Congrats on the cholesterol numbers! Great movement!! Also, congrats on the weight loss. Slow, steady weight loss is best. If you don't think seven pounds is much, go pick up a five pound bag of sugar. That's a lot of weight to not carry around. Now you can work on losing seven more pounds by Thanksgiving! A number of years ago I went from 265lb down to 200lb, but it took me two years to do it by slowly reducing portion sizes. I've been there ever since until spending last summer in a place with no water in the air, where I dropped down to 175lb. Now I'm back in Fla slowly filling my cells with water again to get back to 200lb.
Slow and steady is what worked for me. But I had no major health issues other than I like to eat.

A lot of people don't respond well to statins and those that can take them will often still complain of body aches, it's unfortunate that the injectable that they're giving Mike is one of the last things they offer people when the situation is dire. They're monitoring him closely on it though and it seems to me that he's responding so well to our healthy lifestyle changes that he might not need it for very long anyway. 😊
