Everybody else on RUclips seems to be trying to be the best at whatever video game they're playing. I like approaching games as just that, video games. I want to see what a game is on its most basic level and how somebody who randomly picks up a game experiences it. So lets experience these games and give them some well deserved time to see what they're like
Thalassophobe Plays Ocean Game
I hate the ocean, so of course my viewers demanded I play Subnautica, the scary ocean game with big fish that are going to eat me dead.

So, The Portal 2 Co-op Campaign is Great
Просмотров 30 тыс.14 дней назад
Portal 2 is a game created by Valve, the owners of Steam. Sure it was made a while ago but I never played it because it didn't look all that interesting. But now I've played both of the main line games, but there's another campaign experience to be had, I just need to find a friend, and I did, so we tried the portal 2 campaign together. *Check Out my Other Channels!* Check out my Terraria chann...

Black Mesa is a remaster of the original Half Life, a game created by Valve, you know, the people who you buy all your games from. I literally know nothing about this game and have no idea what to expect so we'll see what happens. *Check Out my Other Channels!* Check out my Terraria channel!: @Throarbin Follow me on Kick: kick.com/throarbin Follw me on Twitch: www.twitch.tv/throarbin Help Keep ...
I'm Terrified of the Ocean...I Played Subnautica
Просмотров 60 тыс.Месяц назад
I am playing all the video games I was never able to growing up. I'm not what you might call a "gamer" but now that I have my own money I figured I'd start playing the games I never could. Today I am trying the very popular ocean survival game, Subnautica. A game with terrifying fish that I hope I will never see. *Check Out my Other Channels!* Check out my Terraria channel!: @Throarbin Follow m...
So, Portal Revolution is Basically Portal 3
Просмотров 75 тыс.Месяц назад
Portal Revolution is a mod created for the portal series made by Valve, the owners of Steam. Sure it was made a while ago but I never played it because it didn't look all that interesting. All that happens is you use some portals for puzzle solving, right? Well, I gave it a try and was proven quite wrong. *Check Out my Other Channels!* Check out my Terraria channel!: @Throarbin Follow me on Kic...

A game you should put on your list is Castle Crashers.
The important things in the database are voiced. Everything you can read is very fun for the world building and actually understanding your surroundings but is eventually your prerogative. Like the reaper leviathans hunt via echo-location. And if you can hear it's screams it eventually makes it's way towards you in game.
I would love to see you play through Subliminal it's a really trippy game that was crazy the first time i played it
Somehow you were overthinking everything un-important and missed all the important story parts...
¿Porque no los dos?
Portal revolution uses a lot of advanced techniques you'd see in difficult puzzles, stuff like null portals and box respawns (Mike Daas has some great videos explaining them). The other mods, Portal Stories Mel, Aperture Tag, and Portal Reloaded don't use those difficult techniques as from what I've seen, but still have their unique mechanics. Enjoyed watching you find ways to "cheese" the puzzles though xD
Although I'm loads late, allow me to shed some light on some confusing matters you bring up in the video: First off: You are NOT the only one, who struggled on those puzzles. As it happens, Mods tend to have exorbitantly harder puzzle maps than the main games, since the main games are usually more story-driven (especially Portal 2). Modders, on the other hand, tend to be very, *very* passionate about making puzzles as intricate as they possibly can, so if you ever end up, playing Portal Stories: Mel, let me tell you one thing: It is *not* a shame to play through the easy mode of that game. Not one bit. I was stuck on one of them for literally 5 hours myself. At 6:10, you are actually supposed to deactivate the fizzler with the cube in the middle section, shoot a portal onto the ledge, walk back to the button to demand another cube, which you can then carry onto the ledge through the orange portal. And yes, Puzzles that require you to fizzle cubes to circumvent Fizzlers are also the ones I tend to get stuck on the most. My brain just does not want to fizzle cubes. As for 13:00, with the thing about Portal Gun's range: They did that after Portal 1. However, the Portal Device, you use during Portal 2 is the same, you use during Portal 1, since you literally pick it up from the now extinguished former incinerator chamber. So it is still an old model without this range restriction. Hence why you can still shoot a portal onto the moon. The button at 14:30 is actually a Cube-only button. The round buttons also activate, when the player stands on them. The rectangular ones do not, unless specifically a cube is placed on them. For the little rant at minute 24:00... Aperture Personality Constructs are familiar with the tests, but have a built-in subroutine to prevent them from helping the subject to solve it. In Portal 2, Wheatley literally gets electrocuted because of it. These were all, I remember right now. But I'm glad, you seemed to enjoy it ^^
17:52 truly an american moment
You missed the most important Potato... The one that overgrew the whole Aperture Science Laboratory SPOILER BELOW: Its Chells
I perfer Portal 2 but ONLY because ive played Portal 1 before. Without it, it would'nt be the same.
yep play the original Half-Life now, the biggest difference is Zen
portal is in the half life universe so... we know what happen to humanity 😅
Great video! I would also really love to see your reaction to Little Misfortune.
aaaaah you're the reason games are made to be so easy and overly telegraphing. Just kidding good work man. Glad you liked Portal
LeBron James Reportedly Forgot To Parry During His ULTRAKILL Playthrough
36:07 one of the things that subnautica does REALLY well is sounds like for example, here you can hear the reaper leviathan roar before attack like they always do :) Also 37:32 sorry to dash your hopes but your gonna have to do something you dont like to achieve your dreams 38:11 ohhhh boy, this island REALLY pissed me off when I played it, I swear the devs made it juuusssst big enough and the path jussssstt confusing enough to make you juuuussssst miss something on it 43:21 a hint for your progression should you keep playing is that this text is VERY important
Welcome back to your reckoning my friend, take a like and a cookie as compensation 🍪
19:35 You watched the Mattpat theory huh 😭😭
Idea for a game you can play, Rain World. There are no menu’s, you learn everything yourself and it’s one of the hardest and most rewarding games on the market.
its a shame how poorly this video did, lethal company is a really fun game
So I'm fairly sure that the weird sloped area was the abyss, basically the edge of the map.
Please keep playing!!!!
Outer Wilds. It's many people's favorite game, but not everyone has played it yet. You can only play it for the first time once. And can't really replay it.

