I love this brush. I have arthritis and this helps me so much in keeping my bathroom clean. Also thanks for the tip on using it on my doors and I am also going to use it on my base boards. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. It is a great product.
This is what I’m looking for! Great review! My wife and I are both 50 and are in pretty good shape. But she’s got bad knees and I’ve got a bad lower back, leaving neither one of us in any condition to scrub the tubs. Great product!

I bought one of these for my daughter. She is in a wheelchair and it's difficult for her to clean the shower. Also, I use it because I'm lazy. I have several drill brushes, which I learned about on your channel, but this is better for quick cleaning.
I am proud that I binge today ☺️ proud. My sister has one, I think it might be fun to use. I use the drill attachments because I like the heavy duty up close and personal clean , but this is cool 😎 as well.
Your the Bomb Angela! I could of used this. I have these utensils at home. I just did a deep clean on a shower with glass door and got many years of hard water and soap scum off completely using elbow grease. I could just hit myself in the head for not using my tools. Thanks for the reminder.
You're welcome! Sometimes we all tend to forget the things that can make our lives a bit easier and then remember after we are all done. It happens. Thanks for watching!
Hi. I recommend the drill brush set for use on cabinets because of the difference in the brushes. They are flatter and vary in stiffness allowing you to choose the best one for your cabinets and they include some firm sponge-like attachments. You can see those here: amzn.to/43YV4Ac (paid link). If you decide to try the Homitt on your cabinets I would be cautious and gentle, so as not to damage the finish. Hope this helps. Thank you for being here. ☺
Angela, I just found your channel and, after watching one video, have subscribed. I love your presentation style and deep well of housecleaning knowledge. Your voice is similar to the second narrator of the beloved Kinsey Milhone character created by Sue Grafton for her alphabet mysteries. So now I think of you as a superhero private detective who solves murders AND cleans houses.
I clean houses and I just got mine in today so I’m excited to use it but what I didn’t think about was the products to use. Do you recommend the regular products that I would normally use?? I am just short so reaching tops of showers is the main reason I got it!!! Thank you 😊
Congrats on getting the Homitt! You can use your regular cleaning products with it. For reaching high areas, consider using a soap scum and grime remover. Microfiber cloths or pads are great for scrubbing and wiping. Remember to follow instructions and test new products first. Enjoy using your Homitt! Hope you like it...happy cleaning!
@@AskAngelaBrown thank you so much!!! Imma try all things on my own showers here at home first lol just to be safe cause heck i could use some remodeling 😉
We have this, works great. My knees don't like kneeling/squatting so I can stand and let it do the work. Kids use it too. Just have to find the missing three heads
The Hommitt is being delivered Sunday! I can’t wait! I want to clean our dingy tile floors. Do we spray cleaner on the floor, on the attachment, or just use water? Thank you!!!
Hey Judy, when you say tile floors, are they ceramic tile floors with grout or are they glued tiles like a vinyl flooring? And when you say dingy are they just dirty or are they discolored due to age?
Angela Brown Hi, Angela! I have 3 kinds of tile floors. They were here when we moved in. I wish I could send pictures! Person cleaning the house did a poor job. 1. Kitchen -I was told the floor is Travertine tile. No shiny finishing. Looks pitted, and dirty pitting area. It’s no longer white. If I scrub the grout with a wet magic eraser sponge, I can get some of the grout a bit cleaner. I think I’m supposed to use a Bona mop, but it’s a pretty large space. As a senior with arthritis, scrubbing is a no no. So I’m thrilled you suggested a Hommitt. I just don’t know what to use with it. 2. Master bath has tile in the walk in shower. Doesn’t have a shiny finish. Same tile on the floor. It might be small travertine tiles. The floor has decorative indentations that are very dirty. As well as dirty grout. So should I just use some water with the Hommitt on the shower and floor? I don’t think I’m supposed to use a lot of water. I can also scrub with Bona cleaner. 3. Second bathroom. Has shiny big tiles. The tiles clean up ok with a sponge mop. Dirty grout. So I WELCOME your suggestions on how to clean these floors. I got a bid of cleaning them for $1,000 a few years ago.
