I understand the troubles that people are going through. I own the pro 3.0 and as far as changing the direction of the spray pattern and how its very loose making it a two hand operation... basically the fix for that is adding a bigger o-ring to add more resistance when turning the sleeve so the front should be less loose to change the degree pattern while the back should hold its position better when rotating the front sleeve.

Also HDPE foam cannon bottles are less than $1 wholesale, so prob a small fraction of that as a manufacturer. There was likely way higher costs here in the additional process of painting the bottle both operational and material, as well as mold costs for a distinct bottle, which that is near the 10k range, so logically idk why they did what they did.
Marketing and design making final decisions I bet. You know engineers have a wish list and cost associated they are told you have to sacrifice some stuff to meet targeted retail pricing. Then marketing is like and you have to use this bottle no questions asked.

Wonder if a chemical reaction with the paint even further weakened the plastic. I think we may have reached the pinnacle of what can be done to make a foam cannon perform, so now the companies are grasping at things to make their product “stand out” from the rest. So, aesthetics instead on innovation.
For sure not much left to do. Somebody should bring one to market with clickable adjustment knobs for the nozzle spray and angle. Wonder if also the paint made it harder which cause it to crack easier.
Thank you for your thorough testing of the product. I had been considering buying one of those foam cannons, but perhaps I'll stick with my old one for now. It seems MJJC products aren't what they used to be. I'll keep an eye on their future developments.
Well, i already have one ordered and on the way. Guess ill just have to be gentle with it. Sad that its a 110 dollar foam canon and both instances broke at a 5 foot drop. I almost wonder if MJJC is going to correct this. I hope this video really gains traction and MJJC has to answer for this. MJJC also has a review rating system on their website - *hint* *hint*
I think something has to be done. Better bottle and replace is a good idea. I almost wish I Bought a few extra bottle so I could come up with cheap ways to protect it like a pool noodle or foam insulation tape.
Can’t go wrong with the Griots. You can get the same foam as the MJJC. Just use 20% less water in you mix with the same amount of soap. That should make close to the same dilution at the manifold. That’s how they get the foam it pulls the soap faster.
Love your videos Keav! No angles or products to pitch, just honest, informative reviews! I'll stick to my older MJJC foam cannon. It's ridiculous the bottles they put into the last two versions of this product. Stay safe!
Keav's honesty is awesome! I stopped chasing foam a while ago, but I get the curiosity. Love how we are seeing durability over usability here. Can you get the foam you REALLY need at a lower cost? Killer vid Keav 🍻
You can get the foam you need at any cost if you can measure the dilution rate the foam cannon is working at and adjust the water in your mix to compensate.
I have a theory...their ploy is for this video to come out, boost sales of the V2, and then when stock of that runs out, they re-release the V3 with a better bottle. Outside chance they send everyone who has already bought the V3 at that point the upgraded bottle.
My hope is they replace the bottles that’s for sure. It’s a solid theory they may have a bunch of overstock of the v2 could be why it took them so long to release this. 🤣 Could be why somehow mine got to me so fast when others that purchased them at the same time still haven’t gotten out of Hong Kong yet.
@CarsWithKeav Further prediction, they blame an error in the manufacturing process, and their preproduction samples did not have the problem. (I may be a slightly jaded consumer 🤣)
I couldn’t help myself. Because I knew it would break easily just after I held it for the first time. I’m laughing at all the lost affiliate conversions they just cost me. Not making my money back on this video. 🤣
Good point you made Keav, about not needing to change the 1.25 orifice on an MJJC with a lower end pressure washer. I have one Pro V2 and two MTM PF22.2, to get good foam from the MTMs, i've had to swap to a 1.1mm orifice. Im hoping MTM finally get their act together and bring out a new verison. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Appreciate that! Just remember you can make that MtM foam the exact same by using 20% less water in your dilution. Just use the same amount of soap. That would get you at the same dilution MJJC is getting.
I bought 4 Sooprinse cannons and modified them thanks to another YT video I found. Not MJJC quality but I can abuse them and not care if chemicals destroy them.
Can’t go wrong with that. If I wasn’t just in my garage doing my cars and ran a business I would have a big amount of bear force foam cannons and buy cheap HDPE bottles to go with them.
Wow that bottle was the worst. Period. Taking one for the team on the Active vs Family lol. Thanks for all the fantastic comparison videos Keav! Happy New year!
Kind of disappointed in the bottle's material. That's why I'll never get rid of my mjjc 2. BTW, extra bottles for v2 are on Aliexpress for like $7. Grabbed me an extra, because always running out doing my 4runner. Love your vids, Keav. Make it a point to catch them when new ones come out. Belated Merry Christmas!
