Ellen and Co.--- If you like to compose as you go, I highly recommend getting the IP. I cook up 3# potatoes and put them in a 1/2 gal mason jar in fridge. Want a cooked potato? They're done, ready to make potato salad, mashed, fried...Really fast. I make a batch of Brown Basmati Rice, put it into another 1/2 gal MJ and now I have a base for stir fries, top off with cheezy sauce or make a rice pudding or even a stuffing. I also do a jar of sweet potatoes, sure they're kinda ugly, but aren't they nice with a tomato sauce or just mashed plain. I also go low/no oil and the IP keeps the moisture content fairly well so less oils/margarine needed for those mashed dishes. Want a quick soup, just do your broth, add a potato put through your blender (you don't have to have a VitaMix but a high powered one helps, the Oster 1200 is mine) then jazz up seasonings and you have a cream of potato soup to which you can later add croutons, steamed veggies, broccoli, or peas and each day have a new incarnation. It also makes vegan yogurt so definitely a cost savings tool. Cheers!
My whole family have been vegan just over 6 months. I found this video so helpful as i have 2 hungry teenagers and this is quick and cheap. You were speaking my language. Thank you.
Note on 6:49 : PLEASE don't put your bare hands on the steam going out of a pressure cooker. It can lead to serious burning. The idea of having a pressure cooker is awesome, though. In Brazil, pressure cooking is a must, as we have beans as our main food choice (which makes canned beans not an option on the long run,...), together with rice. For people that live in places where an electric pressure cooker is too expensive, you can try the old (but effective) pressure cookers that go on your stove tops as any other simple pan. And of course, you will be the timer, so be attentive to avoid burning your meal. LoL
I want to become vegan so bad but I work long hours and have so little time to cook please send me some positive vibes to be able to change my eating habits. Thanks for the video.
Personally I find new recipes intimidating when I’m pressed for time, so I like to add in some new things on the weekends/when I have more time. Then I’ll know the recipes that I like and will have a much easier time eating them. My favorite thing to make when I’m pressed for time is a quick southwestern bowl. I make rice ahead of time, but you could also do some in the microwave while you’re cooking the rest. I cook some tofu (just because I like it, not necessary), peppers and onions (I get the frozen bags usually), black beans, corn, and salsa until everything is a good temperature. If I’m not doing tofu, that’s like 5-7 minutes and you’re done. I add some seasonings like cumin, chili powder, paprika, and sometimes lime juice. Super easy base that you can change up depending on what you have or what you want to eat. And of course meals like pasta, salads, or sandwiches are pretty quick. If you want any more suggestions, I’d be glad to offer some. It’s super easy once you get started! Good luck on your journey!!
When all else fails you can eat peanut butter sandwiches, pieces of fruit, crackers and hummus, handfuls of nuts, avocado toast with nooch, frozen or canned vegetables microwaved with canned beans and a sauce (like BBQ or sriracha), and buy vegan products that are pricey and processed but they are tasty and fast (and some are healthier than others, I love Gardein).
Thanks for the help. Although I stay away from microwaves. I have been watching many vids that are helping. Ps. I need me that insta pot. I own a pressure cooker but it doesn’t cook for the future! So awesome. !!
Instant pot change my life, bought it used of course. I paid 30$ for it. Never buy new stuff if there are plenty of used units around. These things have 2 safety heat fuses that when blown, cut the AC current. So if they are listed broken, they will be probably easy to fix by replacing the 1c fuses. Or if you machine is "broken", its most likely the fuses. They are build so that the fuses are not made to be replaced by the user, bad design in that way. But they are still easy to replace. The unit is extremely cheaply build, but works surprisingly well and has a proper stainless steel pot.