I was looking at this product a while back but no longer see it on Amazon. Has it been discontinued? I really need a good, reliable power scrubber, as I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis, OA and other painful disorders and no longer have the strength or joint function required to clean properly.
12/5/21 - I don't see this Homitt brand on Amazon either - however, I do see it (by brand name) on Walmart's website. I am eager to get one and I hope you also found it since you posted. Have a great day!

i have a doubt. Can Homitt scrubber be drenched in water ? is it water proof ? your video is informative and interesting and i found it to be useful. Thanks ...
The heads of the Homitt can be drenched in water and if water gets on the outside of the handle it probably won't hurt it. But it is mechanical and battery operated so I wouldn't immerse it in water if you can help it.
I ordered one. It’s too heavy. I wish I had seen this video first. I am a senior with bad shoulders and this tool is great for doing all these cleaning chores. Because mine is heavy, I tire out really quick. It does work great.
I just love mine, but I have the mushroom stuck on it and cannot change heads. Good grief! Do you have any tips on how to get these off? Thanks so much for this video: it was the reason I bought it!👍🏻🌸
I don't suggest this product. You can't really apply much "weight" or else the head stops spinning. Some would say this is because you're not supposed to add much weight and that the product does the job for you, but without weight, it can't really get the grime off. Also, it says waterproof, but my machine got a little wet (had the shower head running while using the machine) and it stopped working. When plugged in the light is green, but when I go to use it the light flashes red. Only got to use the product once and it's already dead... just another piece of plastic that's ended up in the landfill. That said, I still enjoy your videos. Great production quality and good points made.
Hello there I have a question, if I used tub and tile refinishing kit on my tub can I use this on my tub shower as I need a non harsh brush for no scratching?
I was looking at these. I have a Harrington rod in my back for scholiosis. I can’t bend and twist easily and the base board behind my toilet is horrible and don’t even think about that fridge demo! I’m getting one!
As far as I understand, it only has one speed. Is this not a disadvantage? I would’ve liked a bit more selection and brushes also. What’s your opinion?
While the Homitt electric spin scrubber operates at a single speed, offering more speed options and additional brushes can be advantageous for some users. However, the simplicity of a single speed makes it easy to use especially for seniors & kids, without them having the need to adjust the settings. If you prefer more speed options and brush variety, there are alternative electric spin scrubbers available in the market to explore. Consider reading reviews and researching other models to find one that aligns with your specific preferences and cleaning needs.
Angela- Can I use the hommitt for seniors on kitchen cabinets with the Murphy oil soap? Or would you recommend buying the colored brushes you mentioned in another video? Would those brushes fit on the homnmit? If I have to buy a drill what would you recommend? Also would this method of cleaning work on the "vinyl type" levelors by hunter Douglas? thanks
Great questions. The Homitt could work on the kitchen cabinets, though the brush heads are all white and much softer than the green ones we use with the drill brush. The electric drill will also be about 20 V, providing more power for the job, where the Homitt is more like 3.5 V. You can check out the recommended supplies for the cabinet job in our Amazon store amazon.com/shop/AngelaBrown it shows you exact brands, drills, drill brush heads etc.
I haven't had any problem with the power button - and I'm curious, what types of problems have you had? The units are under factory warranty. Did you get a chance to send either or both of your units back? How was the customer service?
@@AskAngelaBrown It wasn't with this brand but another brand that has a power button that is a piece of soft rubber. The first one, after just one time using it, the button sunk in and we couldn't get it out. After taking it apart, it looked as if the soft rubber button has to press a very small inner button to turn on and off. They sent me a new one and just about 3 months of use, it did the same thing. I'm looking for one that has a hard power button that doesn't sink in. Is the power button soft and rubber or a hard piece of plastic or something?
Will this go under a clawfoot tub? I have a clawfoot tub that is in a corner of my bathroom and can't get under it easily to clean the floor. I can't get on my hands and kness to clean under it either. Thank you!
