    In a follow up to my Aeroponic cabbage video. I go into detain about the ultrasonic fogger garden that houses my cabbage. I'll cover the design, the fan, what I've learned as a hydroponic farmer moving into fogponics. I hope this video helps you to either build a fogponic tower garden or decide not to.

    Very interesting. I like the way you explain what you would change with your system. Keep it up. 🙂

    Have the reservoir auto-fill using a float valve. Hoocho has done some great videos on this. Appreciate that will want water to have right nutrient mix so you could connect existing tank to a larger one containing right mix with valve in between, gravity fed so no need for pump. That will save you filling up every other day.

    Just found your channel today. Keep up the experimenting! You've inspired me to try fogponics too.

    In addition to a larger reservoir, try adding a toilet fill valve that automatically fills the reservoir when the water gets low.

    Probably make a bowl at the top of the tower where fog can flow down letting gravity pull the fog down

    Grew weed and veggies like this years ago. 😊. It's pretty easy until the plants get big and it's hard to get enough fog. Venturi fogger is the key for long term. Seal the stems with foam inserts. Recirculate the fog.

      Thank you! Yeah /i head that about fogponic weed. I think I'll stick with cabbage in the fog... I'd love to build a HPA system to grow weed in ;)

    Have you tried this with tubar plants like yam, potato, and peanut? Would it produce tubers with higher mass or more saturated with water content?

    *If only those floggers where dependable. The Piezo disc only has a 1250 hour rated life span. Fish aquarium Bubbles are rated for 15 years life-span and I have one that 45 years old and still working. *

    Do you have to constantly monitor the water level in regards to the ultrasonic fog maker or have you automated that somehow?

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  Год назад +1

      The fogger is floating so as long as the water level stays high enough to keep the floater floating it works. I usually just add about 64oz to top off ever few days.

    hi! why not a exhaust fan on the bottom on the opposite side of the fog injection and thus force the air trought the system?

    Do you use organic nutrients for this system? Could you use a compost tea?

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  3 месяца назад

      I do not, I'm sure you could, but the life of the fogger would be even more shortened.

    I dont understand why external air should be pushed in. Why?

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  Год назад

      It is required to move the air inside with the limited technology I'm using.
