So happy that I found you...I am hearing impaired and I understand every word you teach. Thank God....I have found the other channels to sound like mumbling. Also, I would recommend this channel to anyone that needs a good thorough lesson in hydroponics...thank you...have a blessed day
Thanks for the tips. The sock idea is brilliant!! I painted my jars with black spray paint. Which means I need to lift it to check. Definitely will try the lettuce head hack.
I'm a beginner and I'm interested in the Kratky method. Is it necessary to use the golden tree solution in order for the plants to grow? Because I'm considering getting the Humboldt A&B solution. Is the harvest tasty using this solution? I like your idea of no show socks.
you answered one of my questions. if you had short roots did you have to submerge them. I have the pebbles. did not know they worked as a wick. I've purchased some 3" net cups that came with a string which I'm assuming also works as a wick?
Thank you for the video. Would you mind sharing fertilizer and water ratio? Also, do you make the solution in distilled water or normal water from kitchen sink? Thank you!
Thanks Lynn. Appreciate the comments. I know I say um a ton in my videos. It drives my husband crazy - and me too. I'm doing my best to reduce the amount of times say it on camera.

You can clip the bottom of the basket with scissors so you don't have to cut the roots. They will fit right in.
Thank you for the tips and love the cat cameo. Great idea to have the cat food above the floor.
So glad you turned up on my time line.
Very helpful. I'm going to give it a try. I have a lot of lettuce seeds but this is great to start while the seeds take a while. Thanks for sharing.
Such a clear and thorough review. 💕
What a great idea of using a sock ! To buy sleeves for mason jar it is too expensive

Great idea! What are those black sleeves you have on your jars? I love how easily you can just slide them down to check your water levels.
Oops..Oh, never mind . I just got to the end of the video. No show socks.
@@elizabethr2908 did you try the sock? And if so how did it work out for you?
What size sock? (And mens or womens sizing please) ❤fantastic solution for blocking out light
Will dipping the bottom of the lettuce in root stimulant powder help the roots develop?

The cat was starving 😅
What’s your mixture I don’t know where to start