I don't know for sure how tall the legs on the claw foot tub are. My guess is no. You may have to use a Swiffer Duster or a Swiffer Sweeper to get under that tub.
Wow, Angela, thank you so much for referring me to this video! This tool is pricey, but looks like it will really help. I really can’t scrub the shower tiles and grout. My husband can’t be scrubbing the tub in his bathroom anymore either. This can be a big help. There are several models. I don’t know which one to get-$49.99, $69.99, and $79.99. Any suggestions? Would the grout tool help clean the grout on travertine tile? I will wait for your reply.
The Homitt Electric Spin Scrubber is the one I recommend amzn.to/30itKiq and you're right, the pricing is all over the board. I'm guessing due to COVID, people staying home to do their own cleaning and the products being in demand. They normally retail for $49. All the ones I see today on Amazon are jacked up on the prices. Yes, you can use the brushes on the the grout.
Angela Brown THANKS! It looks like the difference might be in the type of battery. Looks like this is a rechargeable LG battery. Shipping is much faster now, too. Today is the 8th. Should get 12th. Not on Prime.
Hihi, Mine get rusty inside after a few wash and when open up, inside are all rusted. May I know what are your solution to prevent water gettting inside and rusted the motor etc and stop it from working?
Have you tried the Homitt Electric Spin Mop Floor Scrubber? I have a dog and two toddlers and hard wood floors that see a lot of food and dirt and I don't have a lot of time to clean and scrub stuff off the floor. I was wondering is this would work well? I'd love to have the spin mop and the Spin Scrubber and wish they could be combined into one product. But if they both work great and help me to clean quicker and faster I'll buy them both.
Good morning, I have a feeling that the bristles may be not heavy duty enough for commercial everyday use. What do you think? This seems to be great for baseboard cleaning although you would still need to get down to wipe whatever you used to clean them.
Hi Angela, another great video! I'm wondering though, are you endorsing the Homitt brand as a paid rep or solely on your own accord? I don't mind if you are a paid rep, I just want to know the reason for the endorsement.
Homitt did not know I was doing this video. They did not endorse or pay for it. Nor did they send me a free product. I am endorsing this product for seniors who have had shoulder replacements and don't have the mobility to bend over and scrub as they did in their 30's. (That is the reason for this endorsement.) NOTE: If a show it paid for, if a company sponsors an episode of the show or if they sent a free product, by rules of the Federal Trade Commission I MUST disclose that information. Sometimes you will see a notice at the start of the video that says "This video includes paid promotion." But I usually just come right out and say "this video is brought to you by XYZ company."
I’ve just received my Homitt cleaner and I can’t wait to use it tomorrow. I have psoriatic & osteo arthritis and Fybro so I really am looking happy it looks easy to use. It is charging as I’m commenting and wanted to ask you about 1)..using water with the cleaner. I’m guessing use a shallow bowl right? & 2).. I cannot get the hanging hook on it to hang? Is there a technique? My hubby is convinced it’s not for this machine.. 😳 I can tell it is and would like to hang it up. If you can give us any hints that would be helpful I’d appreciate it. 🌸👌 Stay safe.
For the tub, daily cleaner handles soap scum, bleach tackles mildew, and baking soda buffs away rust. On the stove, daily cleaner keeps things fresh, degreaser cuts through tough grime, and a scraper helps with burns. Remember to test any cleaner in a hidden spot first!
Help, please, I can't get the brush off! ***OOOPS, never mind. I ran it for a while, and maybe just getting it a little warm helped to pull it off easier. I do see there are lots of nooks and crannies inside of the attachment, so maybe you do have to line it up a little bit? I love this brush set!
Good review. I don't like the title you selected for this video (yes you explained why), but other than that it was well done. Thanks for posting/sharing your thoughts on this product.
After 5 uses it would still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer. If you bought it from an online retailer they probably have a really good return program.
They have big floor burnishers that they use for banks and restaurants that works off the same concept really more for commercial cleaning - but for the average home, not really. I've seen some crumby attempts of "floor spinners" but take my word for it when I say they are junk. 😱
Yes you could use it for that. If you are going to do that, I recommend using it dry. It is a spinning head and if it's wet, you will splatter water all over. Does that make sense?
