Been at this a few years now. Finally no more medical treatments can improve my condition. But everything in my state is pre-calculated based on a forumla. I think its criminal how you get zero compensation for driving to doctors for years. Your time and gas and maybe 5 years after your injured get a small payout. In reality insurance makes it so much a pain in the butt that you lose the will to even keep fighting. If i hadnt gotten an attorney for sure would of given up. Just know its not a quick process and stay positive.
Hope your feeling better. The system is broken for those of us that are really dealing with our surgeries and injuries. And there are those people just out there suing everyone they can. With false or fraud claims. What was your outcome?
my lawyer left the law firm and had 2 other lawyers since i filed my claim and been 5 years since i started this and just recently finally got an offer and my lawyer went higher then they accepted the counter offer and she went higher and almost doubled my original offer. she told me what happened and how i won and all and just need to wait for final documents to be sent over to read over them and esign everything and send it all back. everyone in my family said drop it and claim bankruptcy and start new again but i held strong with it and came up winning after 2 doctors said nothing to be done to fix my neck issue and 2 slap tears since i have uncontrollable seizures. was told nothing can happen because i can fall and ruin the surgeries if and when i were fall randomly and drop into a seizure. after that was said took about 3 months later and finished negotiating
My son had a slip and fall work related injury on May 2023, they suspended him from work the same day of the injury. Employers insurance approved his reconstructive knee surgery at first. They fired him than canceled the approval for his surgery. His lawyer is appealing by October 2023. He had filed complaints to federal agencies before the termination of his employment. If he is not satisfied with how his attorney is managing his case and he decides for another legal representation, does he have to pay her for the time she submitted his documents?

I’ve been on workers comp since January 2020. I have 4 separate injuries from the same incident. I haven’t been offered anything as of yet.