Appreciate that and a very late Merry Xmas to you. Willing to bet they will stop producing those bottle. Of course they will continue to be copied and also the Griots bottle fits it as well.
Oh NO! Not another foam cannon. Looks like they blended the V3 with the Pro V2 to come up with the Pro V3! Thanks for the review Mr. Keav! You are like the Albert Einstein of foam cannon testing. Not sure it's worth a hundred and nine dollars though. It better perform like one of the best foam cannons on the market for that price. I do love the fact they put the inside threads. I wish a lot more cannons on the market would do that. I use that function a LOT on my Griot's BOSS Foam Cannon. For me personally, I would probably put my money on the new Active Foam cannon which is cheaper and looks like it's built like a tank. Not sure what made MJJC think this thing is worth charging that much money. Thinking they thought it was a lot better than what it actually is. Great concept, not so great on the durability of the device. Typical Chinese JUNK! I still think, from the looks of it, the new Active Foam Cannon looks great, although I haven't personally used one yet. I do love that Active is really TRYING to make well built products and that they offer a complete system, even if it is sold separately. Still a great concept and "one stop shopping" more or less. I am saving my pennies for a new wall mount system. I was going to get a Comet because I loved the look of it, but I think I have changed my mind and I am going to get the Active 2.3 along with all the accessories for it from Active. It just looks like a great quality, well built system. And now that Active announced they are going to offer some rebuild parts, it swayed me towards the Active stuff. Thank you again Mr. Keav for all your dedication and work in the detailing community. Your reviews are well thought out, well edited, and very well presented.
Active makes great products for sure and you won’t be disappointed. This new Pro V3 was only a solid bottle away from being my favorite. They just need to tighten up that one adjustment piece that is loose and the bottle. If you use the Griots as a comparison $109 isn’t far off. Griots being $99 and Pro V3 is basically the same except I think the quick connect neck is superior to the auto mix. I can make any foam cannon auto mix, but I can’t make them quick connect. I think $99 would be a price I think they pick up enough volume to warrant the adjustment. Griots was $110 at one point when it first came out.
@@CarsWithKeav Will the MJJC V3 (Blue with clear bottle) bottle fit on it? Just wondering as it looks like the same type of twist on bottle. That would have been better if they just used the clear bottle from the V3 on that new one.
Wow Keav, this looks badass. I like how you give us recommendations on Active pressure washers. If they had a Griot’s type reservoir, I’d probably buy one.
Thanks for producing and sharing this video. The bottle stress test revealed a key weakness. I especially enjoyed your editorial about the bottle. Keav, keep up the fine video reviews👍
I have had my MJJC Pro V2 now for some time. in fact I have a couple (bought both from JoshV) and some spare bottles with lids so i can premix products and just swap bottles when I need it. Seeing the Pro V3 im absolutely floored. Its using lesser quality components. flimsy easy break bottle. and the cost is huge increase over previous models. its a sham. I will just be sticking with my V2. Ive even got a couple of the Adams pro series foam cannons and they are better then that Hot trash V3 Mjjc. Thanks for the great video Keav
I was going to get one from China as it was about $45, but the bottle is definitely a big NO. BTW, from what I read from the chinese detailing community, the brass plug is only for early production batches. They are in the process of testing the stainless steel version at the moment. Once they complete the test, the SS plug will be included.
So the people who want your product the most and most review videos will be filmed with you deliver the brass one? That’s genuis! Of course they approved that bottle so makes sense. 🤣
Looking forward to this one!! Can’t wait to see how it review… 😳 Well that was a shock! Someone over in their R&D department needs some explaining to do!! Very nicely presented, informative and impartial video. I’m surprised with what is a relatively basic piece of equipment, MJJC appears to maintain an advantage over the competition. One small point: Mixing US gallons with metric appears to overcomplicates calculations.
Not crazy about the painted bottle, I never even end up using half the capacity of a bottle on a car so I'd rather have something where I can see how much liquid I have easily. Also big oof on back to back shatters on 1st drop.
Another great video. But, ANOTHER new MJJC?? Just make a hoot one and stick with it. They appear to be the masters at taking a step back on all there foam cannons. People like myself want a quality product that gets the job done, at a decent price that gets the job done.
Its cause brass is more durable think about it all the hot water tanks or washers or plumbing all uae brass cauae at the end of the day its the only metal that dont rust like steel does eventually brass is a good thing
Many washers use stainless steel though. It is more corrosion resistant when it comes to chemicals. All depends on the water and what chemicals are being used. For example DI water or distilled water leaches brass more than stainless. Brass is a proven material though and is a great option also much cheaper.