I know one thing Bed Bath & Beyond that's not how these scrub brushes I had to go to Amazon in the order it I hate ordering online thank you have a good day
Thanks for commenting on this product. I see that the product at the top is bent, making cleaning difficult. If the head were straight, it would be much easier to work with. Ops! You forgot to explain how to clean the corners or edges where the product does not reach.
Great question. The bent head is adjustable and can be put in a straight position for straight up and down cleaning if need be (like cleaning the shower floor.) Do you have one?
@@AskAngelaBrown yeah good luck is right I tried looking it up on Amazon and I tried looking at the manufacturer no luck, thank God I actually found my charger so I don't need to replace it now. So with all due respect thanks for nothing
Yes, you can get replacement brushes on line (Paid Link amzn.to/3Wc5I5x) and I believe that the brushes are universal and fit other similar spin scrub brushes. (If not, this link has a new handle to go with it.)
Good in concept but after first charge of 5 hours it lasted 2 minutes then went to a flashing green light. It can barely spin the heads when no pressure is applied just its own weight .Will be returning it looking for a better brand.
Technically yes, but it is not the right tool and will make you mad after a few minutes of trying to clean windows with it. The head spins in an orbital or circular motion which will be great for most of the window and will miss all the edges and corners. And then you will end up wiping the window corners and edges down with a cloth - and that is where you could have started in the first place. I like the way you're thinking though. High five on the creativity. 👍👍👍
Not an electric brush. For dishes I have a Rubbermaid Soap Dispensing Brush amzn.to/2WJAClC that I'm guessing would have the same effect without the risk of an electric tool getting wet. Do you have one that you use that you recommend?
@@AskAngelaBrown I just ordered the Black & Decker grimebuster power scrubber.... cleaning a house with long-time dirty dishes everywhere and a super messy stove.... thinking the dishes soaked should come clean easier with the brush.... ...and I'll use my steamer and the scrub brush on the cooktop.
I just bought this scrubber. The hanger is round, and the scrubber handle where it’s supposed to attach is oval. I can’t get the hanger to attach. Am I missing something?
According to the Amazon description, the multi-purpose Homitt can be used for cleaning the toilet. If you're looking for replacement brushes for your Homitt device, it's recommended to reach out to the manufacturer directly or visit their official website. They will have the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding compatible replacement brushes for your specific model. Provide them with the details of your device and inquire about the availability of replacement brushes. It's also worth checking online marketplaces or specialty stores that offer replacement parts for cleaning devices. When cleaning the brushes, using hot soapy water and bleach at the end can be an effective way to maintain their cleanliness and hygiene. Remember to follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Homitt device.
@@AskAngelaBrown That is the question...how do you rise or wipe down all the soap suds after washing? Don't you still have to use a cloth and bend over to do that???
No. It is what it is. The product is great for seniors who need the extension wand and don't bend over well or have the shoulder strength to hold and manage a drill brush. amzn.to/2J9XG6r If you are a professional, I recommend the drill brush attachments that go on any power drill and will save you tons of elbow grease when cleaning bathrooms, showers, cabinets etc.
There are a lot of similar products on the market. The key is to read the specs and know what you're looking for and decide in advance how you plan to use it. If you are comparing it to other products that are similar Amazon is a good place to compare. Any product that has been around for a while has some ratings and reviews and you can learn from users how they liked it and ways they use it in their own homes.

It's really great for anywhere you are unable to bend over and reach, baseboards, corners of the room, the floor behind and around the toilet and yes, tubs and showers. It's a lifesaver for seniors.
And tile floors, cabinet & door grooves ~ which I haven't thought of! I am specifically looking for a very sturdy spinning scrubber for my Mexican tile floor in the kitchen. Our house used to be a rental, then sat empty, then was foreclosed on. It's needing some major LOVE. The corners under the cabinets are terrible. This is my last try before having to pay a company to scrub & re-seal them. Angela - I just found your channel & have "like" & subscribed. I'm always looking for new ideas/hacks to clean my house. I am 58 ~ not a senior, but have arthritis of the neck & degenerative disc disease. There's no way I can lean over & scrub for more than 10-15 minutes. I'd be 90 before I'd get my floors clean. Question: How sturdy is the rod? Does it feel flexible or pretty substantial? Thanks!

