*Wow*, between the Portal video and this, you've earned a like and a sub from me. I dunno if this is just a hobby to you or you want to take this all the way, either way you have all the encouragement from me! Hoping for nothing but the best for your channel

He works at the churches between this so it’s surprising he can make such high quality content but make sure to check out his main channel too (it’s terraria if you’re interested) it’s just called Throarbin

idk man, reviewing a game but then saying you willingly ignore parts of the game (e.g. the notes that would possibly add to the story telling) is kinda wack.

i thought the same thing! he currently only has about 5 uploaded videos so all he can do from now is grow and get better. excited to see his growth as a reviewer

These are not meant to be "reviews" actually. I would admit a video like this is more a review than some of the others I've done considering it's a small game. The objective is to play the game as it is and engage with the things that seem interesting. If something doesn't interest me, I don't do it. Though for this one in particular, the story really wouldn't have anything to add as I'm focused primarily on the gameplay. Having a better story wouldn't make me more interested in actually playing the game. And the notes I did read or skim weren't really telling a full story since this is a rouglike but were more just cryptic messages that had something to do with the boss battle or the dungeon door.

I mean, he's not some game journalist or anything so I don't see why he would need to not ignore the parts he didn't really like? Personally he went above and beyond in the way he presented his opinion, and it's not like there's anything saying you *need* to take his opinion seriously.
With a channel this small I think we can chill a little with the standards. lol
