1st of all - THANKS A LOT !!! seems an awesome idea !! 1 question - why do not open more holes in each layer for better water coverage ? as seen in video in 5:47 the stream hits the wall and falls down, total missing the roots - am i corect ?
The water pressure in that shot was really low, I wish I reshot it. Typically the water hits the wall with more pressure and sprays the roots regardless of the location. That shot was misleading I apologize.
Where does the pump cord exit, and does it need to be wrapped to protect it from the water? I assume it runs up through the 1 1/2 inch hole in the bottom of the buckets.
They are indeed! I don't worry in food safe plastic. I used to worry a lot more, but I learned that a lot of the leakage comes down to temperature. Are you on the big island? Growing indoor or out?

Nice build ❤
Thanks 😁
Pouring cold water on the hot plastic hole should speed up its cooling dramatically.

@@humblegrowth thanks a lot for the reply/clarification
Do you have an update on this, can you show us what the plants look like now

I drilled a hole in the top corner that I full with a pool noodle.
Are those buckets BPA free?
yes sir
Have you had any problems with heavy plants pulling the buckets off balance?
I see you have buckets from Lowe's, are they food grade? Do you have any concerns about chemical leakage?
They are indeed!

Can someone tell me what water pump can pump this much water up
amzn.to/40aQPCq there you are
Do you fill up the buckets with clay pellet as your medium. How long will your nutrient solution last before replenishing.
No median, just air. Should last a month for early growth and a week for flower.
