Thanks for the update on the quick connects since I noticed in your video you showed 6 of them on the tailgate but I guess you already had 2 installed on the kink free hose. I see now there are 8 in the pack. Great video! I wanted an easy way to clean our new boat and I HATE using our gas power pressure washer and hose that will just loop up and kink if I stare at it long enough. Man great content. Liked and subbed!
Also, some friendly advice for someone wanting to use their pressure to make money: Put in whatever tip you wanna use and give it a pull. Then spray at the ground for a second or two. This just ensures the tip is locked in. The last thing you wanna do is be expecting to get paid to detail a car and then having to replace a window or get a dent pulled and painted.
I do it all the time just me. I did it to my old car and learned quick before detailing other people. Btw wearing flip flops don’t aim it at your foot you won’t have a fun time
I purchased everything in this video and for a home set up to wash 2-3 cars a week it is amazing. Thanks for putting this video up. Highly recommend this set up. Car detailing is now so much more enjoyable.
Great video. Every single thing I despise about pressure washing is resolved by the upgrades you mentioned. Quick connects, flexible hose, swiveling gun, I need all these upgrades!
YES!! My Ryobi is still holding strong for over 6yrs. The first 3yrs, I ran in it with hard water and didn't maintain it at all. For the price, its worth it.
At 2:47 it appears you wrap the teflon tape counterclockwise. It should be wrapped clockwise so it will not bunch up when you screw in the fitting. Moreover if there is a rubber grommet/washer, you do not typically need teflon tape. In any case, thanks for the video and the useful tips.
Yes, thank you, I am aware of this and noticed the mistake after recording. Good eye! Lol I like using Teflon to help prevent brass corrosion which inevitably will cause leaks.
I picked up the pressure washer at home depot for $109.00, amazon wanted $145.00. I did get all the other items and detailing is much more fun. You helped me connect the fittings and hoses, good stuff
Pretty much same setup but I'm using the RidgeWasher foam cannon. Its the sleeper of the foam cannons. I was fed up with all these crap foam cannons and was about to cough up the dough for an MJCC but on a whim decided to try one more cheap cannon. This Ridgewasher is putting out that thick foam from the Ryobi pressure washer all for only $20 and comes with a nice quality wash mit as well. I also couple that factory hose that comes with the Ryobi to the Uberflex hose which give me a total of 75ft of hose. This allows me to leave the Ryobi in the garage with the door shut without having to sacrifice any length of the 50ft Uberflex. This virtually makes that high pitch sound of an electric pressure washer completely silent. Totally makes the car wash process much more therapeutic.
I bought pressure washer about two months ago...didn't see the need to buy anything larger. I paired it with a McKillans foam cannon, quick connect kit, and a swivel handle. The Ryobi works just fine...plenty of foam, and so far not a single issue. I picked it up on sale at Home Depot for about $89 or so. But you will need an adapter (M14-22 male to M15-22 female) to hook up your hose and foam cannon...seems Ryobi uses an oddball size on the unit. Very pleased with my setup so far.
Hey man. Just to clarify. Are you saying that they changed the fittings on the Ryobi? Like your Ryobi is now different than the one I used in the video to demo the quick connects?
Glad I ran across this. I bought my own house recently and picked up that same Ryobi pressure washer and hated the hose / wand it comes with especially using my foam cannon. Gonna pick up all these attachments and you made my search super easy.
@@AutoHeadz It's been way nice! Only thing I gotta figure out is a reel for the pressure washer hose since winding it up by hand sucks. Other than that it takes me 5 minutes to get going! I'll probably upgrade to an active pressure washer for more water output for my big truck. It likes to dry before I fully get finished hand washing if it's a sunny day. But having everything on quick connects makes life so much better.
Such a nice and easy video for people starting with pressure washers and stuff. I’ll be getting this setup since I already checked online everything you suggested. Thanks a lot for this!

I took your advice and bought the Ryobi pressure washer and all the goodies you suggested. I used it today for the first time on my brand new Lexus IS350. 😊 it worked well! I got the version three of the foam cannon and found out that I don’t need to fill the bottle for such a small car. Other than that, it went well. Enjoy your videos!