Griots website has the metering tips for $6. I don’t use metering tips, but I know many who use the Griots for that. You can put the metering tips in the siphon tube and it will work that way.
@@CarsWithKeav One thing concerning me is that using a high-flow machine like the Active 2.3 could potentially add more stress to the motor. I chatted with MJJC officials in China, and they suggested turning the knob of the foam cannon to the minimum setting. They also mentioned that they plan to eventually replace the brass connection with stainless steel. So, it might be a good idea to hold off on buying this cannon for now.
Mosmatic is working on one for theirs made out of stainless. That’s a good idea, but probably costs more for the helmet than to make a proper bottle. 🤣
Yeah, the brittle bottle is a deal breaker for me. I was just about to purchase it until I saw the drop test. I wonder if they can paint an HDPE bottle?
Excellent video. I love the drop tests you do. I have dropped foam cannons before thankfully I didn’t drop the clear bottle yet. I have two of those and I’m not going to get this one. But I have got a quick question. What orifice would you use With the 3000 psi green works. Crappy that the machine has to run all the time, but it gets great flow. Using this until I move to my new place. Again great video. That bottle is brittle and weak for a pro. Also I agree it should totally be stainless steel.
You should be good with a 1.35 nozzle which are hard to get sometimes. Usually you have to go up to a 1.40. Willing to bet a 1.25 should work fine as well.
My £15 Bear Force V3 is looking better now, all stainless steel, even the manifold, orifice, quick connect and ball/tip filter is all stainless steel, the bottle is clear plastic but at £15 it'll hurt less if it cracked.
@CarsWithKeav I hope one day they'll come with something... most of these companies just care about being at the top bringing products out every second and not caring about durability anymore, but luckily, we have you brother you the man 👍🏾

@@CarsWithKeavTruly, I’ll keep my Pro V2 😂 amazing foam does not outweighs spending on brittle plastic 😅
I’m here for the drop test
Me too!
109 for a bottle that cracks if you look at it the wrong way… please MJJC change the bottle and add the marks to 1300 and you’ll sell a TON
I also think they should offer two durable bottles. One at 1000ml and the other 1300ml. I would prefer a smaller version that stores easily.
Great video !!! Loved, loved, LOVED your reaction to the drop test !!!
I couldn’t help myself.
I have my mjjc pro v2 and won’t be changing it. Thanks for the drop test. V3 is supposed to be better than v2 but looks like that’s not the case
They for sure missed on the bottle! Newer version should always be better.
Thank you for your thorough testing of the product. I had been considering buying one of those foam cannons, but perhaps I'll stick with my old one for now. It seems MJJC products aren't what they used to be. I'll keep an eye on their future developments.
Let’s hope they fix this with a new improved bottle. That’s the only way they can save it and needs to be quick.
I almost wish I
Bought a few extra bottle so I could come up with cheap ways to protect it like a pool noodle or foam insulation tape.
Man! I thought this looked really good, but for that price and it broke immediately! Thanks for the drop test
Happy New Years man!
Same to you
Somebody signed off on this is the real problem. What were they thinking?
Excellent video!! Glad I have the pro 2.0
Well now I have some parts to Frankenstein me new foamer. 🤣
Yes!! Excited for this one! Perfect start to the day
Enjoy!
I’m almost 3 years in on my Pro V2. Thing is a tank.
Agreed, any HDPE bottle should be that durable. That’s what they are meant to be. They make firework mortars with that plastic.
@ this is great info. Didn’t even know that. Thanks Keav!
Nice waiting for the Keav test
And that's why nothing better than v2
Agreed! They should have just delivered the pro v2 with stainless and dual threading and I would have been fine with that.
Great video!
Thank You
lmaoooooooo the bottle fought back 😂😂😂😂
It got tired of me. I should have been nicer it’s not the bottles fault. 🤣
Yo, been waiting for this, got my coffee and this.
Hope you didn’t spit out the coffee watching how bad that bottle is. 🤣
I'm glad I ended up buying the Griot's Garage foam cannon. I've been second guessing the purchase with how much mjjc was highly praised.
Can’t go wrong with the Griots. You can get the same foam as the MJJC. Just use 20% less water in you mix with the same amount of soap. That should make close to the same dilution at the manifold. That’s how they get the foam it pulls the soap faster.
@CarsWithKeav I'm still tweaking my settings. I was using waaaay too much soap at first. Thanks for your testing and videos.