@@AskAngelaBrown Thanks for getting back to me. Excellent videos.
Ordering one tomorrow
Awesome!
Perfect for senior and disable, you can reach and scrub all dirty areas without touching them
Yes!!! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and for commenting!
I wish you would have said something about the power button. I have bought to different brands and both have had issues with the power button.
How do you clean the heads? Or order replacement heads?
In the dishwasher on a hot cycle with all the other brushes and sponges we use in the course of a day.
@@AskAngelaBrown awesome thank you
Hihi, Mine get rusty inside after a few wash and when open up, inside are all rusted. May I know what are your solution to prevent water gettting inside and rusted the motor etc and stop it from working?
Hi. I am so sorry for being so late to respond. I hope you got your issue resolved. Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate it! 😃
Definitely let me know what you decide to get for cleaning the floor and how it works out for you. 🤗
Can i spray bath solution on bath n tiles or do I just use water?
Good morning,
I have a feeling that the bristles may be not heavy duty enough for commercial everyday use. What do you think?
This seems to be great for baseboard cleaning although you would still need to get down to wipe whatever you used to clean them.
Thank you Angela. That is a very handy brush! Hopefully the bushes last long.

How do u clean the brushes 🤔
The brush heads pop off and can be put in a mesh bag (they look like this - paid link amzn.to/3JEgWsM) in the dishwasher on a sanitize cycle.
Thanks for the review. I just copied your Amazon link and going to buy this one. V/r, MLB
Thank you and happy cleaning!😀
Hi Angela, another great video! I'm wondering though, are you endorsing the Homitt brand as a paid rep or solely on your own accord? I don't mind if you are a paid rep, I just want to know the reason for the endorsement.
Homitt did not know I was doing this video. They did not endorse or pay for it. Nor did they send me a free product. I am endorsing this product for seniors who have had shoulder replacements and don't have the mobility to bend over and scrub as they did in their 30's. (That is the reason for this endorsement.)
NOTE: If a show it paid for, if a company sponsors an episode of the show or if they sent a free product, by rules of the Federal Trade Commission I MUST disclose that information.
Thanks
Thank you for watching!
What chemical you use to wash bathtub and what for the stove?
For the tub, daily cleaner handles soap scum, bleach tackles mildew, and baking soda buffs away rust. On the stove, daily cleaner keeps things fresh, degreaser cuts through tough grime, and a scraper helps with burns. Remember to test any cleaner in a hidden spot first!
Thank you for a great informative video.😀
Help, please, I can't get the brush off! ***OOOPS, never mind. I ran it for a while, and maybe just getting it a little warm helped to pull it off easier. I do see there are lots of nooks and crannies inside of the attachment, so maybe you do have to line it up a little bit?
I love this brush set!
Glad you figured it out!👍
Can this be used for the back wall, baseboard, and floor behind the toilet if it's really hard to get to?
Yes, it can be used in those areas. Just ensure it's compatible with your cleaning solution and take precautions to keep it sanitary after use👍
How long to charge, duration of charge (1 or several hours),or it battery operated?
The Homitt Spin Scrubber is charged by a plug. When the battery dies you recharge it by plugging it back in.
I'm sold!!
Awesome, thanks for watching. 🙂
Good review. I don't like the title you selected for this video (yes you explained why), but other than that it was well done. Thanks for posting/sharing your thoughts on this product.
Thanks for your feedback and thank you for watching the video. 🙂
@@AskAngelaBrown You're welcome. I just ordered it on Amazon! :)
Mine was great but broke after about 5 times of using it. It spins great until you turn it to use it and then it stops spinning.
After 5 uses it would still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer. If you bought it from an online retailer they probably have a really good return program.
Is there something like this for floors?