Amazing! Thanks for the great comment. I love hearing stuff like this. I’m glad you are enjoying your new setup. I have a 2007 IS350! They are amazing vehicles. Enjoy!
@@Hamuraii really good I would not recommend leaving your job right away because the first couple of months can be tough. The best advice I can give is when you get the clients you enjoy working for try to get them to be a maintenance customer. The customers who pay well but give you a hard time or just not easy to deal with in my opinion are better as a one time service. Also make sure you take videos and pictures of every vehicle before you start and after you finish. I have had three people so far try to claim that I either cause damage or did not fix/clean what they asked for. All three of these people were proven wrong with my video I took before I started.
I'd recommending 3d nanopail super soap would be the best for new detailers. you can order them with a 3/4oz pump and only 1 pump is needed for a full 32oz foam cannon makes it so easy! Also that ryobi PW is always $50 for black friday
You’re the man! I was looking for a better way with my existing Ryobi power washer as opposed to investing in a newer option. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

The reason you're running out of soap is because you're using too little water. Your foam looks like shaving cream. It's supposed to be thick, not solid. It needs water.
@yeahh_idk_ Ideally, you don't want it like shaving cream. You want it a little thick, but not so thick it just sits there or takes forever for the sheets to fall off. You want it to run a little so it pulls debris/etc. down.
Awesome man. You are going to kill it! You are a hustler! Work hard, be professional and you can make just as much as anyone else. Keep me posted on your success!!!

@@AutoHeadzAfter using this setup a couple times on my truck, it makes washing it a breeze and enjoyable, such a great setup at an affordable price too.

@@AutoHeadz ur welcome. Videos like this are very helpful and save people a lot of time when you share your experience on what works and what doesn’t.👍👍
I did this exact setup and the ryobi kept surging. I had to use the long wand it came with to stop the surge. The short gun was the problem. Not sure why.
Make sure you run water through the system for a full 30 seconds before turning on the pressure washer. That will ensure the system has no air in it. Sounds like you have air in the system.
I bought those same quick disconnects a couple of years back for my Ryobi pressure washer. They were leaky junk, returned them to Amazon after a single use.
Fo you have links to the products. I need all of them. I just picked up a Sun Joe washer from Sams Club last week. I hate how stiff the hose is. Is this a better washer?
All of the links are in the video description and I also posted them in the FIRST comment. I think this is the best P. Washer for the price hands down.
The boys & I will be driving from Miami to Gatlinburg for a car show in a few weeks. This video was great informative. Pretty much bought everything on the list for quick details at the Airbnb. 😂😂
@ the hose sucks, kinks and I’m not a fan. We use this whole setup like 2x a week. The fittings have gotten a little hard to engage/disengage. Otherwise the whole thing has been great, to do over I’d just get an alternate blue hose.
@jmanjr Hey glad to hear! That’s amazing. Which hose are you having trouble with? Since you are doing it at a pro level I would upgrade to SS QC’s check these out ruclips.net/video/x1CvSbXm6Ag/видео.htmlsi=GsCxLnXSxbDE9qlu I hope your business crushes it man. Well done. 👍🏻

Thanks a lot man I got a bunch of really great detailing videos with some of the best new products coming out soon! Thank you for the great comment and kind words.
Have the same Ryobi pressure washer. It's pretty dang good. After watching a ton of reviews and comparisons on pressure washers, convinced they're pretty much all the same until you hit the $300 mark. Those quick connects for the hoses are LIFE SAVERS. Such a pain in the ass to undo the normal connections. Having them on the pressure washer hose, regular sprayer, and gun are so damned convenient. Worth the $15. Picked up the McKillans foam canon and pressure washer gun. Guns pretty good but wish it had a lighter trigger pressure for when doing longer periods of cleaning. Would have liked the MJJC but wanted to keep the budget a bit lower. Can't forget to switch out the foam cannon nozzle orifice with the 1.1, which i think the MJJC might come include by default? Absolute game changer for detailing cars. Great for general house / deck cleaning too.
Absolutely! It’s amazing what that little pressure washer can do. Yes it does come with the smaller orifice. I’ll probably do another video breaking down the foam cannon in more detail. Thanks for checking out the video man.