Love your videos Keav! No angles or products to pitch, just honest, informative reviews! I'll stick to my older MJJC foam cannon. It's ridiculous the bottles they put into the last two versions of this product. Stay safe!
Appreciate that. At least the last one wasn’t marketed as Pro and actually performed better than the new one. Just crazy.
@CarsWithKeav amen Keav! 👍
Been holding off on getting the V2 and wait for the V3; thanks for the review. Gonna go and order the V2
Can’t go wrong there.
😂 what a drop cracked test. Lol
Do you have drop test for mjjc s v3.0?
I drop most all of them is this video. ruclips.net/video/IttguMXFAtw/видео.htmlsi=usEKRl5OwqmN0UEA
Hahaha how fitting of them to go above and beyond with the high end protective packaging to protect the bottle made out of sugar glass
You are not wrong. Wish I bought a few extra bottle just to see if I could break it over my head like a movie prop. 🤣
Thanks for the information on being very careful with the Bottle as just received my Pro 3 and will be extra careful with it
Wrap it in window insulation foam tape and you’ll be good to go. 🤣
Great video as always, thank you. Not sure what they should call you now, Cookie Monster or Darth Foamer…
Darth Foamer 😂
Darth Cookie Foamer
Just received my new Pro V2 today. So glad I did not wait for the V3. I cringe when you drop them but it is funny. Thanks.
I still cringe, but somebody has got to do it since they don’t seem to care.
MJJC We putting u in Timeout You're Grounded 🤣
Timeout in the trash can.
Damn, I was laughing just as hard as you.🤣🤣🤣🤣. ☄️💥
Great video thanks for sharing 😊
You’re Welcome
I bought 4 Sooprinse cannons and modified them thanks to another YT video I found. Not MJJC quality but I can abuse them and not care if chemicals destroy them.
Can’t go wrong with that. If I wasn’t just in my garage doing my cars and ran a business I would have a big amount of bear force foam cannons and buy cheap HDPE bottles to go with them.
Wow that bottle was the worst. Period. Taking one for the team on the Active vs Family lol. Thanks for all the fantastic comparison videos Keav! Happy New year!
Thank you and Happy New Year to you as well!
Nice review
Thank You
OH NO!! now i need to order extra bottles.
Maybe they will offer a subscription service bring you one a month for a discount.
@@CarsWithKeav😂
Thanks for saving me $125 bucks. Where can I get a pro v2 for half bowadays?
Amazon sells them for $89. I know there are a few sites if you search google that might have them for as low as $70 or so.
They for sure need that kind of bottle.
I have the pro V2 and never looked back, if I were Josh I don’t think I would want to sell this version on my site, thanks for the review sir 👍😁
It’s a bad situation right now for sure.
Hard no! Now I'm a subscriber.
Appreciate that!
Thanks for producing and sharing this video. The bottle stress test revealed a key weakness. I especially enjoyed your editorial about the bottle. Keav, keep up the fine video reviews👍
Appreciate the kind words!
That bottle just ruined it. Price is high which I was expecting. The product itself is great better in every way over the V2 except the dang bottle.
@@CarsWithKeav yea, that was odd to me. The information was from the detailing community though, not from MJJC
Looking forward to this one!! Can’t wait to see how it review…
😳 Well that was a shock! Someone over in their R&D department needs some explaining to do!! If I’m a company designing a foam cannon, Keav is my first call…🤦🏽♂️ So disappointing! Wonder how quickly they can have an updated bottle sent out for free to their customers?!!
Great review Keav!! The laugh after the first drop was priceless! Love it!!
They need to do something a new bottle is a great idea. Willing to bet some high paid executive decided this one looked better and everybody said “Yes Sir”.
Love your detailed reviews its like u give us the opp to see things we just wouldnt see without buying it and finding out ourselves so thank you 💯👍
Appreciate that. We got to put these to the test we can’t buy based on pictures or controlled videos by the manufacture.
@CarsWithKeav exactly you offer a priceless service for free at that hats off to you sir it has helped countless of us fresh to the game i only hope my business gets big enough one day so i can setup a nice AR 630 unit but i am super stoked i have an active 2.0 on the way your reviews on that bad boy helped me pull the trigger cause im sick of buying crappy tire simonize specials and have them fail time after time so thanx again for information we otherwize would have no other way to get without buyin and testing them ourselves 💯👍👌
@ Awesome! Hope everything works out for you!
Very nicely presented, informative and impartial video. I’m surprised with what is a relatively basic piece of equipment, MJJC appears to maintain an advantage over the competition. One small point: Mixing US gallons with metric appears to overcomplicates calculations.