Hi mic I want to thank you. Me and my partner decided to switch from vegetarian to vegan for this years resolution and we've felt a bit lost on what to eat, how not to either go broke or cheat on our resolution... So today I tried your oatmeal method(just used a pan), used the apple and blueberries and some cinnamon, and it was awesome. The rest of your videos have also been really helpful and informative, so keep up the good work! :)
Jezus chrizt. Eat fruit and vegetables, you're done. It's really not difficult. Batch cook your food on a day of your choosing, make that a routine and buy in bulk to save money.
Thanks for the great vid. It was perfectly suited for me. I went vegan (leaning mostly on the whole foods plant based health philosophy) about 5 months ago, and one of my biggest struggles was cooking delicious home cooked meals. I bought an instant pot which just arrived today so I could cook dry beans and rice easier. I didn't know about it's ability to cook in the future, nor did I consider cooking oats in it, which gave me problems in the past. Thanks!
This is a great video for me to share with non vegans to help them transition. I was just talking with close friends last night after watching What the Health together. We talked about a food service but this would help them cook at home cheaper. Thanks Mike.
Thank you so much Mic great video. When people ask me why I became vegan I will say "just look at Mic's videos and tell me what you think?" So straightforward compassionate and filled with thought provoking information. I admire your and Lindy's ethical actions with your tiny house too. Look forward to your future videos and wish you all the very best.
Also, pro tip for instant pot. Put a folded towel over the steam release valve before opening it. Then it wont steam away your kitchen cupboards. Or burn your hands.
Awesome video! I've been eating a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast every morning. At first I though it would be gross, but once you put in the berries and fruits and dates... it's SOOOOOOO good! Also, I notice I don't get sleepy half way through the day anymore.
Exactly! I used to hate oatmeal because I’d only had the prepackaged garbage oatmeal before going vegan. I fell in love with it once I made my own and added fresh goodies to it.
Take a blood glucose test after and see how your body actually reacts. I used to eat oatmeal and actually learned to love it. Started taking 1h and 2h post-prandial (post-meal) glucose tests at home and realized that oatmeal shot my blood sugar to crazy levels yet I felt fine. Never would have known had I not tested myself. Just because a food is healthy, doesn't mean it is healthy for YOU. Everyone is different.
I love your videos! And you seem to be a nice guy to be around. Your content varies and doesn‘t get boring. Your voice and the way you talk is good to listen to and never gets too much. Thank you for helping the movement!

I always add some tiny lentils to my morning cereal (oats, millet, tef, quinoa, sometimes amaranth), then some blueberries, strawberries, bananas & ground flaxseed. I like to experiment, so far just stove-top but I do have an Insta Pot. I started my WFPB eating with canned mixed veggies & canned greens (Margaret Holmes canned collards, turnip greens & other southern style goodies, no or minimal added oil). I have since branched out & now cook lots of crucifers myself & of course other stuff. Basically I kind of make up meals as I go. I have a small open-top freezer & freeze virtually everything. This enables me to reach in the freezer, grab some handfuls of green stuff, put them in a bowl & heat in the microwave. But I need to incorporate the Insta-Pot to this process.
This is awesome! This is how real people cook. "Aka grabbing some veggies out with my hand" haha. My husband and I think your videos are so great! We bought your cook book and can't wait to try the recipes!
Great video. I use a SilPat to bake not parchment. They've come down in price lately and sold at Bed, Bath, or Amazon. It lasts for almost a year. Loved watching you use the Instant Pot - since I don't use all the functions you do. This is great instruction. Also - my son cooks almost everything in an electric rice cooker. He cooks his steel cut oats, cooks combined rice and lentils with veggies cut up and spices, cooks almost everything this way.
My roommate is bringing home an instapot. Super excited. Good job on promoting bulk items with reusable containers. I went to my local Co-op and restocked a bunch of my bulk and most ingredients are organic. So much cheaper!
@@peggyb86 He's a big man and often times vegan food has less calories, meaning you have to usually consume more. My rule is that I eat until I'm full which is pretty easy for me, everyone is different though.