You should toatally do the genocide run (or masochist run, as you call it lol)! I will warn, its difficult. But honestly its really interesting. I suggest doing pacifist too though! It ties up a LOT of the loose ends. Have fun!
i really hope you continue. i know its scary but i promise there is a huge payoff waiting.
Portal gun wouldn't work on the Sun at all... it works on the moon because the white goop that they use to paint the walls is made from regolith (moon dust). Also, Black Mesa and Aperture Science are rivals in the same world, and the spires are alien technology they don't belong to Black Mesa. And why would Aperture Science have labs inside a Black Mesa facility even if they were? GLaDOS also didn't destroy humanity, just a few thousand in her test facility. To find out what happened to the rest you'll need to play Half-Life 2. I think the mod maker was a lot less careful about lore than you gave them credit for.
Personal experience: if you aren’t sure if you’re enjoying a game? You aren’t enjoying the game. I love subnautica to bits (and heavily disagree with the idea that games shouldn’t have information the player would have to read to use, but that’s for another day) and as much as i would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the rest of the game…it sounds like the parts of the game that are the coolest to me (the big creatures, the ocean depths, and the small stories you find hidden in pdas) also seem to be the parts you dread the most. I don’t want you to feel obligated to force yourself to play a game for views. I would respect your decision to stop if that’s what you really feel is best. I look forward to your future videos! (Subnautica centered or otherwise!)
I have undertale on my Nintendo Switch I am playing the switch version of undertale
I am on Undyne boss battle which it is so hard to defeat her it takes quite a while to stay away from big arrows and collect little arrows I have already Completed Toriel's Boss battle, Napstablook's Battle and I have also defeated Papyrus Papyrus battle was a bit more easier than Undyne battle
Underrated youtuber
Please continue!
33:05 You monster. GLaDOS was right about you, you just can’t help but murder robots, even when they are just trying to help.
16:08 The actual solution: The tube near the vent was transporting cubes; you are meant to blow up the tube using rocket turrets to get a cube.
Please continue, your suffering is so fun to watch!
So you aren't a thalassophobe....
54:49 I just want to admire their attention to detail with the moon. They mention in the game that the "white goo" that lets you place portals on it is made of crushed up moon rocks. Such a perfect setup for when you see the moon, and you just know what to do because of that setup.
I sincerely hope you keep playing, if you’ve felt even a modicum of fun this far you’ll fall in love with what’s waiting deeper
Oof, you're gunna chase most people away with that intro.
i think this guy is just an airhead
Your first Subnautica video did do better then a majority of your videos so I don't see how it did terrible.
Try DDLC… trust bro
can you play the turnip boy series?
The end is never the end
did he turn off the soundtrack?
I really hope this video does well so you can keep playing, the game is incredible
The reason the last video probably didn't do so well. And also why this probably wont either. Is because you refusing the play the actual games content. Its why I clicked off the video, because I got bored. Youre better off playing a game you want to play, rather than restricting yourself to about 5% of a game you don't want to play.
I absolutely understand your take on storytelling in video games, but I would argue that Subnautica's story being presented in this way is purposeful to it's design. There is still a story happening around you and unfolding in real time: that's what the infection and radio broadcasts are, and this story doesn't require you to read logs in a data bank like you said, but there is another story in the game that tells the lore of the environment and those who came before. The PDAs are a remnant of the past that you are uncovering as you play, and while important to the overall story, it presents itself in a different way than most stories can normally unfold. Similar to reading books in Skyrim or other RPGs to learn about the world, and I definitely get where you're coming from. World building in this way isn't for everyone, and if its not something you can personally enjoy then Subnautica just isn't for you. There's nothing wrong with that either; it's just a genre that's quite frankly really nerdy, and while I personally love reading stuff like this, I can absolutely get behind why someone might not.
The cluelessness and so much confusion COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED If you played the Original "Half-Life" game, that "Black Mesa" was based off...
PLEASE PLAY HALF-LIFE (1) and then HALF-LIFE 2!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! THOSE ARE THE BEST VALVE GAMES EVER!!!(Portal and the TF2 IS ALSO PERFECT!!)
