washing going on up top carrying off any product before you have a chance to set it in with pressure on the lower parts. Love it or hate it.. I found this method works well for insuring everything is going on more evenly.
I always love Pan videos. I love how the products were listed in the order that he was talking about them. That was the best part. I didn’t have to pause the video and go looking for the product in the description. Another great video Pan. Of course we want to see the interior. Keep them coming. Love it!!
Hi Pan, I recommend the new single bucket wash method, it guarantees no dirt gets on your wash mitts. You just need 1 bucket of soap and 6-8 wash mitts. Use the wash mitts and dip in soap once per panel and then set aside. This means you are using a new wash mitt per panel and guaranteed no dirt in your soap bucket since it’s a new mitt every time. Hope this helps in the future :)
I saw another guy do this with microfibre cloths folder in 4. He would use 1 cloth for 2 panels or so, flipping the cloth to a fresh side each time. Then toss it aside and grab a fresh one.

I love the Tuf Shine products for the wheels! Wash and Coating product melts the dirt and brake dust away. Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat utilizes a formula that doesn’t contain any silicones or oils - and creates a coating that lasts!
One area you didn't cover in washing a car is to clean and dress the inner wheel wells. I typically clean well as I clean the wheels and then when I dress the tires (I use Mequiars natural shine protectant), I spray the inner wheel wells and use a scrap piece if towel to work it in to the surface. It makes the wheel wells look so great. I picked up this habit from watching preowned dealers and wholesalers spray a dressing on the inner wheel wells to make them look better.
There’s been four great tire dressing for me Pan, VRP, The car guys dressing and Matt’s obsessed garage, and I’m currently messing around with Adams graphing tire dressing which is quite expensive but seems to hold up well!
Great vid🙂. Your tip on using a rinse less wash spray before foam wash is excellent. I’ve been doing it and the wash is much easier and less contaminants to scratch the vehicle. 👍🏽
Butch I understand the less contaminants bit, but how does it make the wash easier for you? This isn’t a step I’m doing yet but thinking about incorporating it.
@@ianirwin5405 I would normally foam the car, let it sit then rinse. Then foam (instead of dipping my wash mitt in soapy water) and use that foam to hand wash. So I did what Pan did, spray the rinse less wash, let it sit, and then proceed to my foam wash. The rinse less wash is supposed to be designed to remove dirt better. So thats what I do now, maybe I’m wrong, but Pan is more experienced than me so I followed his instructions. I tried it and I like it, but everyone’s conditions are different.
On my comment on it being easier: I think it’s easier because It seems like the rinse less wash removes a lot more dirt than a foam pre wash so my foam hand wash is faster. But again everyone’s conditions and results are different.
Over the last 34 years of washing and finishing my 1988 IROC the process has changed, although I have always (beginning in the 70s with my first car) washed it twice a week. Back in the early 90s a fantastic product that came out was a colored wax: I chose the red to match the "burgundy" color of my car. As we all know, no matter how careful one is when buffing out the wax, invariably there would be a number of small spots of dried white wax. The color wax at least hides the presence of these spots in all of the nooks and cranies. I recently began using a foam cannon (MJJC). I foam the entire car, let it dwell, then rinse. I repeat the foaming and rinsing. Then I hand wash with a two bucket method (also new process for me). I use a leaf blower to dry out the hood louvers and then, finally, I use Turtle Wax Flex Wax as a drying agent; however, I spray it on, rub/spread it with a microfiber towel, then use a large drying towel. BTW: one thing that my father taught me was, that if you drive your car in the winter--especially where the scourge known as salt is used on the roads--rinse out the wheel well lips as often as possible. My 1979 Camaro, which I drove in the winters, was rust free until it was totalled in 1988.