From an Italian. Mic don't put the pasta in a cold bowl and pour sauce on top of it. With a big spoon with wholes pull out the noodle from the boiling water and toss it in the sauce with the fire still on. Let it simmer for a minute or two so the flavors melt together. Turn off the fire add some "cheese" and serve it.
Gigi Pizzuto I don't think he eats vegan cheese because he's oil free but yes I agree with you. I always put cooked pasta in the sauce for a minute or two. Its great with eggplant and FYH vegan mozzarella.
Most mornings I have oatmeal. Steel cut with cinnamon, coconut and raisins and chunks of garnet yam (yes). Then add blueberries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sliced almonds on top. Yummy! Thanks for all your hard work!
You could also just use plain quick oats, put a couple scoops of that in a bowl, add water ( from the kettle, pop it in the microwave, etc) and then add syrup ( for sweetener or what ever you like) add some chia seeds, a spoonful of what ever nut butter and fruit ( bananas are my personal fav. I usually mash them in with my oat meal. On the days I don't have bananas I'll use what ever fruit I have handy, or no fruit because money) and bam, you have delicious oat meal that's ready like in less than 5 min.... may not be the healthiest way but it gets the job done.
Ashley Frost quick oats aren't as nutritious as steel cut, and we need to be really careful about artificial sweeteners too. Fruit adds sweetness with an added nutrition boost, so is clearly the best option for sweetening. But each to their own...🤗
My dad is making more vegan choices and I'm thinking of having him do veganuary(idk how to spell that) because hes getting pretty old and his diet is startibgv to catch up to him. Hopefully he will join in on it !!! Great video as always ! I really love you cooking videos. Have a great day!🌱
I never did see the difficulty. I went from hard core 200grams of protein per day to fruitarian with ease. All I needed to see was what it was doing to me, and what I had to gain. Or maybe I just have a will of steel.
Thanks for showing the insta pot, looks really cool, setting it to have something ready in the morning would be awesome, I have a lot of trouble getting out of bed in time.
I eat oatmeal most mornings. In the winter I'll get up 45 minutes early, turn up the furnace, then prepare a bowl of oats in a Pyrex bowl, adding a bunch of frozen berries and a little maple syrup (gotta start adding flax...). I put it in my toaster oven, set at 350°, turn the timer dial to 30 minutes, and go back to bed for 40-45 minutes. The toaster oven automatically shuts off when the timer runs down, and I let it cool another 10 or 15 minutes. House is warm, and breakfast is ready when I get up again.
I got an Instant Pot for Christmas so thank you for the great timing of this video, I'd love to see more recipes using it. Also thanks for keeping it real can't wait to check out the cookbook. 👍🏻

Great vid. Looking forward to your batch cooking. Just went vegan 4 weeks ago. Thanks for your nutritional info on your channel and your ebook, so I’m feeling confident going forward.
Braised red cabbage is really good. I use half an onion, about half a red cabbage head, and less than a tsp of canola oil. The oil is completely optional and doesn’t really help with cooking it just gives it a better texture and taste. Add a splash of vinegar at the end and salt and pepper to taste.
Mic thans for the video and food demonstration. I would do this. Here's my story, I am living with my daughter and son-in-law right now. They are vegans. I told them sure I'm ready to try it and be flexible to something new. I started oh at the end of December and here it is in March. I'm doing good so far and really love this. I have always had degestive problems and even losing some hair. But trying to make change. My mother passed away from cancer back in 1998 so this discernment and being responsible for what I eat is very important to me.
I'd be lost without my Instant Pot - best investment ever. Great video for those who thing Vegan is too complicated. I had a few Instant Pot recipes (red lentil chili) that I made weekly to get me into the swing of things.
