A few tips for the viewers: No need to buy those expensive net pots. Instead you can use discarded (used) and clean k-cup pods. Just cut some slits in the bottom and sides. Instead of the expensive clay pebbles, get a bag of calcined clay. This is the stuff that they put on ballfields, put in kitty litter, and use in auto shops to soak up oil spills. If using kitty litter be sure to use the type without any addictives or chemicals. Instead of construction paper to block out light and to prevent algae, use empty chip bags or empty brown paper bags. If you wish, you can have shiny side out when using chip bags. I have heard that some people like to use aluminum foil. You can use thin masking tape to cover a vertical area of your grow jar. Then to check the roots, just peal it to peek and reapply.

I'm curious about the electric costs of grow lights.

Is there any parts that can be 3d printed? I bet that could be cheaper.

Buy the dollar store ones, take 5 mins to drill the holes and spend 3 mins watering every other day. It'll cost you $10. Don't be lazy and waste money on these.

I enjoyed video. I use LED full spectrum 32w bulb for seeds & green by GE for my plants at vegetation stage & then they go into the window for flowering! Works great

Hello friend. I grow houseplants in hydropony and I do it as much naturaly as possible. To avoid green water, the perfect algae eater is Daphnia magna. Iam not sure if it can survive in such a concetration of nutrients, as I dose it weekly. Another possibilities to oxygenate the water if we want to avoid electric oxygenating or using H2O2 is to add moss ball, or just part of it . This plant is super slow growing but the best oxygenator I know. It will not consume nutrients but it will produce tons of oxygen. To lower PH is possilbe to use peat moss as bottom of jar. I know this wont be Kratky anymore, but its more natural way. Enjoy guys.

I am pretty new to this. Started with a smal Aerogarden and it's now in my pantry, not in use. We have decided to go all in on hydroponics, almost bought an indoor system for $1500 bucks until I did more research and found your youtube channel. It is the Nutraponics system. Crazy, but this type of farming is not easily researched. I am absolutely grateful for your channel and everything you are sharing. Thank you. The water I uses to fill the TG is from well so the outside is getting rusty and is hard to clean, I need some advice you can give me, thank you.

Do you ever use grow lights on your seedlings? I have watched several of your videos and they are truly helpful… I was giving my seedlings the wrong kind of light (red/blue) from the getgo… I am trying to save the seedlings I have already started… hopefully it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

thank you for the instruction its a very nice hobby i like to have an idea build something and see it working i love how fast hydroponics are compared to earth but i miss something in the taste of hydro fruits there is less variety of aroma in my opinion i thought maybe there is a way to combine earth and hydroponics i tried making a "swamp" with bubbler but its a mess and in larger pots with 20 gallons or more its hard to handle indoors alone...but what would happen when you take a plant in a pot grown in earth and hang the outgrowing roots in a dwc? then you should have faster growth with all the magic happening in the soil anyone ever tried this?
