    I've been doing low pressure aero for 10 years . I've grown in ebb n flood coco dwc and aero . Aeroponics well out preforms everything else by double once you get it down and the plants always seem to look so much better.

      @mlissgay5054 I could write all I know in many huge paragraphs and that scratches the surface . You have to go a search basic hydroponics and look at design. It's a pump that stays water every so often . Different crops and different climates in different parts of the world have different feed ppm and watering times. There isn't one answer. You have to learn it.

    10 years ago I set out to build the ultimate aeroponic cloner for my tightly scheduled perpetual garden, and after years of trial and error as well as lots of logged data, I ended up building a "Super Cloner" with a small 16 site EZ Cloner kit, a NovaTec Coolworks ice probe micro chiller and temperature controller, along with the Bluelab Guardian monitor system, and I typically see roots in early as 3-5 days, with fully transplantable clones in early as 7-10 days depending on genetics. This is done with the pump running constantly, under Sunblaster LED's also ran 24/7. I use a simple bath towel to insulate the reservoir (makes water changes and cleaning much easier than permanently insulating the reservoir, as well as storage when not in use.) I like to keep the water temp around 75-80F in the wintertime, and 68-78F in the summertime. For nutrients I use: Clonex Cloning Solution, EZ Clone Clear Rez, SLF-100, and rooting compound gel added directly to the reservoir only on day one of the total cycle. Since i've built this cloner I might have had some cuts take a few days longer than others to root or to be fully ready for transplant, but i've never had a clone not root in under 2 weeks/14 days. Climate usually around 78-82F, RH usually around 50-70%. If there's any advice I can give to anyone interested in learning aeroponics, is to start small, log and learn from your data, and definitely use a chiller and constant monitoring system. That goes with pretty much any type of wet system, whether aero, DWC, RDWC, and so on. The warmer the temps, the faster the growth rate, but also a breeding ground for bacteria in the system. The cooler the temps, the slower the growth rate, yet the more sterile and cleaner the reservoir. ✂️🌱 🫧

    I just built my own hybrid aeroponic tower garden on my terrace with 4 towers, each having 28 plant holes. I can't believe I didn't come across your channel earlier during my research. RUclips's algorithm works in mysterious ways sometimes. 🤷🏽‍♂️Anyway, I'm browsing through some of your videos and wish I had found this information sooner. It could have saved me a lot of trouble. Well im diving into my first Grow Op (mountain cabbage wink wink), gonna try get a Low pressure setup going but i can also find some high volume water pumps that will substitute my need for a pressure chamber (theoretically) if i add a regulator to the end of the water piping that opens above x pressure (aiming for around 5-6 bar). Its gonna be pretty cheap i dont wanna botger with hydro because i wanna learn how to do aeroponics properly and maybe turn it into a business, i think the low water usage is going to be a good selling point in the cities and suburbs

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  Год назад

      If you use a solution that is really heavy and thick like the GH nova series it won't take long at all. But stuff like the GH flora series and most of the fox farm nutrients will never be an issue. With lpa setup you should never have to do a full cleaning if you run h202 weekly. With HPA I've heard differently. I've never done a hpa build only lpa so I can't report on experience. Maybe someone who has will find this comment thread and inform us on that. But with the tiny hole in hpa heads, I imagine it could become an issue.

    • @atomizer2665
      @atomizer2665 Год назад +1

      @@humblegrowth
      Never had an issue with clogged nozzles in HPA. Air atomized aero is superior to HPA as it offers absolute control over every variable. With HPA you cant separate the droplet size from the flow rate because they are both affected by the water pressure. An increase in water pressure produces smaller droplets but it also increases the nozzle flow rate. AA allows you to control the droplet size and the flow rate independently. LPA lacks the control of HPA or AA , it delivers too much water which results in a hydroponic root structure. LPA performs as well as a good NFT but its easier to manage. I`ve run the same variety of tomatoes in LPA, NFT and HPA outdoors at the same time, HPA was the clear winner in terms of growth rates, plant health, yield, water and power use.

      It would work for sure, just not sure how long. If your not going to do high pressure, you are really better off with hydroponics imo. The risk of thing like root rot go up significantly the more water you use. I would also never do fog ponics. The ultrasonic fogger is exactly that. Ultrasonic bubble are used in cleaning metals because of the cavitation happening as the bubbles pop. This has to be devastating to any roots that make it to the solution the fogger sits in.

      I've grown in aeroponics for the past 10 years. It's what I do now . I've been growing 25 years. High pressure areo is great for a company that can dedicate staff 24/7 to it. Per a plant there isn't that much gain to low pressure vs high pressure but of 50 thousands plants per a year there is. On top of the investment needed for upgrades to electricity alone are insane. Low pressure aeroponics will give you tripple the grow over a coco setup and come close to hp setup. I use a hybrid system of low water dwc with a 1200gph submessible pump sprayer. 6 weeks I have plants that look like some ones hedge outside and a get pound a plant .

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  Год назад +1

      2 main issues to fix. 1st the reliability of the ultrasonic foggers, higher end multi disc setups might fix it. 2nd because of the droplet size, plants that require more water need the fog for a longer period of time to get wet enough, however, while it's running the plants are being choked of oxygen. possible just perfecting the run time for your plants. None, fog is the best. In a perfectly engineered system. Biological death from the ultrasonic is an issue to get around. High quality nutes designed for aqua seem to hold up to it fine. Organic won't I'd assume. A perfectly designed fog would mix the perfect ratio of oxygen to fog. Root growth and fog dispersion to all will be a happy problem. The tap roots still search for liquid so runners sitting in condensed fog can be problematic too.