Wish I could show you my setup.. im using the exact same home depot pressure washer.. with a small short gun similar to yours.. but my ryobi pressure washer is now a wall setup. That mean i don't have to carry it and deal with 20 cords on the ground,, no more cord management.. because I added a wall reel and bought a 50’ flex hose to feed the reel.. now when i detail a car i just pull the hose.. do my stuff.. washing, foaming, rinsing and retract it back.. the only cord on the ground is the hose … nothing else.i also have a second reel for the garden hose next to it just in case i need the garden hose. And i added a reel for the air…. So my wall has 3 reels.. garden hose, pressure washer hose, air pressure. Oh i almost forgot , the electric reel.. that i use when doing DA compound around the car. So four reel on the wall.. and all my stuff are cheap stuff… nothing commercial grade except maybe my ghibli as5 vacuum.. haven't figured how to put the vacuum hose on a reel yet.. as for the ryobi pressure washer.. it does the job just fine for detailing cars
Thank you so much for this video. It helps me a lot who is new for car washing at home. can you recommend right orifice size for this ryobi washer? for 40 degree. I am thinking 40 degree 4.0 orifice for safe use.
I just purchased the griots foam cannon and really like everything available in your video. Will the griot foam cannon connect nicely like the one in the video? Thanks!
I have the same kit and it's awesome that you did literally EVERYTHING the same. Flexzilla hose with quick releases - foam canon etc. What's your solution for the power cord? That's the one thing I dislike about it - the onboard storage strap is awful
Nice setup. I am using a Sun Joe 2250psi but with the same hose, love the flexibility and extra length. The gun looks really good and think I will have to order one.
@@AutoHeadz My gun doesnt have a swivel, but the quick connect fitting lets it turn some. Not smooth like that gun. Do you know of a fitting I could buy separately?
+1 on the quick connects. The stock Ryobi screws are an absolute pain in the ass. It will rust and it will be a pain. Mine became impossible to remove and the hose was just permanently part of the washer.
I think he means the m22 threads coming off machine that hooks to factory hose. I bought an Uber flex & snapped my pump trying to get mine off lol. I’m looking at this small ryobi 1800 or the active 2.0 for my replacement

We want it like shaving cream 🤡
Yup!
@yeahh_idk_ Ideally, you don't want it like shaving cream. You want it a little thick, but not so thick it just sits there or takes forever for the sheets to fall off. You want it to run a little so it pulls debris/etc. down.
Im 14 and about to buy this setup for my carwashing business thank you!!!
Awesome man. You are going to kill it! You are a hustler! Work hard, be professional and you can make just as much as anyone else. Keep me posted on your success!!!
@@AutoHeadz Thank you sir, I was wondering what a good budget extension cord would be for this setup (for the powerwasher)
@@wombatsrest6107Hello, what is the extension cord for?
@@wombatsrest6107how’s your business going
Awesome video man, just starting to get into this pressure washer/foam cannon stuff and you just gave me my setup man, amazing step by step informative video❤️
My pleasure brother. This is an absolutely sweet setup. Did you get the stuff yet? Let me know how it works out?
@@AutoHeadzAfter using this setup a couple times on my truck, it makes washing it a breeze and enjoyable, such a great setup at an affordable price too.
@@driddick80Such a great little kit. It’s therapy for me at this point lol.
Quick connects are hands down the best upgrade. Literally every upgrade is optional, but having quick connects changes power washing from an annoyance to a hobby
Lol! Well said! I have become obsessed. It’s therapy at this point honestly.
Thanks for all the tips and the products!!!!
You are so welcome!
🙏🏽 I was just about to get rid of this one but you just saved it I got to go pick all that up
Oh man it’s a game changer. Let me know how you like the upgrades.
Tks! Just bought a used ryobi pressure washer $60 and will buy the rest of the stuff from your video post. Thanks so much for making this video.
Thank you so much for saying this! Love hearing this. Enjoy the setup 🙏🏻
@@AutoHeadz ur welcome. Videos like this are very helpful and save people a lot of time when you share your experience on what works and what doesn’t.👍👍
This is the exact setup I needed! I bought everything you suggested!