Just got the Instant Pot for Christmas and already love it. I made vegan corn chowder and some letil curry. Lots of recipes for instant pot on Pinterest. It is so easy to throw stuff in there and have it ready in 20 minutes. I will be buying all lentils and beans dry and in bulk now. Oh, and rice too! Best thing I have invested in since I started my vegan journey in July17! The pasta and sauce meal looks great! I will try it with fresh ingredients soon! Thanks Mic!
I remember watching it right when it came out on my other account. Watching this again, it's just as good to watch the second time around. Keep it up, my dude
So what do we do with our shoes/boots/bags that are made of animal hides? I've been vegan for many years and have items that I don't know what to do with! Perhaps a video for this topic would help reduce animal consumption as well!
Andrea Wilson We were given a toy cat that was clearly made of real cat fur, so we’re going to bury it in our back garden along with our deceased pets. 😔 Obviously you can’t do that with tons of handbags and shoes, so it’s a case of using them till they fall apart as you already have them, throwing them away, or giving them to somebody. There’s not really a “right” answer.
Mike, thanks for a really great short intro to the Instant Pot. I received one as a Christmas present and am so ready to start cooking more dried beans in it. If you have any pointers, please share!
Here is a meal: get plants, boil until soft, add things to make tasty (salt, tomato sauce), eat :D (if you taste sweet, you have boiled fruit, so you fail at veganism).
The salt is so fricking important. Tonight I made spaghetti with Trader Joe's marinara, fresh squash and zucchini, and canned tomatoes. I stupidly didn't use salt and it was very bland and hard to eat. It could have been delicious, but I'm a new vegan and didn't know what spices to put in. Suggestions? How much salt do I need to put in sauce?
Hi. If you are a new vegan, just don't worry about salt, use as much as you find it tasty. New vegans have a very high chance of failing and going back to animal products so lets make it easier. After like a year or two you have great chances to continue veganism successfully, then you can try making it even healthier.
Thanks for the advice. I can't go overboard with the salt though, because my husband has hypertension and heart disease. But I will definitely use a little in my cooking from now on.
A good thing that can add a lot of sweetness to unsweetened oatmeal are plantains. If you have extra time in the morning frying up some ripe plantains make for a great sweetened oatmeal. Just make sure they are fairly ripe or else they may get hard when u try and fry them
plantspace.org/oil-free-cookware/ This is all the oil free cookware that Mic recommends on his site. Hey Mic! Please put a link to this on your site. I always have to search the forum for you post about it. :)
Great idea about the maple syrup on the Tempe. I eat steel cut oats every morning I add to it after it is cooked flax powder, fruit prefer cherries, chia seeds, oat bran, and nutritional yeast...mix it all in, it is delicious.
this video made me subscribe and motivate me not to give up .....you look great .....i see you do not cook with salt and spices? you have a great body do you exercise?
Hi Mike I've been having cold normal oats mixed in with steal cut oats, ground flaxseed and wheatgerm with cold almond milk. Just cannot have them with warm or hot plant milk. Is it still healthy having it this way ?? Thanks for the video content mate. It's been a gradual transition for me over the past 6 years, but have been off all animal products for the last two years and have found massive improvement in my general health and wellness 👍💪😁
Thanks for the replies everyone. I cycle close to 300kms weekly and oats are my go to food. Often have them in the evening as a snack if I'm still hungry. Keep well and all the best for 2018
This is very similar to what I eat now apart from the tempeh. One of my new year’s resolutions is to eat more fruit & veggies and be less lazy with food! This is a great guide to an easy vegan day though and a fab reminder to me to be less lazy 😁😜
I've only cooked pasta in my instant pot once so far in the last you're using a recipe for mushroom stroganoff. Her advice on the formula and cooking pasta was too only cook it high pressure for half the time of the minimum amount of time that the bag of pasta recommends. It actually work perfectly! That being said the 7-minute minimum cooking time for the pasta, which was a whole wheat, actually, only took three and a half minutes.