Had my first washing after 8 weeks of garage keeping. Don't yet have a pressure washer but the Eley hose sprayer nozzle set worked fine. I was not able to foam but otherwise followed the pattern in the video. As the car was just professionally finished and ceramic coated the results were great. I finished with Gyeon Wet Coat on the wheels and a Carpro Hydro2 Lite wet spray while towel drying the glass and paint. Looks too nice to drive. I can't thank you enough Pan.
When you foamed it from the start you let it sit a few minutes and then started to bucket wash it That is fine if you are starting out with a fairly clean car but if you have a car with a lot of road grime, bugs, dirt etc. Should you not rinse that foam off first after letting it dwell a couple minutes and then start your two bucket wash?
@@tomacheteful I have yet to watch a single video of Pan's (meaning that I'm not some "fan" of his). I'm considering watching this one but wanted to first read a handful of comments to help me decide whether I think it might be worth watching. In reading just a few comments, I did already see one (3mos before your comment, I think) asking why he contact-washed the foam, instead of rinsing it and THEN contact-washing, and his explanation was precisely what Josh said-- that the car was already clean enough that it didn't require the two separate steps. Just wanted to let you know that you seemed to have formed the wrong impression (and then typed it out :-) ). Cheers.

I just did a great wash using these techniques though I'm still waiting for my pressure washer. With the ELY Hose/QD/Sprayer Nozzle Set I can lay down a powerful spray, much like a pressure washer. A Foamaster foam gun at the highest setting and full Strength Adams makes plenty of rich clinging foam in no time. I disconnected the clunky spray gun and QD attachment from the canister and screwed it directly on to the ELY nozzle so I wouldn't have to constantly squeeze the handle, replacing the sprayer nozzle after foaming. I've gone from newbie to enthusiast in record time. Thank you Pan for all your tips and tricks.

@17:34 Also really quick, if you use have a coating on your car, you can use free flowing water to dry it faster. (What I mean by that is the removal of the hose head or power washer spray tip so the stream is laminar/smooth.) I usually start at the roof and let smooth stream sheet all of the beads off of the paint and glass (This works on wheels too). Then the car should be around 70-90% dry. Follow up with a spray wax, detailer or use a leaf blower/air blaster. If you live a hot/humid environment like me, this makes the leaf blower drying go by faster. The glass is probably the hardest to dry because if you miss a spot you’ll have water spots everywhere. **Just a small tip for anyone who also uses a leaf blower to dry their coated car**
The waffle weave towels work great for glass…..I use a microfiber towel to rinse and remove the dirt…..I go over after cleaning with the waffle weave with a small hit of glass cleaner. Basically microfiber to remove the dirt and waffle weave to remove the streaks. For door jambs fuel doors, I use a dedicated microfiber towel that Does NOT touch the external paint.

A question for you Pan.... Rather than trying to eliminate (or at least minimize) the dirt you potentially carry back to your car using only one wash mitt and 2 buckets w/ grit guards, would it not be safer and more effective to just have 4 or 5 wash mitts (or whatever) in the soap bucket... use one... put it in a "Spent" bucket when you've finished a section... Then grab a totally clean one from the soap bucket for the next section? The "Spent" bucket could also be filled with a microfiber detergent solution to get that cleaning process started immediately. BTW.... That car is a gorgeous car.... KILLER COLOR!
Thanks Steve. There are many different methods to wash cars safely. I have been detailing for 25 years and I use the technique that works best for me. My cars are pristine and I wash my car twice weekly. Not a single scratch on it. Plus, I don’t want to use five or six different wash mitts for washing and then wash them after use, etc. But people are free to use which ever method works best for them in their world, their conditions, their experience. As long as a person uses safe washing and drying methods, I see no issues. ;) Thanks for the comments about my car!
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you so much for responding, Pan. Very much appreciated. I see what you mean about having all those mitts to wash if you wash your car that often. Major drag. I'm guessing that since you do wash it so often it doesn't get as dirty as it might if you only washed once a month or longer.... Barring the mushy, road salt laden winters you guys experience up there in the great white north of course. My pleasure Steve! And yes you fully understood that part of the pleasure of detailing is having your own tailored process, your own regimen based on what tools and products you have, your experience level, if you work indoors or outdoors, if your vehicle is washed regularly or quarterly, etc. Part of the fun is coming up with your routine, and enjoying the process along the way. And of course, sitting back to enjoy the final results when you're done. Sometimes I find myself just going in my garage and having a seat, playing some tunes in the background, and just looking at my car.