They have big floor burnishers that they use for banks and restaurants that works off the same concept really more for commercial cleaning - but for the average home, not really. I've seen some crumby attempts of "floor spinners" but take my word for it when I say they are junk. 😱
thanks for comparing power size with drill, helped make my decision
Sure, having the right tool all comes down to application. How are you going to use it?
Would this be good for cleaning baseboards?
Yes you could use it for that. If you are going to do that, I recommend using it dry. It is a spinning head and if it's wet, you will splatter water all over. Does that make sense?
Can I use to clean baseboard as well?Thank you!
Yes, but use it dry not wet. A wet brush will just spin water everywhere.
Where can I get one of these

I know one thing Bed Bath & Beyond that's not how these scrub brushes I had to go to Amazon in the order it I hate ordering online thank you have a good day
I read that they stop working in reviews on amazon. Did anybody here have the same problem?
They are cordless. Any re-chargable battery item will eventually die. So yes, you are correct.
@@AskAngelaBrown Roughly how long will it be before that happens, please?
Does the company sell replacement brush heads for when they get disgusting and you want to replace them?
You can find brush replacements here: amzn.to/48tvLrU (affiliate*) Make sure they fit your particular brush before buying them
Thanks for commenting on this product.
Thank you
Welcome!😊
Will this clean the hard water stains off of shower doors?
No. This is a better video for hard water stains ruclips.net/video/bxUKUuwkaDU/видео.html
I misplaced the charging unit for my electric spin scrubber and I can't seem to find where I can get a replacement charger
You can contact the manufacturer or on amazon and look it upi my the model you have. Good luck!
@@AskAngelaBrown yeah good luck is right I tried looking it up on Amazon and I tried looking at the manufacturer no luck, thank God I actually found my charger so I don't need to replace it now. So with all due respect thanks for nothing
How do you change heads?
They turn slightly to the right or left and unlock and pop off.
Any clue where to get replacement brushes?
Yes, you can get replacement brushes on line (Paid Link amzn.to/3Wc5I5x) and I believe that the brushes are universal and fit other similar spin scrub brushes. (If not, this link has a new handle to go with it.)
You are the best!
Good in concept but after first charge of 5 hours it lasted 2 minutes then went to a flashing green light. It can barely spin the heads when no pressure is applied just its own weight .Will be returning it looking for a better brand.
Sorry to hear that this happened to you. Thank you for sharing your input, we appreciate it!
can you clean windows with this? ty
How about for FATHER'S DAY? WHY SHOULD THE MOM BE EXPECTED TO CLEAN THE SHOWER?
+blueconversechucks YES! What you said. This makes a perfect Father’s Day gift. Let me know how he love it. 👍
Where is the link to the brush
You can find the link in the description below the video or follow this one: amzn.to/3sMWlfV
How to wash the brushes after cleaning
You can wash them in a bowl of warm water with dish soap and rinse.
Does this scratch fiberglass tubs?
No. It's bristles are very soft. You'll be delighted with it.
Have you ever used a smaller version for dish washing?
The hanger goes over a towel rack. It's in the getting started booklet. It's deceiving at first glance. :-)

I'm looking for replacement brushes for this device. Had it ever since 2019, but clean the brushes with hot soapy water and bleach at the end.
Can u just use water or can I spray bathroom spray n then clean
Yes, once the bathroom is clean you can use a damp cloth to wipe things down.
@@AskAngelaBrown That is the question...how do you rise or wipe down all the soap suds after washing? Don't you still have to use a cloth and bend over to do that???
I like this tool, but is there a way to boost the RPMs?
How does this compare to other products like it?
There are a lot of similar products on the market. The key is to read the specs and know what you're looking for and decide in advance how you plan to use it. If you are comparing it to other products that are similar Amazon is a good place to compare. Any product that has been around for a while has some ratings and reviews and you can learn from users how they liked it and ways they use it in their own homes.

Excellent !!!
Can we get replacement brushes?
Yes, they also have replacement brushes.
It seems mostly for baths and showers.
Thanks!
Mine stopped working after a year. I would not recommend it
Oh no...that stinks! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