Thanks for all of your informative videos. I'm trying to transition into a vegan diet going on three weeks now. Your videos have been a big help so thanks 😊
in my country flax and chia cost around the same... Both are imported so the price is high regardless. 😑 is there a major difference? I usually buy chia because I don't like the flavor of flax
Jovis just make sure it’s ground. I can find ground flax easier than ground chia. If it’s not ground it will pass without you getting all the benefits. Flax also have substantially more lignans and there is benefits to that as well but don’t overdue it.
Both are fine and I don't think you need either. Some people think you need lots of essential omega-3 ALA but I'm pretty sure out body only needs much smaller amounts of ALA than this and doesn't use the rest.l so I don't ise it.
Chia can actually be fully digested without any need to grind them :) that is why I tend to use chia, as ground flax seed go stale more easily and I do not want to grind them myself :D
You do! If it's just you, they have a mini version - that's what I have & I LOVE it!!! (Only - I cook my pasta for 3-4 mins - any longer and it's complete mush)

Yass! I need that thing. I hate cooking!! All the vegan cooking channels I try to watch I’m like oh no I’m not doing all that and I’d also need need appliances ingredients I’ll never use again and hours in a day I don’t have. What He did here is def my style.
Cheers!
CMS Sultana Wow, those are really awesome ideas, thank you!!! 😀
Ellen V.S. I love cooking I throw a hamburger in a frying pan and couple minutes later bang dinner is ready.

My whole family have been vegan just over 6 months. I found this video so helpful as i have 2 hungry teenagers and this is quick and cheap. You were speaking my language. Thank you.
The Costco frozen vegetable mix is a lifesaver! I use it all the time
Note on 6:49 : PLEASE don't put your bare hands on the steam going out of a pressure cooker.
Thanks for the video.
check out Cheap Lazy Vegan. Her videos should help you
Personally I find new recipes intimidating when I’m pressed for time, so I like to add in some new things on the weekends/when I have more time.
When all else fails, canned beans are a lifesaver.
Hi mic
I want to thank you.
That spiral cut to the apple changed my life lol. 🙏🏼✨
I see you like a little oatmeal with your fruit...lol
Yvonne Dundee lol.
Also, pro tip for instant pot. Put a folded towel over the steam release valve before opening it. Then it wont steam away your kitchen cupboards. Or burn your hands.
Awesome timing. I was literally bought a pressure cooker this xmas.
Good work Mic.
Just discovered your channel and I’m obsessed! Love how you know what you’re talking about. Keep being awesome!😊🌱
Awesome video! I've been eating a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast every morning. At first I though it would be gross, but once you put in the berries and fruits and dates... it's SOOOOOOO good! Also, I notice I don't get sleepy half way through the day anymore.
My Drawing Tutorials I like to add a tbsp of almond butter..so good.
T P why would you be in that crap diet?
I put one honey mango and its glorious. omg.
I'm sure this is a new one for you: Your channel is amazing! :) . Your videos are filled with actual, educational KNOWLEDGE!, it's packed with tidbits, pretty concise, and precise scientific information. For beginners, and old time vegans. Please keep doing what you're doing!.. Thank you && Great Work!
Best video ever 😘you look really good by the way makes me follow your awesome advice even more! Plants are the best
Yum, these are all so simple but look great and not at all intimidating to make. Thanks for the video!
Whoa I need to try that Apple technique!
Love the practical video! Your usual videos are great and I wouldn't change up your usual style but it's nice to mix things up every once in a while.
I don't eat anything I can't assemble and microwave, and I'm happy with my vegan options.
My roommate is bringing home an instapot. Super excited. Good job on promoting bulk items with reusable containers. I went to my local Co-op and restocked a bunch of my bulk and most ingredients are organic. So much cheaper!
Minimalist baker got me started. Cowspiracy. And you Mic.
Won'tRespond nice! Have you watched What the Health (same director as Cowspiracy) and Earthlings yet?