Hi Pan. After seeing Scott Bley of DPC use 5 mitts from a bucket of clean soapy water and never put a dirty mitt into water after using it, I tried it and have used it ever since. I was using the 2 bucket method, but found that after ‘rinsing’ my mitt in the clean water bucket and then dunking it in the soapy solution bucket and using it to wash a car, I very quickly ended up with 2 buckets of dirty soapy solution. When i tell my clients I never dunk a wash mitt in dirty water they are intrigued and have sometimes employed me just to see how it works. I feel a multi-mitt method is best. Lloyd
There are many good techniques, you use what works best for you in your world. I have been using my method for decades now and it has always produced perfect results. My cars don't have a single scratch or swirl. I'm not about to start having 5 to 10 wash mitts for a car. Hehe. But that's certainly another good alternative.

Hey pan I was wondering what is a good way to keep dust and water spots off your paint? I just did a detail and handwash on my black gmc sierra and I did a spray on water activated graphine coating and hand dryed. It looked great but then it rained thru the night and it just looks all dusty. Any additive I can spray on to destatic the paint.
There are no miracles if you have dust issues unfortunately. Regular washing is what I'd recommend as that is what is the safest method. I wash my car twice weekly. If the car is clean, but only has a light layer of dust on it, you could use a plush microfiber towel and a detail spray to wipe it down gently. You can also use a quick detailer that has antistatic properties like this one: bit.ly/3Uvy3PZ
Pan, I need some advice. I love to wash on the weekends but with winter arriving in Minnesota here, I will not be able to wash in my driveway. My garage is heated either. Any SUGGESTIONS? Maybe make a video! I'm sure I'm not the only one! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Excellent video! I will add that, in addition to the windows, I always dry those door jams! There will always be puddles in there that the blowers won't get, and they drip onto the exterior at the most inopportune times.

Greetings from Ireland Pan. Brilliant video as always. One tip I'd like to share is when drying the car. I always turn the wing mirrors in, as water always gets trapped when washing. The water will then run down the doors saving you from having to dry the doors twice.
Pan, Love your videos. Question: before you start washing the car, after the pretreat rinse less wash, do you rinse off the initial snow-foam then re-apply a second coat of foam for use with the cleaning mitt?

On a lightly dirty car, after rinsing the snow foam, you can just go straight to the contact wash if you want. On a dirtier car, I would recommend rinsing the snow foam, then foam again, then hand wash. How did you discover my channel by the way?
@PanTheOrganizer thank you sir. I found you just by bouncing around on you tube. They left windows open in Seattle. You have the best videos and the most complete info. Thanks a lot for your work and general positivity! I would also like to learn about how do you record your videos. What equipment do you use? And what video editing software? Thanks!
How effective would you say the pre-treatment step is? In your old tutorial you didn't use that. Does it make a huge difference or can I afford to skip?
It’s little extra steps that always help prevent love marks on the paint. So yes it’s effective. I wash my car twice weekly so it’s always fairly clean and hence I don’t need to pre-treat all the time.
I think if I owned a Porche, I would go to these lengths. I own a 6 year old pickup. I still hand wash with a good soap. For the wheels, tires, and bed I use Dawn, warm water and a truck brush. Believe it or not, I've found the best way to clean glass is just plain water and a couple of shop towels. One moist, one dry, wax on wax off. Cleaners always leave some sort of streaking. I use a quick detail spray for the rocker panels. For waxing, I've recently switched from decades of using paste wax, to the Meguiar's ceramic spray stuff. I really love that product. For the tire dressing, I used to do that years ago, but don't really bother anymore. As long as they're clean. Newer tires stay black a lot better than in years past thanks to newer rubber formulations they use. I'm not after a glossy shine anyways.

