That two-fer is the real winner here. Being able to use the large cut out from the bucket for a mason jar is super efficient.
It's made my kratky's setup so cheap & easy. Hopefully you give it a go too!
Forgot to mention, I am using 2 inch net pots, and hydroponic clay pebbles as the grow median, Thanks for watching!!

Ouch, those lids on amazon are expensive. Your hydro store should be selling those for less than $4 USD. If you ever decide to do Grodan blocks for larger plants, the 6" basket fits a 4" cube perfectly just FYI.
For the Mason jars. Why not just use the regular Mason jar lids?
Good question! I've done that before, and the metal from the OG Mason jar lid rusts very quickly
@@humblegrowth yeah they do. You could use the plastic ones. But, I guess the recycled ones are free.