Can't he just make a salad sandwich or something for lunch...that lunch is a dinner
@@peggyb86 He's a big man and often times vegan food has less calories, meaning you have to usually consume more. My rule is that I eat until I'm full which is pretty easy for me, everyone is different though.
Thanks for sharing! You can also cook potatoes in microwave. 3 min per potato
Christi Nash you can make your own cheese oil free. I do.
Christi Nash pretty sure hummus has olive oil in it
Gigi Pizzuto Lol as a Latina the beans were sad too... no flavor
But each to their own...🤗
Thank you thank you!! Off to go shopping now 🏃♀️
My dad is making more vegan choices and I'm thinking of having him do veganuary(idk how to spell that) because hes getting pretty old and his diet is startibgv to catch up to him. Hopefully he will join in on it !!! Great video as always ! I really love you cooking videos. Have a great day!🌱
*starting* and *your* XD
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Good health and happy new year
Thanks Mic, Great vid... You've grown on me 😊
I love salsa for lunch over dishes with potatoes or rice..salsas also have so many variations. Thanks again for a wonderful video!
Thank you , I'm 6 days vegan , obsessed , a little bloated but feeling great love Vegan stuff- what was I thinking this last 40 years
Queenie Queen
How’s it going now?
Hey there! Still vegan ? If not, what happened ?
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the antioxidant chart. Cant wait for that video.
Coming through with that late night upload. Keep up the good work man.
just perfect for us europeans
I eat oatmeal most mornings. In the winter I'll get up 45 minutes early, turn up the furnace, then prepare a bowl of oats in a Pyrex bowl, adding a bunch of frozen berries and a little maple syrup (gotta start adding flax...). I put it in my toaster oven, set at 350°, turn the timer dial to 30 minutes, and go back to bed for 40-45 minutes. The toaster oven automatically shuts off when the timer runs down, and I let it cool another 10 or 15 minutes. House is warm, and breakfast is ready when I get up again.
Sweat potato , oats and cinnamon with 3 serves of fruit on the side every morning
Sweet potato in the morning? Interesting, haven't tried that
I got an Instant Pot for Christmas so thank you for the great timing of this video, I'd love to see more recipes using it. Also thanks for keeping it real can't wait to check out the cookbook. 👍🏻
The "Pressure Cook" button = "Manual" button on the newer or different models.
please please do more instant pot videos!! this was super helpful as an aspiring vegan, thank you!
I like putting in chia seeds and soak them in my oatmeal over night
Thank you I'm doing the vegan for January, planning on staying vegan and videos like this is really helpful xx
The Amazon silicone baking mats were literally in my cart! 😬 Thanks for the heads up! What's a good brand?
Well these have better reviews than the amazon ones: www.amazon.com/Silicone-Baking-Mat-Professional-Nonstick/dp/B00Y5VO7F4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1514585354&sr=8-3&keywords=silicon+baking+sheets
Great vid. Looking forward to your batch cooking. Just went vegan 4 weeks ago. Thanks for your nutritional info on your channel and your ebook, so I’m feeling confident going forward.
This is awesome! Thank you!
Braised red cabbage is really good. I use half an onion, about half a red cabbage head, and less than a tsp of canola oil. The oil is completely optional and doesn’t really help with cooking it just gives it a better texture and taste. Add a splash of vinegar at the end and salt and pepper to taste.
Thank you
Mic thans for the video and food demonstration.
Thanks Mic!
liked before watching
Not even a new vegan and I found this really helpful! Always looking for delicious, simple, healthy recipes. 😊
More videos like this Mic. Awesome video!
Mike, thanks for a really great short intro to the Instant Pot. I received one as a Christmas present and am so ready to start cooking more dried beans in it. If you have any pointers, please share!
Good Video Mike, love the salad
This is EXACTLY what I needed to see to help out with instant pot ideas.
Thanks Mic the Vegan!