Man, pan youre videos seriously are high quality, thought out, and informative. So first off, much appreciated. I do have some questions though, my main question is, how often do you use something like a bead maker or ceramic spray as a drying aid? I cant imagine youre apply bead maker twice a week when you clean your car do you? And if not, What do you use on the weeks its not needed for a drying aid? Onr? No drying aid? Also, this is more generic, but i still cant wrap my head around the differences between a quick detailer, paint sealant, and drying aid. It seem weird to me if say, i washed my car three days ago and it got dusty to use something like bead maker to clean it. Maybe im wrong and thats exactly what its for but would that not cause issues to apply a coating like that to a dirty surface?
I have a question about the drying aid, does the synthetic spray wax’s do the same thing and add that extra layer of protection for the paint ? Or do you recommend a traditional wax over the synthetic? Also is there any other spray wax’s or sealants you’d recommend for the final touch on an exterior wash to make it pop ? I personally like the Maguires spray synthetic wax. Keep up the great work man love your channel.
I have watched this video I don’t know how many times ☝️😂 You have changed the way I detail my car. I love all the new ideas 💡 you give to help make detailing more fun! Great job 👏
Question on 3 buckets, in particular the wheel bucket. You spray on a cleaner, you scrub/rub/clean. You use your hose to rinse brushes/microfiber wands. Then you rinse off. What good is a wheel bucket???
Pan, Just a heads up, I took notes on one of your step-by-step, original ceramic coating vids back when you had a black BMW I think it was. I enjoy the process too. I have the same ‘21 Turbo S, and have used your tips and tricks for over four years now and my car never looks dirty. I just wanted to add that because I wash my cars often 95% of the time I use a rinsless wash- specifically: CarPro Ech20 You can dilute it quite a bit and use it as a detail spray, lube for clay bar, or even pre rinse wash. But I use it as a rinse. Luis wash. its a very versatile product. I believe I found that product through you? I realize this is mainly for water washing but for those who don’t let get their car is very dirty Echo2 is an easy one to use inside your garage. Thanks again for the thorough vid! Dan

My audi produces alot of brake dust. Sometimes I put it up on jack stands and take the wheels off. This allows me to completely clean the wheels and calipers from all angles. Love the turbo BTW, beautiful car. 😍
I'm going to try Wet Coat after watching this - keep meaning too, but using it on the wheels is a great tip. One thing I do now (after seeing on Dallas Paint Correction I think), is I turn my wing mirrors in (and open my fuel tank cover on the BMW as it has a cap, my Renault does not it has some push in thing). Dirt gets caught in these crevices and if not caught at the shampooing stage sometimes drops down the paint work and I notice at the drying stage.
The best thing to have for drying is a car dryer or leaf blower. That way you ensure to get the water out of all the deep areas, and mirrors, door jams, grills, etc.
Quick tip: To the 60% diluted P/S Breakbuster in the foam lance, add 2 ources of CarPro Iron X snow foam. That will make is foam even more and have iron removing properties. Question: Why use a rinseless in the Step 1 vs. foaming the car, and then refoam again prior to the contact wash?
@@PanTheOrganizer I just saw the video with Yvan Lacroix. Interesting that foam works so poorly at the one thing it is supposed to be good at. Switching my regimen to using Wolfgang Ubers pre-rinse instead to give it a shot.
Great & clear description, TY Pan. Just recently bought a 2019 mercedes E450 coupe lunar blue with beige and yacht blue interior. I don't have a garage and I am trying to figure out the optimum way to self wash, protect the paint, and keep it immaculate, not easy without a garage/driveway.
I learned something new today watching the "How to Wash Your Car Like A Pro" video. I never have put a rinseless wash pre-treatment on the paint before I rinse. I will start doing that step. QUESTION: Do you see any problem using a cheaper (Big Box Hardware Store) garden pump sprayer to spray on the rinseless wash pre-treatment in place of using the auto detailing pump sprayers? In other words, will they get the job done adequately?

There is no waiting time to do anything on a new car. You can start doing things on day 1. The earlier you start cleaning, decontaminating and protecting your new car, the better. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers: Tesla Model Y: ruclips.net/video/gohks8xP5NY/видео.html Porsche 911 Carrera: ruclips.net/video/2ckiivbFqs4/видео.html Audi Q7: ruclips.net/video/t7HCBSVnizM/видео.html

Great video, I do like old Volvos, including this one, which puts up a fight when being repaired lol 😂.

