There's missable stuff in this game that I suppose is easy to not notice. Pressing 4 to set your pals' attack priority, using C to slide, the xp limit for catching repeats is 10, etc. Gotta read the words on the screen I supose. Certainly took my more than 5 hours to figure it all out.
For being my first Throarbin Gaming video i really enjoyed it! Hooe more content comes! Only 3 games on my list for this channel are Undertale, Palworld, and Valhiem
Perhaps, depends on what you are going for with it and it all comes down to opinion. For me it just felt like it lacked impact while also trying to have one
It’s honestly impressive that a glowing yellow rectangle is so difficult to see. It took me almost 24 hours of playtime to notice the disassembly mode. Also, guns are the best way I have found to up your damage output as the first one you can get, the musket, deals a whopping 1000 damage and can be used to snipe lower level pals. I wish the melee weapons scaled that much as well but considering that you can’t really endure much damage keeping some distance would still be better. Also wish the effectiveness of the spheres were like poke balls where if you are a higher level than the pals you could always use the tier 1 spheres, but currently a tier 1 sphere has a less than 10% chance on anything higher than 15 for me and I’m currently in the 30s. Also, if you liked using a fox as a flamethrower, just wait until you can give a squirrel a sub-machine gun!
"All i needed to do was run back to where i died and get my stuff" hooo boy, you died in the eazy zone. Try dying somewhere FAR from a teleport, and surrounded by angry Pal.
I just want to say, the whole “death doesn’t feel that big of a problem” part really tells me how little you’ve made it in the game by the time of making this. I decided to go and try to get a Lyleen from one of the off shore Nature Preserve places, with this specific one being in the very top right of the map. I ended up using my team of lvl 30ish (I was 35) I use for generalistic exploration to travel there. I died like four times crossing the desert up there to Rayhounds, Robinquill Tera, and whatever the big red flying things there are called, which being in a heated environment like a desert and being filled with those types of pals who are aggressive made getting my stuff hell. Then when I did actually make it to the Nature Preserve where all the pals are mid 40s, I died once to a Bushi who had aggroed me. As it was my first encounter with one I didn’t know how it worked and was ready to dodge whatever attack it used to then stun it with my ice Jolthog grenade. It did the anime quick dash to one shot me and kill me, and because of the area not only did I drop my stuff, but my pals too. I then had to rush and get a new Surfent to use to swim across back to the island and recover my lost gear and pals. It did eventually pay off as I got a Lyleen up there and even found a Menasting on my way back but the stress I felt from those deaths was insane.
When it comes to combat I honestly quite like the system. I find it fun to keep enemy aggro on me and dodging the attacks while firing my own shots when I can with my crossbow, handgun, etc. while my pals work on taking down the enemy HP.
You lose the items because in multiplayer other players can take your items, also you drop your pals in hard mode as well... (and they can take them too)
I find the explanation of pokemon with guns is a terrible one, Palworld is much more like Ark but instead of dinosaurs it has made up elemental creatures with the art of pokemon and catching mechanism, that is it. Less pokemon and more Ark the classic survival crafting titan
You should really have played more before making the video, you can dismantle things you build, and the death system hurts alot when you die in the harder areas a long way away from a fast travel point.. There where many things in your video that would be made more clear if you played more
i play palworled on and off at the moment, i see alot of problems for example that my pales walk to the egde og my base and get stuck there untli i restet them on the pal box. We need to remember that this game is realy new and early acces. I Think this game will turn out great unless Nintendo will sue them to death.xD
"Maybe there's some functionality for this and I missed it" while the Disassemble mode option is on screen lol
15:13 : "may be there is a functionality for it that i missed" :
with the menu open where at the bottom middle, there is the functionality.

you could have just used the dissasemble mode by pressing B then C
Took me over 25 hours in game before i realized that was an option 😅

Dropping your gear/pals becomes a lot worse later on when the warp points aren't as frequent.
I’m late but the ones you’re talking about are not actually dungeons but boss arenas. The dungeons are in caves
a more accurate descrption would be : Ark with pokemon
I was getting ready to say this as my main comment, but decided to have a look down in the comments first. Glad you said something already. :)
for the map being as big as it is and\how strong some of the mons are the death makes sense

14:30 you should go into dissambly mode, pause the video at 15:17, there is a bright neon instruction how to, at the bottom of the screen
He completely ignores the tutorial then states he "may be missing some things"???
I was lucky enough to immediately spec into the flame crossbow that thing creates out damage for a while until you unlock the guns.

Yep, most survival games start with you washing up, your plane crashing, falling through a portal, etc to strip you of your assumed gear.
So this is what you were editing
yup
15:00 there’s a disassemble mode

if you onto build mode then you can go into disassemble mode by pressing c
Oh!? I'll have to try that
@ThroarbinGaming it refunds all the materials into your inventory as well
14:55 press b then c🙂
Another reason why you what's lacking behind was due to the fact that you wasn't catching pal your base efficiently was suffering.
playing this game on co op is really fun
Looks like Pokemon meets the latest Zelda games.

throarbin doesnt remember about the pizza or tropical mango bc he is a 2$ ai
and yes i liked my own comment
:]
throarbin has no pals in life or palworld
you really had some fun with these comments, didn't you?
@@ThroarbinGaming im never not bored
they arent MONS , they are PALS
They're all mons at the end of the day, no matter what fancy sticker the cover has
You lose the items because in multiplayer other players can take your items, also you drop your pals in hard mode as well... (and they can take them too)
you could try monster sanctuary
i'd like a playthrough not a edited version that explains whats happening
Foxparks is easily the best

there's also slavery and war crimes

FYI you have to make it clear you're being sponsored by a company. Please do that :)
dirt blok (again)
but Palworld doesn't have dirt block
😭

2:15 this was actually stolen from Pokemon Legends Arceus >.> You wash up on the shore from the future with a tablet.
