The sound of this exhaust reminds me of a 2000 chevy malibu v6 3100 i had. I pulled the muffler off and it made an interesting exhaust note at idle and for the firsr 2k rpms. But as soon as it got to about 3k which is what it cruised at in most gears it was virtually silent again. It would rev up and the sound would just dissappear. It was bizarre. I guess the cat and resonator really did their jobs well.

Sounds pretty good, actually. Once I rode a Yamaha V-Max (not my bike) with a similar setup, one straight pipe for each of its 4 cylinders. It sounds really mean.