I second this. Long New England winters and no indoor washing at home… The public car wash is my only real option.
I use a public self wash station as i live in a apartment, i take my detailing bag with various chemicals; wheel cleaner, pre wash in a pump sprayer and shampoo, drying towels. Take it even further you can carry 3 buckets filled with water and take them to the wash bay and crack on

Pan,
I enjoy your videos on car detailing and cleaning.
Thanks Ali!
@@PanTheOrganizer how much adam car shampoo do u add on a 2 bucket wash?
Hey pan, I think you missed one thing that I always make sure to take care of during or after the detail. The windshield wiper wipe down at some point during the wash because if the windows are clean but the wipers aren't it will get it dirty again! :) other than that, perfect video as always!
OH What do you use? I wipe it down but not with product

I simply use the McKee’s or ONR Rinseless washes as a drying aid to clean the door jambs after the wash is done.
Or .. if the jams are well maintained.. simply use your mitt with soap. When rinsing the water will flush it out. Every couple months i will get in there good with ONR.
@@Jeeper1378 many areas are very hard to reach with a mitt. Do you have any recommendations for brushes to reach those places?

Had to Wash my Car again after watching this. It didn't really need it but hey it's a Hot Sweaty labor of love. It's a allot of work but so worth it in the end.
I totally agree Mark!
I love this video…it’s going to be my new car bible for my first new car EVER (I’m 74!). I’ve watched it 3 times and I took notes, including a short list of the finishing touches that I don’t yet have. So glad I found you, Pan…your ‘top-to bottom’ thorough explanations, along with alternatives…is perfect for me. SO much help!!
😁🙌🏻
#DETAILKING
JESUS CHRIST died for you in a cross for our sins. 3 days after his death he resurrected and is The LIVING GOD. Repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in a prayer and also ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to come into you in that same prayer as well. You could come to Jesus Christ as you are, but once you accept Him, you have to become new, change, and be born again. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God Bless You.
My favorite PTO video. I watch it each time I'm ready to wash my car. I never get tired of this.
Awesome!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love it!!
Thanks for the positive feedback!
I will definitely use this method when I finally have enough wash mitts.
I lost two of my wash mitts because I forgot them at the self service car wash I go to sometimes lol.

There’s been four great tire dressing for me Pan, VRP, The car guys dressing and Matt’s obsessed garage, and I’m currently messing around with Adams graphing tire dressing which is quite expensive but seems to hold up well!
expensive, really? it's good.
Good picks Tim! PERL from CarPro is also excellent.
Great vid🙂. Your tip on using a rinse less wash spray before foam wash is excellent. I’ve been doing it and the wash is much easier and less contaminants to scratch the vehicle. 👍🏽
Thanks Butch!
On my comment on it being easier:
I think it’s easier because It seems like the rinse less wash removes a lot more dirt than a foam pre wash so my foam hand wash is faster. But again everyone’s conditions and results are different.
that's exactly what i was waiting for
😁

🙌🏻😁
When you foamed it from the start you let it sit a few minutes and then started to bucket wash it That is fine if you are starting out with a fairly clean car but if you have a car with a lot of road grime, bugs, dirt etc. Should you not rinse that foam off first after letting it dwell a couple minutes and then start your two bucket wash?
Hmmm. He doesnt respond to videos that question his methods or perceived critism.
Cheers.

And I do the five bucket one mitt method; one bucket for every section. I use the buckets as drums, too.

That is awesome! You are most welcome Lorenzo and I wish you good luck with your new business and congrats on having a new baby soon!
@17:34 Also really quick, if you use have a coating on your car, you can use free flowing water to dry it faster.
(What I mean by that is the removal of the hose head or power washer spray tip so the stream is laminar/smooth.)
I usually start at the roof and let smooth stream sheet all of the beads off of the paint and glass (This works on wheels too).
This is the culture of caring for your automobile. Love it!