That’s awesome. Enjoy it! Did you put it together and use it yet?
Just got the whole set up is awesome
Excellent! You are gunna love it. Enjoy
That’s weird. Had mine for 3 years no issues
Thank you! I overlooked it.
@darrianbenjamin7292 my pleasure man. Reach out anytime if you need help or have any question at all. That’s why I do this. Enjoy.
I bought that mckilians gun love it
Yeah man. It’s a beast. Big fan.
Thanks so much great video and appreciate all the tips and links! I’ll be ordering soon.
Oh man, my absolute pleasure. I’m so glad people found this video so helpful. Take care. Happy detailing!!
The JOSHV kit right here, lol
right
Good thing the
Sweet setup. Hace you tried the Fierce Jet hose instead of the uberflex?
No I haven’t, should I?
@@AutoHeadz Saw them at a few commercial car washes and then bought both the 1 wire and 2 wire versions. My guys are impressed
Nice! I’ll have to try it out
The boys & I will be driving from Miami to Gatlinburg for a car show in a few weeks. This video was great informative. Pretty much bought everything on the list for quick details at the Airbnb. 😂😂
The part about “not pissing off your wife” with different connections is the most valuable piece of information here 😂
I shared it because I lived it. You’re welcome. lol!
Great content. I’m gonna copy this exact setup. Thanks!
That’s awesome enjoy it! Once you get it all set up let me know how you like it.
Hey! Thank you so much for the video!! I’ve been thinking about getting a Uberflex for my Karcher and you’ve just sold me on it!
Glad I could help!
Fantastic tutorial!
Thank you!
Would this setup be ok for matt paint? Thanks for a great video!
Thank you. Yes. The soap is PH neutral. Just be gentle with washing. Nice plush mitt if making contact with paint.
Perfect Video! Just what I needed. Thanks!
Wow! Thank you!!
Will these upgrades work with the Harbor Freight Portland pressure washer?
Does it swivel under pressure?
Yes it does.
Love the video, good work!
Thank you!
Buying this exact setup based on your recommendation (using your links of course). Will report back. Thanks for putting this together.
Awesome, thank you!
report back?
@ the hose sucks, kinks and I’m not a fan. We use this whole setup like 2x a week. The fittings have gotten a little hard to engage/disengage. Otherwise the whole thing has been great, to do over I’d just get an alternate blue hose.
@jmanjr Hey glad to hear! That’s amazing. Which hose are you having trouble with? Since you are doing it at a pro level I would upgrade to SS QC’s check these out ruclips.net/video/x1CvSbXm6Ag/видео.htmlsi=GsCxLnXSxbDE9qlu
I hope your business crushes it man. Well done. 👍🏻
@ haha believe it or not I am not. We just have 7 cars in our family and my son and I was a car at least a couple of times a week. :). I’ll take a look at that better hose
Enjoy your videos, some great tips and products you are recommending!
Thank you for this video! I was looking for this same setup and same equipment. This helped a ton!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching it
you forgot a step bro
@5:35 make sure you cover the car wash liquid bottle thoroughly with foam
just kidding
awesome content
Wow! Sounds incredible!
Thanks!
Yes it will! The Griots will work perfectly with this setup.
@@AutoHeadz great, thank you!
I like the tools and the video thank you😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
You're welcome 😊
I have the same kit and it's awesome that you did literally EVERYTHING the same. Flexzilla hose with quick releases - foam canon etc. What's your solution for the power cord? That's the one thing I dislike about it - the onboard storage strap is awful
Nice setup. I am using a Sun Joe 2250psi but with the same hose, love the flexibility and extra length. The gun looks really good and think I will have to order one.
Thank you! The gun is fantastic, especially for the price.
Thanks for the heads up. What screws are you talking about?
I think he means the m22 threads coming off machine that hooks to factory hose. I bought an Uber flex & snapped my pump trying to get mine off lol. I’m looking at this small ryobi 1800 or the active 2.0 for my replacement
Fantastic video. Thank you for putting it together. ROCK ON!!!!
Wow! Thank you very much for saying that! 🙌🏻🔥
This is literally my set up
Isn’t it amazing?!
