    My husband and I watched a few of your videos regarding Kratky Hydroponics today. I just harvested my 1st quart jar lettuce today. I decided to use the whole plant so I could “plant” some spinach I had sprouted. We found your videos helpful both in confirming things I have already learned and in helping me learn new things. I found you because of a link someone had posted on FB either on hydroponics for beginners or Kratky (Passive) Hydroponics. I’m now a follower.

    Definitely enjoy watching your videos bro but as a grower I've bought some of those ph meters and ppm meters after 3 years I bought a bluelab combo meter due to trying to dial in my plants more

    Hi, you talked about micronutrients briefly. I just want to know if our plants are showing signs of any micronutrient deficiency what products do you recommend or how should we treat this. Thanks

    What about the micro nutrients? How do you put that in the water?

    Hello from Texas🤗
    Ok, I'm just getting started in this, always been a soil gardener. I'm going to have some crazy questions probably, so bear with me, lol .
    Let's say that someone was very well stocked up on pelletized fertilizer😉 Could that be dissolved in water, and used in a Kratky system, or hydroponic system?

      Oh wow,thats a good question, certainly worth trying on a inexpensive setup. My only thought would be that it wouldn't dissolve enough. My son watches sesame street and they have a saying now that I think is appropriate here, it goes. "I wonder? what if? Let's try! 🤙

    Thanks for this video. Quick question about the nutrient solutions - In addition to NPK, do they also have other micro-nutrients like, zinc, selenium, magnesium, etc. I'm curious if the harvest would be deficient in these other micro-nutrients?

    • @humblegrowth
      @humblegrowth  7 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely, the NPK is a generalization, and honestly doesn't even cover all the macro nutrients. A "complete" nutrient solution should contain all of the 19 micro and macro nutrients a plant needs to survive and thrive. You can always add more magnesium or zinc. A good nutrient solution though, will contain a suitable amount.