Here is a meal: get plants, boil until soft, add things to make tasty (salt, tomato sauce), eat :D (if you taste sweet, you have boiled fruit, so you fail at veganism).
Nikolay Nikolov 😂😂
LOL
The spiral cut was GENIUS
Do you think you'll also make physical copies of your book later on (instead of just e books)? I'd buy it
A good thing that can add a lot of sweetness to unsweetened oatmeal are plantains. If you have extra time in the morning frying up some ripe plantains make for a great sweetened oatmeal. Just make sure they are fairly ripe or else they may get hard when u try and fry them
Which non toxic non stick pan do you use? I want one 🙃
Mermz Same! 🙋🏻♀️
Same!

This is all the oil free cookware that Mic recommends on his site.
Hey Mic! Please put a link to this on your site. I always have to search the forum for you post about it. :)
WildFlower dutch pot from jamaica is perfect you can order it online.
He definitely doesnt lift weights, maybe he runs though.
Cinnamon is indeed a spice 😏
me
Waiting for the batch cooking video, thanks for all Mike
Hi Mike I've been having cold normal oats mixed in with steal cut oats, ground flaxseed and wheatgerm with cold almond milk. Just cannot have them with warm or hot plant milk. Is it still healthy having it this way ?? Thanks for the video content mate. It's been a gradual transition for me over the past 6 years, but have been off all animal products for the last two years and have found massive improvement in my general health and wellness 👍💪😁
Nick Laz Yes, it's still healthy eating oats raw... Fruit adds lots of micronutrients tho, so adding some fruit would boost your nutrition profile...😊
Of course it's still healthy. Frozen blueberries, fresh fruit, or dried fruit will make it taste better though.
Yep! I eat cold oats with cold plant milk every day, with ground flax, raisins, and dates. So good. Have you ever tried overnight oats?
Thanks for the replies everyone. I cycle close to 300kms weekly and oats are my go to food. Often have them in the evening as a snack if I'm still hungry. Keep well and all the best for 2018
I wouldn't recommend raw steel cut oats because raw grains can make your stomach hurt but nutritionally there isn't much difference.
This is very similar to what I eat now apart from the tempeh. One of my new year’s resolutions is to eat more fruit & veggies and be less lazy with food! This is a great guide to an easy vegan day though and a fab reminder to me to be less lazy 😁😜
I like uncooked old fashion rolled oats with nuts, fruit, and ground flax with unsweetened vegan milk. To me it tastes better without cooking.
NoExitLoveNow same.Cooked oats have this really weird texture to me.
Yeah uncooked tastes amazing with fruit and almond milk
Steven Walling I’m going to have to try this! I’ve heard a couple of people say it tastes great.
Is it ok to eat the oatmeal raw?
Jesmar Camilo Loaiza Lagos Why not?
Hannah Sakuraiku ruclips.net/video/PfxrhimGIvg/видео.html
thanks people! yeah I've noticed when I eat flax whole they just don't really digest much, and I don't have a food processor to grind them anyway
Hi! I decided to use this as my jumping off point and made the first two meals today! They were totally yum!!! Going vegan for ALL the reasons!!!
Dude I need that instant pot!!!!
Amazon Black Friday in July will have them cheap.
You do! If it's just you, they have a mini version - that's what I have & I LOVE it!!! (Only - I cook my pasta for 3-4 mins - any longer and it's complete mush)
Cerenade Me wow thanks!! I’ll be cooking for 2. What a time saver, I’m excited!
Kelley King omg thank you!!! I buy everything on amazon!!
Damn I love cooking and my lifestyle is one meal a day, you people eat way too much glucose.
Hey MIc just bought your cookbook looking forward to adding this to my vegan toolbelt !!! I'll let you know how it goes !!! Thanks for taking the time to put this out for us !!!
Sweet
Meal prep vid is what I need. Looked easy and satisfying. Def trying that lunch bowl tomorrow - though mine will need more broccoli and add carrots. Thanks!
