The video showed $39.99 at the beginning of the video. And I doubt if there is a discount for senior citizens, unless you include finding one laying by (not in) the dumpster, minus the charging cord. But it works, although it needs charging.
Thank you for a good review of a new cordless appliance! To expand on the running time afforded by a fully charged battery of about one hour.
As I used mine over time, each charge gave a shorter run time until after a year or so of weekly use, it would run for only a couple of minutes.
I replaced the battery at a cost of $18.00 and it only runs on a full charge for two or three minutes & a new battery doesn't have an expiration date on the shrink tubing used to hold the three small batteries together. You could be buying a battery which has been sitting on a shelf for several years.
This thing is a great idea which was not thought through completely.

Try a mix of vinegar, water, and dawn soap for the glass door. To the same mixture add Clorox for the floors. It works wonders!
I see Dawn in some recipes. Don't know why. What's its purpose in bathroom cleaning?

From personal use for work it does well but can't get off everything all the.time.Just depends on the chemical you use to help break up the stains
I just bought mine yesterday.. expected to have to charge it when i took it out but its fully charged. and i love the way it cleans.. i have alot of health issues and cant get down on my hands and knees and scrub like i used to.. only problem is i wish the brushes came off easier and you should included how to get them off..
Hi Louann I just bought this product thru Kogan and cant wait to try it out on my very old shower and basin. I live in a rental so my bathroom is very worn but I am the same as you I cant bend down and stretch like I used to and Its become a real chore now just to clean the bathroom. I have actually found the bathroom cleaners are making me dizzy and feel unwell so I am trying to change what I use in the bathroom

I bought a Hurricane Spin Scrubber and used it for the first time yesterday. I put the corner head on first, but I can't get it off. That's what bought me to RUclips and your video. From what I can see, you just pull it and wiggle at the same time. I did try that....and other ways, but no luck. I'll try again. One thing that cleaned our shower floor of stains is Ajax. An old fashioned cleaning powder, but it's the only thing that removed the old stains. Great video.
Does anyone know an elderly person who used this? I want to buy it for my mom that has pain in her arms and back, but I am worried because of comments that it is difficult to keep in position due to rotation.

I bought this Hurricane scrubber like a year ago, opened the box but never planned to use it until now, but I lost the manual so can anyone help me pls. how many hours is the initial charging (tho I recall reading it was 20hrs) but how about the regular charging? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks
How much time take to charge harking spin scrubber?
I bought one because of my disability. I love it. It cleans my tub/shower combo and the sink area no problem. I have used it in the kitchen also with great results. I clean my bathroom once a week if it needs it or not which may be the difference in why mine seems to work and hers not so much.

Just pull it. I had same problem at first.
White Vinegar is great for a basic cleaner. Hydrogen Peroxide is great for most mold & mildew. Pretty good review.
How we charge the battery
I think a stronger cleaning solution is needed rather than a simple detergent. Spinscrubber is just a scrubber, just spinning

excellent review-main question for me- are components tough enough to do the job without falling apart? I have just bought one now so time will tell and that is the final test. Much concerned about recharge time and run time--seems to me use of two 18650 batteries joined in parallel would sort that easily so why arent manufacturers using them to eliminate recharge time? -Dyson use them in hand held vacuum cleaners and can be left charging all the time and no reason why hurricane not do the same and cut down recharge time and that's a HINT FOR HURRICANE TO IMPROVE PRODUCT.

Try using White Vinegar, full strength as a cleaning agent.
Another tip....a $5 power toothbrush!!! Seriously, I use one to clean around faucets and small crevices, even the base of the toilet around the floor, it scrubs and on batteries vs rechargeable....much better and cheap.

One needs to use strong products, then scrub seamlessly after the products have done their job of lifting up the grout.

Try spraying undiluted white vinegar everywhere there's a mineral deposit. After 20 minutes rinse thoroughly. Don't scrub. Or lightly scrub with a long handle powerless scrubber. Excessive scrubbing only drains your energy and time for little benefit. Just do that periodically or whenever you'll be in there and have the time. Starting with a dry surface might give a boost to the vinegar dissolving power. Don't be bothered if you can't make it disappear in one go unless someone is threatening you over it.
Sounds like this would be good for soap scum on my glass shower doors. And, yes they are bad because I detest cleaning them. Any mechanical help is appreciated, no matter how many times it has to be recharged!

Great review! Though you did show how to connect up the charger, it would’ve helped had you expressly declared that it was intended for charging only, and not for AC power use as well. Some of the comments on here suggest that it can be used for AC power use as well as battery powered use. But using an AC powered device on surfaces with water invites electrocution.

haven't had issues with mine try going slower and not rushing through the cleaning helps u can also use the scrubber while its plugged in.comet works the best on tubs

I believe the charging cord is intended for charging it only. It is not for use to provide AC power operation. Using AC power to clean sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, or any surface with water is an invitation to possible electrocution, especially since it’s made by Bulbhead.

Mix equal parts white vinegar and dish detergent, spray that on the shower and let it sit for a while, then use the scrubber. I bet everything will come right off.

I tried replacing charging batterys waist of $$$ . I open up botton removed whole mechanism. Took equivelent phone charger removed charging plug in circuit boad 1 wire to motor other to switch now i have a plug in continouse running scrubber very SIMPLE any electrician can do this in minutes. After all its a dc motor. 3.5 volts great torque.
Why was mine 60$ from walmart??

Cleaning any surface and keeping it clean is a long-term process... you can't review a product just for 5 minutes and call it bad... crap accumulate daily on bathroom tub/sink/toilet/surface... it should be cleaned daily or every other day all year to maintain it in good condition...
This is one of the most hilarious reviews I ever watched. I love you and how pretty you are describing this crazy product.
However, there is hardly one positive word in the whole ilustration, not because of you, because of the product. I do own it but never used i, t and thank you for telling me what to expect which is not very much. I love the part when it died on you during cleaning and would take another 8 houors to re charge. ha ha. All and all who ever designed it is smart as he sold many many to people like me and you. I am sure it is a big nuisance to use and nothing our hands a rag or scrub brush cant do. However, it was worth buying to listen to you so patiently and beautifully you described this ridiculous machine.
