Does an arthritis case settle for a fair amount? I was fine throughout my life until I slipped and fell on faulty work floor mats and hurt my shoulder and hip. Mri states extensive arthritis in Ac joint. The insurance adjuster is trying to claim it was pre-existing. I'm currently doing PT.

I got Injured on 8/2020 in a construction scaffold incident. Fell 7-8 feet and landed on my feet unbalanced. I got work comp and got TTD and surgery on 1/2021 for bilateral inhuinal hernia. I was put on permanent and stationary. 1-2 years later my knees started hurting and lumbar spine a lot. Not until this year I learned I could reopen. I hired attorney and got my workers comp PCP again and treatment which was 5 epidural injections. I went into deposition. Now I have appointment for QME. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT MY CASE? Any tips , advice?

I am 65 and still working and not collecting my SS until I am 66 & 8 months. I just took a settlement with workman's comp for 30,000. I have to put in the bank 8,246.13 for future medical. Would I been better and took $24,999.00. If it is under $25,000 is it true you don't have to put that money in the bank for future use?

I've had three surgeries right shoulder when was augmentation have another tear killing me doctor said add my treaty position should have gave me a shoulder replacement so the q&A order an evaluation what's my treating physician she got mad cuz I told her what the qme doctor said she made a negative comment and rush me right out the office but she did say she was going to order physical therapy for my right shoulder and neck never received any appointments I'm still suffering with a lot of pain

Can your job still be protected after the 12 weeks of FMLA is depleted? I was jerked around with 6 weeks of PT, 2 week delay with MRI and now I was finally diagnosed with a tear and now im told its going to be another month until I see a specialist to see if I need surgery. How is that fair?

Injured both knees causing meniscus tear, and requires surgery. Just before the first knee getting surgery done, the insurance company offered a 15k settlement. My attorneys office called to inform me, and said that they were declining the offer, but asked if I was in agreement, and wanted to proceed with the surgery. Which I currently am.

Im a police officer and I injured my knee and completely tore my ligaments in my ankle back in January due to a on duty incident. I’ve been off of work and in therapy since then. Hi, thanks for giving us great information regarding NYS workers comp. My question, I went out on NYS workers comp and I was not at work for 30 days straight. I asked my company to reimburse my time when I was out, which they did. I know that the settlement will take that money back, but after I returned I took days off for physical therapy and then I retired from my position. Now, my old job wants to be reimbursed for the time I took for physical therapy. I would have gotten paid for that time when I retired and I was already taxed on that money. Can they charge that time to workers comp instead of letting me use my time like they already did? That's the thing that's holding up my settlement for the most part. Thank you in advance