It does, but unfortunately the measuring system on most of these products is only in metric and my meter only does imperial. 🤷♂️
@ I’ll forgive you 🤣
Do you have a video on where you hooked up your pressure washer from start to finish?
This should have as best I got. ruclips.net/video/HlF8x6tf0ww/видео.htmlsi=1_lBspDrLoIZnIhn
They gotta stop orders. Ain’t no way people should be spending over $100 on a foam cannon just for it to be able to break on the first drop like that.
Agreed, something is not right here.
Not crazy about the painted bottle, I never even end up using half the capacity of a bottle on a car so I'd rather have something where I can see how much liquid I have easily. Also big oof on back to back shatters on 1st drop.
Bigger bottle is a nice option and that’s the way it should have been done. Give a choice of bottle size and type of bottle.
lmao the drop test 🤣
Went well didn’t it? 🤣
@@CarsWithKeav lol man I laughed way louder than I should have in the office today over that one 😆
@ Should have seen me editing this. 🤣
@@CarsWithKeav ☠
Where did you get that hood stand?
Good old Amazon amzn.to/4i6dqqw It’s very high quality just wrap some areas with some foam tape and you’re good.
Another great video. But, ANOTHER new MJJC?? Just make a hoot one and stick with it. They appear to be the masters at taking a step back on all there foam cannons. People like myself want a quality product that gets the job done, at a decent price that gets the job done.
Crazy thing I’ve been hearing about this foam cannon for probably almost 18 months now. The S V3 came out of nowhere nobody knew that was coming.
I guess ill go and buy the pro v2 then
Can’t go wrong there!
@@CarsWithKeav very true i did not consider all that 👍
yep after that bottle drop... ill stick with the v2
Good idea. I’ll just swap out the manifold and Frankenstein me a new foamer with the V2 bottle. 🤣
so they include that normal size bottle but did not include a metering tip? any recommond on metering tips?
Griots website has the metering tips for $6. I don’t use metering tips, but I know many who use the Griots for that. You can put the metering tips in the siphon tube and it will work that way.
@@CarsWithKeav One thing concerning me is that using a high-flow machine like the Active 2.3 could potentially add more stress to the motor. I chatted with MJJC officials in China, and they suggested turning the knob of the foam cannon to the minimum setting. They also mentioned that they plan to eventually replace the brass connection with stainless steel. So, it might be a good idea to hold off on buying this cannon for now.
Yep, now I'm not buying one 😂
Thanks Keav!
Griots foam canon FTW!
Griots is the strongest bottle on the market.
HDPE is the move 🤷♂
Agreed!
Maybe they’ll come out with a bottle helmet 😂
Mosmatic is working on one for theirs made out of stainless. That’s a good idea, but probably costs more for the helmet than to make a proper bottle. 🤣
Yeah, the brittle bottle is a deal breaker for me. I was just about to purchase it until I saw the drop test. I wonder if they can paint an HDPE bottle?
I’d not see why they can’t and you can make HDPE in many colors.
Does the new head work on the s body if so does it leak?
The new head does not fit the S bottle. It’s a much wider neck.
You can reach the free shipping by adding a few extra bottles, which you’ll need. 😂
I’m seeing this as a win for MJJC they can do a subscription service for bottles. Deliver on a month. 🤣
@@CarsWithKeav 😮 Don’t give them ideas! 😂
Great vid Keav! Such a shame tho.
Agreed, all that time and they delivered that.
Is the Bear Force foam cannon still the best super-budget foam cannon
In my opinion yes. Brass or Stainless can’t go wrong with them.
My £15 Bear Force V3 is looking better now, all stainless steel, even the manifold, orifice, quick connect and ball/tip filter is all stainless steel, the bottle is clear plastic but at £15 it'll hurt less if it cracked.
We need a Pro Bear Force cannon.
All these foam cannon companies get the pumps on their skin whenever Keav gets a hold on their foam cannon. lol, even getting the cringe 😬 lol
Not enough to deliver one that won’t break though. I think HDPE for most marketing departments just isn’t cool enough.
@CarsWithKeav I hope one day they'll come with something... most of these companies just care about being at the top bringing products out every second and not caring about durability anymore, but luckily, we have you brother you the man 👍🏾
So V2 as a backup it is. Easy pass! Thanks Keav!
Pretty much unless they come out with a bottle fix.
Bummer that it’s so brittle. Hopefully they update it.
They have to or it’s not going to sale. I’m hoping we get a revised bottle soon.