As long as a person uses safe washing and drying methods, I see no issues. ;)
Thanks for the comments about my car!
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you so much for responding, Pan. Very much appreciated. I see what you mean about having all those mitts to wash if you wash your car that often. Major drag. But I would like to ask you a few questions please
First
In the stage of pre-wash you didn't mention that should we rinse it ( the pre-wash foam) or not
Second
You haven't mentioned anything about wheels
To keep it shining and clean as well as the tire
Third
You have generously introduce a loooooot of products
Would you please make it short
Not too much variety
It's kinda confusing
Forth
For the glass cleaning methods
Should we apply it on the front glass as well inside and outside or not
And how about the headlights and taillights
How do we make it looks good
Thanks again and have a wonderful time wherever you are

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
I have used your recommendations in the past, and now I have set up an active 2.0 psi washer to start detailing with a foam cannon. I enjoy detailing, although I'm a novice at it. I've always liked keeping my cars as clean as possible. Nice 911 BTW.
I do love my clean black car!! It makes me happy!! Thanks for your great videos!!
Thanks Diana! I hope you are doing well. 🙌🏻
I’m 17 years old and i want to start my car business you have helped me out a lot thank you 🙏🙏

Hey Pan,
That spec, from nose to tail is just absolutely perfect. Wouldn't change a thing if I were to have configured it myself. You lucky dawg you.
Anyway......
I was wondering if you would be interested in a Porsche Crest, cut out on our water jet table or plasma cutter in stainless steel or cold rolled steel for your wall in that garage/studio of yours?
Just a gift from us to you for creating so much insightful content over the years. Like roughly the size of your 911s bonnet maybe?
Just thought I'd ask.
When I do glass I love Stoner glass cleaner. I like to apply the solution directly on my glass cleaning towel apply to the window (1 window at a time) then I have another towel ready to buff the window. It works very well.
Yes, Invisible Glass is one of my favourite glass cleaners too. I made a popular dedicated glass cleaning tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/d9T5rW-UP2E/видео.html

@@PanTheOrganizer ok, will do, Thanks! I am just starting to learn from scratch after I got back my convertible from repair shop in Seattle all moldy and wet inside. They left windows open in Seattle. You have the best videos and the most complete info. I like that you use variety of tools and chemicals that I can buy today instead of spending hrs of searching and ordering online. That I will do later when I will organize my garage like yours. Wow!

@@PanTheOrganizer I like your channel! Good tips and tricks for detailing your car. Now I just need a vehicle that's worthy of going as far as you do with it!
Thanks for the positive feedback!

Great to hear! What is your favourite tip that you learned so far?
@@PanTheOrganizer Using a waterless wash as a pre-cleaner is my new favorite 🤩
Question on 3 buckets, in particular the wheel bucket. You spray on a cleaner, you scrub/rub/clean. You use your hose to rinse brushes/microfiber wands. Then you rinse off.
What good is a wheel bucket???
Pan,
Just a heads up, I took notes on
one of your step-by-step, original ceramic coating vids back when you had a black BMW I think it was. I enjoy the process too.
I have the same ‘21 Turbo S, and have used your tips and tricks for over four years now and my car never looks dirty.
I just wanted to add that because I wash my cars often 95% of the time I use a rinsless wash- specifically:
CarPro Ech20
You can dilute it quite a bit and use it as a detail spray, lube for clay bar, or even pre rinse wash. But I use it as a rinse. Luis wash. its a very versatile product. I believe I found that product through you?
I realize this is mainly for water washing but for those who don’t let get their car is very dirty Echo2 is an easy one to use inside your garage.
Thanks again for the thorough vid!
Dan
😁👍🏻
I'm not a detailer, but I enjoy watching you. Thanks

My audi produces alot of brake dust. Sometimes I put it up on jack stands and take the wheels off. This allows me to completely clean the wheels and calipers from all angles. Love the turbo BTW, beautiful car. 😍
Thanks! What Audi do you drive?

As a weekend warrior these products work great for me especially McKee's rinseless wash in pre-wash .
A rinseless encapsulates dirt better than a snow foam.

Yes the garden pump sprayers should be good enough for spraying a rinseless wash solution, no worries there. Rinseless washes aren't harsh chemicals.

- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html
